We loved the view, the hot tub, and the fireplace. The holiday lights and decorations were a bonus! The dining table was nice and large for dinner gatherings and games. The kitchen is rustic and in need of an upgrade.

Spacious cabin in a great location which worked out as a great value for our group of 5. The hot tub was a big hit, and the huge great room was very comfortable. And we loved sitting outside on the big deck covered by huge full-grown trees I would stay again!

The space stayed warm (outside temperatures pretty mild in 30s-40s) through ample electric baseboard heating and a pellet stove in living room. Good basic pots and pans. It was a good stay with no hassles. Time to replace the grill, which was obviously a good model but needs at least a refresh on the burners. It works but not up to original design. Hot tub worked and accommodates 3 comfortably (due to design of seating).Primary bedroom/bathroom suite very spacious!Recommend

We enjoyed our stay and love the Welches location so we can stay out of the traffic, but get to the ski/hike areas in a short time. Well equipped and mnmgt was easy to contact and work with. Would recommend.

Great place for a large group. Huge table perfect for meals and games. The deck and hot tub were lovely. We had a small issue with power in one of the bedrooms when we first arrived but someone came over to help fix it right away. Good location just a few minutes off the highway but felt really tucked away and cozy. The preparation email tells you to bring firewood if you want to use the wood burning stove, but this place actually is just a pellet stove- and the pellets are provided so no need to bring firewood.

We loved our stay in Welches! The house was well equipped, with comfortable beds, a great, well-maintained hot tub, plenty of towels, games and comfy couches to lounge! The house is also in a great location near the grocery store, restaurants, bars and close to Mt. Hood. Definitely recommend!

We went as a family in November. It was beautiful had a happy feel about it, and was perfectly suited for large dinners. It was a lot of fun.

What an amazing property this was. Our immediate family had not been together for five years plus we had a new grandbaby. Not only was the location perfect but the owners had it fully decorated for Christmas - it was just like Santa came. It snowed all weekend - the hot tub was well used with snow flakes coming down. It was perfect in so many ways - thank you.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The interior of the home had a charming look and feel. The location was great, close to hikes, grocery store but still tucked away for privacy. The appliances are a bit out of date but other than that we had a nice stay.

Lots of space for everyone, large dining area to bring everyone together, beautiful deck and hot tub, and nice area fenced off for the dog. Fun to watch golfers go by... and some had to stop and search...haha. all in all, great place to stay.

Just ok, I've rented many Vrbo's. The outside of the house is very dirty! It needs a good cleaning. The deck has some very creaky boards. The impression walking up to the front door is underwhemling.

The property was tucked away at the end of the road, situated next to the golf course. While there was a house next to it, we rarely heard them. The house was simple, with two nice bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs and two extra bedrooms upstairs. The upstairs bedrooms must have been for kids because the beds were pretty bad. The rest of the house was well furnished and relaxing. The upstairs beds and the lack of AC (listed on the property listing) were our only two complaints about the property.

This home in Welches is in a great spot on the golf course and near the forest. We really enjoyed the spacious home with plenty of beds and sleeping options. Even with our family of 6 we didn't use all the beds, and our kids loved having their own rooms! The hot tub was very popular. Some aspects of the home could use an update, like the kitchen cabinets for example. But, frankly, that's not a bad thing when you have 4 high energy kids and you don't want to constantly worry about them dinging the brand new shiny things. Overall: plenty of space, great hot tub, great location, very enjoyable stay!

We stayed here mid week in February for a ski trip on Mt. Hood. The house is about a mile and a half off Hwy 26 in Welches, near the golf course. The roads are maintained well, and getting there and back out was pretty easy. The house was immaculately clean, there were no issues at all, and we felt at home. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals, and there are lots of towels and linens. The deck and surrounding area are great for pausing to listen, there is a brook just to the East of the house that provides beautiful sound. The heat is mostly either baseboards or small electric wall heaters, and you can adjust them room by room. It does take a bit of fiddling to get them right. Most of the thermostat have ha d written explanations, but they ran cold from our experience. There is a spot to park above the driveway for nights with snow or ice forecast. The driveway is quite steep, and would require deicing or shoveling in bad weather. The hot tub was well maintained and easy to use, with a folding hinge and brackets that made it easy for one person to operate. The owner might want to consider relocating the pool chemicals, which we put up on a high shelf to keep away from our kiddo. It might also be wise to have a safety latch for the hot tub, too, just as an added safety measure.
