We enjoyed our stay very much! The kids enjoyed playing pool and we especially enjoyed the second bathroom! Everything was clean and spacious. Nice, quiet stay away from the noise of traffic or neighbors. Would definitely stay again!

We had such a great stay in 2022, we booked our vacation for 2023 to match with the availability of the property for this year. Such a perfect place with all the amenities and the proximity to the lake. Owners are speedy with responses and very accommodating! Highly, highly recommend!

I rented this property for a ski getaway to celebrate my adult daughter’s birthday. My son also joined us. The home has been renovated with care. It is tasteful, spacious & beautiful. We enjoyed the fireplace both evenings. The owners were fantastic! Great communication & restaurant recommendations. We woke up to a snowstorm Sat morning (about 12” or more) & Richard plowed the driveway & the road(!) early so that we could go to Killington. The only thing one should consider is the need for a vehicle with good traction in winter. We had no problems (snow tires!) but the road and driveway might challenge some cars. Also, because of weather, it was a 45 +/- drive to Killington. Woodstock is close by and excellent for dining. Despite the drive, we loved our stay.

We loved this place! It was just perfect for our weekend skiing getaway. Richard and Mandy were very friendly and prompt. The place was very clean and the beds were soft and comfy. It was great to have a fireplace as well. The location is very peaceful but with a restaurant only 7 min away. It was bigger than we thought it would be, which was nice and the fireplace was perfect for those cold nights. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay and I have to say, it was just as wonderful as the first time! Absolutely love the house and the location. The house is perfect for our needs! Will absolutely be looking for year #3!! Thank you!

The property was just as advertised. Clean and cozy. We stayed there to attend the "Wassail Weekend" festivities in nearby Woodstock. It worked out perfectly for us. I'd stay there again if ever in the area.

Overall this was a spacious comfy and cozy gathering place for my siblings and Dad to come during the day to visit with north of the border family. Out every window was lightly snow dusted evergreens and branches that sparkled in the sunshine. Was so convenient to special little villages… Bethel, Barnard, South Royalton, Sharon, and Randolph which we enjoyed very much. Highly recommend this lovely Vermont getaway.

Came to Vermont for the weekend with some friends and couldn't have been more pleased with this stay. Highly recommended for a romantic weekend getaway or a beer trip for the best ipas.

Richard and Mandy’s home in Bethel was exactly what we needed for a fall weekend away. Nestled in gorgeous Bethel, it was the perfect spot. Check in was a breeze and they responded immediately to the few questions I had. The pictures don’t do this home justice. Would recommend this place to everyone!

We had an amazing stay at this property and it was just perfect for our family of 4. We all had space to spread out and it helped tremendously with relaxing between activities. We loved being so close to silver lake and overall it's a great central location to lots of activities. This is our 5th annual family trip to VT to see local family and the best accommodations we've ever had. The hosts were prompt with replies and the photos do not do this place justice. We will most certainly be returning if the opportunity arises again!

Great home centrally located. Room for our family of 5 to relax and enjoy Vermont comfortably. We have been recommending this home to all our friends in Vermont that may have visitors come up. Would definitely rent again. Pool table and smart tvs gave great options for kids. Room outside for kids to wander around and the firepit was a hit! Large mud room is great for storing any winter/summer supplies you may be using.

This property was everything advertised and more. Spacious, comfortable and clean- we'd definitely stay there again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Thank you Richard and Mandy for for making our stay so wonderful! The place was very clean and comfortable. All six of us enjoyed playing pool and relaxing by the fireplace. The ride to Killington was very pleasant. I liked that linens and towels were provided, just one less thing to worry about . Would definitely stay here again!

The place was fantastic. We used it as home base for a few days of snowboarding and it was marvelous. Exactly what we needed. Communication was near instantaneous for the minimal amount of questions I had. Would def. stay again!! Thank you!

Richard and Mandy have a nice place. For just a little more than a hotel you can get a small living room, a kitchen and a pool table to relax with. Place was clean and Richard and Mandy were very quick to respond to anything.

We had a lovely weekend at the house. The hosts were fantastic and amazingly helpful and responsive. It was arctic cold, and the house was warm when we got there. There was plenty of firewood for the fireplace. And my kids absolutely loved learning how to play pool. The location was centrally located for skiing Killington and Sugarbush.

We had an excellent stay. The house is just as pictured and described, maybe a bit better than the VRBO description. Attractive, up-to-date kitchen and washer and dryer. We especially enjoyed the fireplace, which we used several times. Wood is provided. Furnace is very efficient. The king bed (the only one we used) was quite comfortable. Although it’s in a semi-rural environment, there are several restaurants nearby and in the area. A supermarket is about 10-12 minutes away and many larger stores are in Lebanon/West Lebanon, about a 30 minute drive. Check-in and communication with owners was easy and efficient. We’d definitely like to return!

Another great stay, thanks to these thoughtful, accommodating hosts. Reading lamps with usb ports in the king and queen bedrooms were a nice addition. The house was pleasantly warm despite the frosty weather. The fireplace draws well and is a lovely feature in the evening. Love the area and this rental - we're looking forward to booking again. We had just a short weekend at this home but enjoyed it very much in spite of dark and damp weather. It was very clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Furniture quite cozy in front of excellent fire while watching very acceptable streaming service. We even played pool which I hadn’t expected.

We chose this property because it was both “ out of the way” and easily accessible to I-89. The home is spacious and furnished with the best of everything. The beds were super comfortable! Our family enjoyed using the pool table, fire pit, and fireplace. And the Creek House Diner down the road is a real local gem!

Very easy check in and hosts replied right away. We were traveling for a wedding in a very remote area and I was very pleased with how close we ended up being to the event. The bed was SO COMFORTABLE. We will be back with friends now that we know how convenient the layout is and how close the place is to all kinds of activities. Only suggestions would be a couple bedside table lamps and some silicone cooking utensils for the non-stick pans.

Mandy and Rich are extremely accommodating hosts who put a lot of thought and energy into guest comfort. This one story property is clean and well equipped. It has an open plan feeling, with bedrooms on the periphery. The A/C was running when we arrived and temperature was never an issue. Our beds were very comfortable. Surrounded by trees, the location is quiet and private. Pass working farms and distant mountain views on your way in and out. Walk a quiet, scenic country mile (or five) without driving to a trail head. Enjoy a fire, inside or out - the hosts provide abundant firewood. Discover a million stars in the dark sky above. Reading, cards, games, movies ... even a pool table! There is a small room with a glass door just off the living room/kitchen, that we used as an office for remote work. It has windows, an upholstered settee, coffee table, lamp, and TV. WiFi met all our needs, including video calls. We love the area, which is less heavily traveled than Hanover/Norwich a half hour south. Really enjoyed this Vrbo gem and have already made a second reservation. Many thanks Mandy and Rich!

My family and I came up here from Long Island (NY) to celebrate my wife’s birthday. While our intentions were to go hiking the weather was non-cooperative. Lolz. Nevertheless Richard and Mandy had left behind some other suggestions for us as starting points. In addition, we all just had such a blast playing pool until all hours of the night. The kids definitely outlasted us for sure. The place was incredibly spacious. Everything that we needed was provided for us. I cannot say enough great things about this house. My only regret is that I can only give it 5 stars.
