The place is nice and clean and right in the beach. This is our second year staying there but, unfortunately will be the last. There was a moody/mildew smell that was there the first year, pretty sure it’s coming from the main bathroom. We’ll. The same smell was there this year, we had to buy candles to disguise the smell. Other than that place is nice. Just unfortunate this hasn’t been fixed as it’s pretty noticeable. Thanks

Place was clean, everything you need was there and in working order. Beds were comfy. View was great!

This place is very comfortable to stay in. It has all the items you would need. It was very clean when we arrived. It is on the 2nd floor + ground so really third floor. Found out there was an elevator after bringing our bags up, but used it for the departure :-). The view is definitely nice.

We enjoyed our time so much. Only feedback to make the stay better would be a TV in the master bedroom, replace screen door in living room, replace bulbs in kitchen as they are blinking. Remove stainless steel table to allow for easier movement.

It was such a wonderful experience. The condo was in a great location, with Fort Fisher aquarium and Southport ferry only 1/2 mile away. The beach was easily accessible, the balcony was so restful. It was a calm and peaceful place! Away from the touristy area but still close enough. Would stay here again!

My friend and I stayed here for a long weekend. Prior to checking in, we tried to reach the property manager, the person whose number and email was noted on the listing. Three times, and this person never responded. Basic questions which could’ve been answered in a few minutes were not. This wasn’t the way we wanted to start our weekend Upon arrival we noticed that the place was incredibly dusty and the dishes were dirty. We had to spray down the place for cleanliness as well as clean the dishes again. The uptick, this place is in a great location and the place is however the owner and property manager need to take better care of ensuring they are available to the guest, making sure the place isn’t dusty, and please make sure all the dishes are clean. It was kind of gross. While the listing states you can use the fireplace, you cannot. That was a selling point for us and it was a great disappointment to find out that we couldn’t use it. There is a queen bed and one room and two twin beds in the other. If you’re going with two couples, that likely won’t work. And… There’s only one shower in the place so 1 1/2 bath

Beach Front!.... No obstructions....

Loved the spot on the beach! The rock outcropping makes beautiful waves just don’t slip while you investigate the tide pools. We liked how far down Kure Beach this was, away from the busy sections. Great spacious kitchen and condo with everything that we needed. She had a helpful binder of good eats and things to do nearby. Loved the big balcony! Only thing we’d change was we wish there was an overhead fan in the master bedroom.

We loved our stay, nice quiet area and feels like a private beach. Condo was clean and we totally enjoyed our stay!

Pricey but worth the cost considering location on the ocean and beach! Clean and comfortable with modern decor. Only negatives are the beach equipment not in great shape (we brought our own anyway) and deck furnishings not completely comfortable (high stools and table). Kitchen is beautiful and well stocked - we cooked our entire stay, saving eating out money and time. Love that you can watch family on the beach while sitting inside or on deck. We had a lovely stay and would select this rental again with no reservations! Oh, and bring your records for the record player hooked up to whole house audio (which also connects via internet music sources) and don’t forget there is an elevator which is right around the corner from the front door (for transporting your vacation packings)!

The Carport is very small. Anything bigger than a CX-5 may be tight. The VRBO listing neglected to mentioned these things: the condo is on 2nd floor above carport, so 2 flights of stairs. There is an elevator but didn't find out about it until after unloading. Found it when looking for the beach access.There is no beach access from the condo balcony. Beach access is between two condo units, not a big deal and felt safer since no one had access to our balcony and less sand to track into condo. 2nd bedroom only had a half bath, listing says 2 bath, should be 1 1/2 bath, non-issue for us since it was just the two of us. If we had brought our adult daughters, it would have been a little light since they would have to shower in the master bath. This condo is small, but clean and well laid out. An obvious woman's touch -- nice decorating, jacuzzi tube (which I didn't use, concern for mold in jets, just me). The fridge had slight smell of fish we learned to live with. The WiFi Spectrum info had a typo but miraculously figured it out, said 69 was actually 59. December was so quiet, very few people on the beach, spectacular view of the ocean from living room and master bedroom. So much nature, birds, dolphins to see. Enjoyed the sound of the ocean when sleeping. Wouldn't want to swim this area in warmer month due to lots of rocks in the shallow areas. Beach is eroding terribly on this part of Kure, lots of sandbags to help stop it, felt bad for these condo owners. One more thing, after listing the check-in paperwork said vacationers were not allowed to use the fireplace, a little disappointed, but still enjoyed the 3-day stay. Overall, very nice quiet winter get-away for a couple at a reasonable price. We checked out the little town of Southport via the 30-minute ferry which crosses Cape Fear River which was a "boatload" of fun. Southport is charming and has nice little shops and good restaurants!

This was the worst rental I have ever stayed in. There was a problem when I tried to park in the designated spot because a workman had it blocked off. He was verbally aggressive when I engaged with him. The couches were sprayed with very strong pungent chemical(s) that rubbed off on my hair and clothing. The horrific odor lasted throughout my stay and as a result, I was unable to relax. The bedroom pillows also had a strong foul odor. I had to wash the pillow cases and covers twice. The mattress cover was stained and nasty. The bathroom had a mildew odor coming from the bathtub that drifted into the master bedroom. The fridge and freezer had a strong fishy odor that permeated onto my food and onto the ice cubes. Most of the cable channels were unavailable. I had to call Spectrum twice and was told after a technician came out that there was a poor signal and the wiring needs replacing. He said the owner was made aware of this in September. The deck loses sun by 11:00 AM because it is blocked by the structure of the building. I threw out my money by renting this condo and will never rent through Evolve again. I requested a full refund which was declined. Due to health concerns, I asked numerous times about the specific chemicals that were used on the couches, but my requests were ignored. Evolve told me that they could not force the owner and manager to share this information. The manager did not respond to my emails so I have to assume that the chemicals are not safe. Do not waste your money renting from Evolve or renting this condo via VRBO.

The condo is beautiful and in the perfect location. The balcony is practically in the ocean! I would stay here again for sure.

Condo was wonderful but that location was amazing!!! Perfect getaway for me and my kids for a few days! Clean, everything you could need, and best of all the amazing views and easy access to the beach. Couldn’t ask for more!

The place was gorgeous and beautifully decorated! Awesome to have linens, towels, etc supplied! Beautiful FRONT seat view of ocean; sitting on the deck was like being on the beach! We loved this location and property. Very convenient to everything, beautiful view!, nice layout, comfortable mattresses and furniture, very clean and up to date and very easy to get any questions answered. It was a great start; we’d love to come back!

Rental was extremely clean, linens were soft as well as towels. Bed was very comfortable as well as couches. Plenty of room in kitchen, only downside is the water pressure. Dishes remained dirty when dishwasher used and I am assuming it was because of the water pressure. We spent our mornings and evenings on the covered deck. The ocean was literally at the tip of your feet. What an amazing view! The beach area has a lot of shells and large rock which was so unique and everyone on the beach seemed to really enjoy exploring this added feature from Mother Nature. We bought fresh seafood everyday from Blackburn Brothers which was delicious and so very fresh. Covid-19 kept us from wanting to eat out but it was really the fact that you couldn’t find a better view then what we had and eating dinner each night outside with the waves crashing was well worth it! We will definitely be back for another stay here.

Was pleasantly surprised to arrive at a newly remodeled condo! Absolutely amazing! The owner thought of everything! If the condo was any closer to the ocean you would be IN the ocean!! This is the perfect location if you desire less crowds, less traffic and very quiet. The only con is the navigation into the garage to park. If residents are parked on the curb, it can be a little tight pulling in!! We will be back!!!!!!!!!

This property was fabulous! We were trying to book another weekend before we left. Two bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable furniture and linens. You will never want to leave the balcony. Recently remodeled with tile throughout. Can’t wait to come back!
