The English breakfast was substantial and most excellent.

Very friendly hosts, who were welcoming. Super breakfast which arrived with minimal wait. Amazing room which was clean and fresh. Excellent location

An adequate range of cooked and non cooked food was provided and the staff were keen to meet guests eating requirements.

The Adelphi, is in a good location for access for buses and train lines, the local beach and Paignton shopping centre.

Good breakfast with really nice bacon and sausages. Very well cooked and not greasy and was very happy to serve a portion of grapefruit which was not on the menu. The room was comfortable with tea, coffee and biscuits with and a communal fridge with cold bottle water.

Awkward layout with the bathroom cabinet over a small which I banged my head on when cleaning my teeth but this is really a minor point.

I enjoyed the quietness of the room and the thoughtful little bottles of shower gel and hair products.

Welcoming host.Very comfortable and clean room with adjoining shower/ toilet facilities. Great value.

Shower water pressure was non-existent, to the point of really being able to shower.

Very friendly staff, location excellent, breakfast was fabulous, cooked fresh to order every morning. Staff were always on hand to give advise and ideas about places to visit. Would definitely use accommodation again if we were in this area and would strongly recommend a stay at this little gem!

Super comfort all around, a 5 star hotel hospitality in a down to earth and friendly quite little hotel. Great night sleep and a perfectly cooked breakfast included. Very well central located and private parking. Perfect stay.

"For me" as no one else seemed to hear it was so loud.."A hum from generator that was working with a new 5g phone tower opposit. I had booked for three nights but left after just one night. I was offered a different room at the back of the hotel but "I could hear the hum all the time everywhere?" even well away from the hotel (Must be me?) I have stay there three times before and found the place and the people really nice but I will not be going back to anywhere near the "New 5g phone tower" so maybe I won't even go back to Paignton?
