spectacular views, calm and peaceful yet walking distances to lovely pub and top quality farm cafe -also with stunning views.

Future visitors should be aware that there are no plug points (apart from two slow USB sockets), limited reception and no wifi etc. so really is quite off grid. Not a problem at all if chilling for one night like us but might be if stayed longer as there was no reception at all. Our cabin also had a very steep ladder to sleeping area that we were unaware of until day before arrival. One of us has arthritis and another had an injury so it was really quite difficult to use. Looking at pics of other cabins it may be that they are easier to access so I suggest checking in advance if this is a problem. None of this is a criticism of the accommodation but is important to be aware when choosing. We loved our stay!

Beautiful tranquil setting with amazing views, a lovely pub to walk to after exploring Rye, Winchelsea and Camber sands- what more could you ask for.

The hot water pilot light kept going out 😔. They were more than happy and quick at sorting it out but a little frustrating. The fire warmed the hut up beautifully but was very tricky to light.

Excellent location, gorgeous hut.

I would just slightly improve the communication when booking. We had no idea which hut we were in when we turned up (and didn't find the signs on site to be that clear either). The host, however, was very responsive when we called so it wasn't too much of an issue in the end. The hut was beautiful and generally very well equipped. However, we didn't feel that comfortable lighting the stove with a small cigarette lighter, a longer gas lighter would be better. Some shower gel in the bathroom would also have been handy. Other, than that, excellent stay!

Stunning location. Beautiful hut. Really helpful and welcoming owner. And a lovely little pub within easy walking distance. Just the tranquil retreat we needed.

The isolation and view was just what was needed. Everything was well equipped, the shower was amazing. The team were easy to get hold of and easy to talk to 😀

Confusing to find the hut we were in. It wasn’t very clear. We moved our things into the wrong one and then had to move again. The shower temperature regulation was a bit tricky also.

Only criticism, poor signage at the entrance to the site. We arrived after dark and struggled to find the site. Staff at the pub helpfully pointed us in the right direction.

Had trouble checking into the hut, as the one i was in did not have a name anywhere obvious, and i was worried i was going into the wrong hut.

An escape from it all! Quirky, quaint and fun! Hut was comfortable cosy but also clean and modern. Loved it.

Nothing apart from the muddy wall to the local pub was very muddy and main road too busy to safely walk along as no Pavement

No signs on main road to find entrance. Pathways to pub could have been made more obvious/ better maintained.The overall surrounding could have been cleaner and more well kept around the hut (windows ,decking fire pit,cutlery & mugs,blanket,cushions)

It's a great hut, more space and more amenities then you'd expect- even USB charging ports. What really makes it special is the location. We loved having sheep just outside the window, feeling like no one else was around and being able to have proper bbqs outside. It was so blissful. It's close to Rye, has a local pub and a local farm foods/cafe shop, we even found local alpaca trekking.

There was nothing we didn't like - it was all great. If you do book (and I do recommend it) take a note of what hut you book, because it's hard to work out from the info booking.com gives you - we nearly wandered into the wrong hut!

Environment and location are very good! Sofa and bed is comfortable. Clean and Cosy . Facility are perfect,We stay three nights at hive and fell so interesting ,unusual experience . Owner solve problem is very quickly. Thanks ! Overall very satisfied.

no marks on the main road （ we missed it when we arrive ) hot water occasionally gets cold for ten seconds. Upstair ceiling are little bit low.
