everything was great as advertised

Our stay was very calm and we spent a lot of time with family. Enjoyed the beach area with the kids. The owner was very good with communication. The cabin was well equipped. We really enjoyed our time away from hustle and bustle.

What a truly wonderful home! My spouse and I hosted a group of ten (including ourselves) at Lure Me In for a week for a 25th anniversary gathering of our friend group. The cabin was precisely what we needed in every way: 1. The rooms were clean, beautiful, comfortable, and accessible. 2. The kitchen—oh my goodness, I’ve never seen a bette stocked kitchen, which was such a relief because we COOKED. Man, did we cook! LOL 3. The two common areas were well appointed and fantastic for games and chatting, and as gamers we did a lot of both. 4. The beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in; I actually wish I’d checked the brand of mattress because I’m seriously considering buying my own. 5. Towels—SO many towels including a really thoughtful touch of a little basket of grey washcloths/towels in each bathroom specifically intended for makeup removal. How smart! I could really go on and on. The location is wonderfully convenient—less than a ten minute drive to the beach—but it’s off the main road enough that you really feel very private. We didn’t actually use the fire pit or hot tub (way too hot right now!) but we loved our mornings and evenings on the porches. The owner was wonderfully communicative at all points, very friendly, quick to respond, and so very helpful. I’ve never had THIS good of an experience with any rental, and I’ve rented quite a few. Lure Me In really deserves more than five stars. Kudos!

Lure Me In Lodge did just as its name implies and our family could not have asked for better Memorial Day weekend accommodations. Clean and well appointed, a king bed on each floor, secluded but situated near the Lake; this lodge was perfect for our trip. Would highly recommend!

Awesome House .. all you need you got it. I ask host for just one hour late checkout and they give me 2 hours …!!! 🙌🙏👍

PROS: Beautiful location. Quaint little village just a five minute drive. Close to Chimney Rock Park. We had eight adults and four children and there was plenty of room for all. The hot tub was a favorite amongst everyone. The firepit area was great for sitting and talking and making smores. The billiard table and numerous board games kept the family entertained. CONS: Every adult complained about the awful mattresses. We all had a hard time sleeping and woke up with soreness because of the worn out beds. The driveway is very hard to maneuver, especially for three vehicles. While the kitchen was pretty well stocked with equipment, there was absolutely no room for food storage. We cooked several grand meals and non-perishables had to be kept in boxes on the floor. One must open the stove door in order to open a drawer or open the dishwasher to open a different drawer. The construction of this home is shoddy at best. The kitchen floor slopes and there are numerous water leaks on the deck area leading to mold on the outside and I truly believe it is why two of us kept having respiratory problems. In other words, we had a nice get together but the house itself needs a lot of repair.

The house was beautiful and fully stocked with everything we needed. The hosts were very gracious and even emailed to say we could check our late Sunday because no one else was coming after us. Great experience and would definitely stay again 😊

My family and I had a great time at Lure Me in Lodge. The place was great for a large family or if you just want a lot of room. We cooked a complete Thanksgiving feast and there was plenty of cookware and appliances. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. The hostesses, Sharon and Heather were great! They were quick to respond to any inquiry or need. The Lodge is conveniently located to everything in the area. The grocery store is less than 10 minutes down the street and the local liquor store just 2 minutes. Your minutes away from restaurants and all sorts of outdoor activity. Chimney Rock village is just 5 minutes down the street. We happen to like Ashville and it is just a 40-minute easy drive. We will definitely plan another vacation here in the future.
