Pool, spa, tennis court, short walk to restaurants and the beach. Who could ask for more? Well maybe a little more. The house needs maintenance and freshening, but everyone loved it and we can’t wait to return! Our hostess Megan was great. Very responsive and great to work with.

Perfect house to celebrate Christmas with our 3 adult 20-something children. Very spacious and comfortable , hot tub and tennis court were great, and our son o Loved being able to walk 3 blocks to the beach every morning to surf. The property manager always responded immediately, even on Christmas Eve, and they were very kind in not having onerous requirements at check out as other properties do (they did not require that we wash all sheets and towels, empty all trash cans all over the house etc as other properties do)

This house is in a truly perfect location, just a few blocks from La Jolla Shores beach and shopping street. The property itself is also amazing, with one of the nicest pools/hot tubs that I have ever seen in any house or vacation property ever. The manager (or pool company?) forgot to turn on the pool heat for us, but she took care of it in a few hours and refunded us the pool fee for that day without us even asking. Once the heat was on, we spent probably three hours a day in the pool. Our 3 year old daughter has told everyone about it (like actually everyone - random TSA agents, for example). We didn't use the tennis court but it was in great shape and looked very enticing. The house itself has a lot of wonderful features. There are two dishwashers, a brand new (I think) high-capacity washer/dryer set, a Sub-Zero fridge, filter water taps at almost every sink, cedar-lined gigantic closets, and four different indoor lounge/living areas. The "hallway" is a huge space that our kids loved playing in and is really an additional lounge area on its own. The bathrooms are all large and each bedroom has an en suite bathroom. There are box fans in each closet, which we made great use of as it was uncharacteristically warm in La Jolla when we were there. There are plenty of kitchen dishes and glassware. There were only two issues worth mentioning. First, the house is a bit worn, as another review said. A relatively small investment to replace the faucets (which were stripped and so didn't always fully turn off), the pool umbrellas (which were torn), and a few other things would be good. Similarly, there are a few broken/missing baseboards, cabinetry trim, and drawer fronts, which made us nervous with our young kids crawling around. Taking care of these maintenance items (and generally giving the house a refresh) would greatly improve the usability of the property. Second, for a rental property of this caliber, a few of the typically provided items were missing: hand soap in the kitchen, dish washing fluid, saran wrap, tissues, napkins, etc. We had to make a few runs to Target to top up what was in the house. Making sure guests have everything they need that they likely will not pack would make the experience of staying at this property more carefree. Overall, however, a wonderful experience, and we will be back again!

My immediate family and a few friends celebrated my birthday at this lovely house. We played tennis every day., walk to nearby restaurants, And ended our days with a nightly stroll to catch the sunset at the beach.

Our family, including two grandchildren, had a wonderful time in beautiful LaJolla. The house was perfect! We enjoyed hours in the swimming pool, and my children enjoyed playing tennis! Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed everything about this house…. we played Pickleball on the tennis court, used the spa and the pool and enjoyed the large round dining room table! AND great location!

We had an amazing escape to LaJolla Shores. The location of this house is perfect as it’s few blocks from the main La Jolla Shores dining district and the beach. The pool, spa and tennis court make for a tropical oasis in the backyard of the house. We would definitely rent here again.

This house is pretty worn but has the most exquisite pool and gardens. The layout is separated into 2 sides off a central hallway with French doors for every room used for entertaining. This made the house ideal for families. Young kids loved the hallway and Little ones could sleep on the bedroom “side” with no noise to worry about. This is the second time we’ve stayed in this house and enjoyed it again.

My mother wanted to take our families on a trip and we were so thankful to come across this property. With plenty of space, bathrooms and sleeping options, we were very comfortable. In total, there were two adult couples, a single adult, and five kids. We loved the layout, proximity to the beach and stores (walking distance) and pool, spa and tennis court on sight. We could have stayed just at the house the whole time and been perfectly content. We’ve told many people about the house since then!

Beautiful, fabulous pool and hot tub area and the house is set up perfectly for a mutigenerational family with many different areas that people can hang out. Wonderful that all the bedrooms are en-suite as well and its all on one floor. We loved it and would reserve again in a heart beat.

The house was awesome great location and lots of room for everyone. We really enjoyed the spa basketball court and outdoor fireplace. We had an amazing week ! Proximity to the beach and restaurants was great as we could walk to anything.

Our family had a amazing experience. A perfect location, quintet and a walk to the beach and food and shopping. The pool and tennis court is perfect for families with children to play. Spacious and clean. The owner was amazing, she communicated very well, and even went out of her way to bring us a pack and play and highchair for our baby. Highly recommend! Will be coming back.

This property was lovely. Our group enjoyed the space, the pool and the location. I wish there would have been some better beach chairs and a cooler considering the proximity of the beach that is the entire reason for staying in this location. We ended up having to buy and leave for hte next group. Enjoy!!! ;) We had a range of ages 2 to 55 and the space had something for everyone.

Really an amazing location. We didn’t drive Much as we walked to the restaurants, cafes, and the beach. The pool, spa, and tennis court was awesome.

Great property and location.

We spent a week here with another family of 4 (8 total) + visits from my college age son and his roommates during Spring Break The house was set up divinely for an Easter Dinner celebration at the large outdoor table, and the backyard - well that is really what this house is all about! We had an Egg hunt (96 eggs) hidden throughout the tropical yard - yes, even for the college students!! We lounged by the pool (very warm) and used the hot tub nightly. (Ran into an issue with the hot tub heating way too hot, but it was immediately addresed). The tennis court added additional fun and activity and is on property, not shared. The house is set up with a long hallway that leads out the backyard, the living space on the right - Kitchen, Dining room, TV room, Office. Four bedrooms are on the left - media room/twin room "apartment," queen bed/sofa, queen bed and huge master with access to the backyard deck and pool. Would have loved to see the "apartment" set up to be more of a second Master bedroom (and it was a bit stuffy smelling). The middle 2 rooms were nice size, but could have accommodated the twin beds (convert to king) or bunks for more kids. The kitchen has green cabinets - yes, but they are fun. There is a huge island - double oven, gas stove, 3 sinks, 2 diswashers and a huge refrigerator. Perfect for our large group, increased need to cook due to COVID and our jumbo Costco order! Decor keeps your interest, but is not over the top and the house is just lovely! Proximity to the beach is an easy 3 block walk, and a block and a half to Avenida de la Playa, with shops, restaurants, watersports/tours etc. There are also nice walks to La Jolla via the Cave Trail along the ocean. You can also walk beyond the pier to Blacks Beach and the Glider Port during low tide and catch a Bird Scooter back down the the shores. Our group all agreed that we had a touch of luxury for the week and would definitely stay again if we got the chance!

The layout is fantastic, the backyard is gorgeously landscaped. The pool/hot tub lovely, the tennis court with the basketball net was a huge hit. Our 3 kids surf so they were able to walk to the surf break (about 10 minute walk). Many of the restaurants were doing outdoor dining and takeout, and our teenagers had a blast being able to have the independence given the proximity.Our contact person for the property was very responsive to all of my questions. Spacious home perfect for large family vacation. Walking distance to beach and cute restaurants. Pool was perfect with fantastic hot tub. Tennis court was another entertainment option. Highly recommend!

Excellent family Thanksgiving vacation!Great house with multiple bedrooms and an amazing swimming pool and hot tub. House and fixtures are a little older, but who cares. The location and outdoor living space make it wonderful. I highly recommend for families who love swimming and the beach.

This is an amazing property with all the amenities. The backyard with hot tub, pool and tennis/basketball court is so amazing you could stay there the entire time. But the short walk to the beach is even more amazing!
