Special and rare because it has everything we were looking for in a great setting. Excellent craftsmanship in the construction and perfect attention to detail. No need to look for instructions on where things are or how to operate anything and meticulous attention to cleanliness and maintenance. No noise or distractions, couldn't think of anything lacking.

A friend and I celebrated our 60th and 80th birthdays, fully enjoying the relaxing comfort of Pete's Place and the surrounding area. The hiking trails across the road were a huge plus. Just a delightful treasure!

Immaculate, well appointed cozy cabin. This gem is a peaceful paradise nestled in the woods on picturesque Whidbey Island. Cozy, warm and inviting. Wonderful hosts. Attention to detail. We wanted for nothing. We will be back.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Pete’s Place Cabin. I was happily surprised that it was exactly as advertised! The cabin was welcoming, clean, had all the amenities for our stay plus a few extras (basket of snacks, etc). I highly reopens it.

Pete’s Place is a wonderful, cozy cabin in a beautiful setting. It’s clean, well appointed and very pretty/handsome. In addition, Chrissy was great in our communications. All-in-all a first-rate stay!

This is the second time I have stayed in this lovely cabin. The setting is very private and peaceful and the property is filled with trees. There are a number of comfortable places to sit outside to enjoy a cup of tea and a book. Inside, the cabin is roomy and very clean with all the amenities you need for either a short or a long stay. Each room, including the kitchen, is a generous size and very, very comfortable. I really enjoyed Putney Woods across the street. Loads of trails and just a great place to walk. I hope to be able to return soon. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when I get the chance to visit Whidbey.

We were welcomed by birds singing and being fed by cute bird feeders on the edge of the property. There were sweet hanging baskets with flowers on the porch, several seating destinations and a firepit ( including the wood and fire starter), snacks, coffee, tea, and all the things we needed and things we didnt know we needed but so grateful were there. LIKE THE SNACKS! haha I was blown away at the kindness that radiates from this sweet well loved and cared for property. I would definitely stay there again, Thank you Chrissy, it was perfect.

This cabin and grounds are perfection! The cabin is very nice, nicely furnished, very clean and stocked with everything you’d ever need. The outside was so relaxing, enjoyed coffee on the wrap around porch in the back and watched deer go thru the yard and different birds at the feeders. Enjoyed the little Humming Bird that flew right up to the kitchen window. I wish we only booked the cabin for a longer stay. Definitely recommend this VRBO and did to local friends who live on Whidbey Island.

Chrissy continues to go above and beyond expectations with this property. My every need was met: coffee, snacks, spotless, clear directions on using the tv, lots of pamphlets for the arepa, strong Wi-Fi, washer and dryer, excellent shower, books to read… I could go on and on. I have been here several times and it never disappoints. I look forward to my next visit.

Pete’s Cabin in Langley is a little piece of paradise. Surrounded by tall pines and visited by various bird species, this log cabin provided a wonderful base for our stay on the island. The space provided was perfect for a retired couple. Weather conditions allowed us to utilize the large deck and take advantage of the fire pit. Just a lovely, relaxing home that we thoroughly enjoyed.

This was not just a cabin. It was a log HOME! Expertly crafted and modern, fully equipped to every detail. Quiet! 12 hrs of sleep 2 nites in a row. Close to Langley and an easy drive to Deception Pass or anywhere Whidbey! Pete’s Cabin surpassed our expectations! I will go back and tell family and friends.

This is a great place for two of us! We love the cleanliness and General surrounding—inside and out!

Our stay at Pete's Place was perfect. The host was very responsive and helpful without being intrusive. The listing was spot on. There were no unpleasant surprises, and we kept finding things that made our stay more pleasant. It was very private, the view from every window was the woods. We could only see one house way off in the distance through the woods and wouldn't have seen it except for a few lights at night, and it was wonderfully quiet. Langly is close enough to run out to for a meal if you didn't want to cook. We wish we could have stayed for another night or two!!

We had a relaxing and great time. The cabin was beautiful and so cozy. Chrissy was a great hostess and had all accommodations to make our stay so comfortable. Chrissy even went out of her way so we could check in early. We definitely will go back to this cabin in the woods. One of the best places I stayed and was such a relaxing weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at Pete's Place. It was clean, secluded, quiet and a beautiful setting. I think the kitchen was better stocked than mine at home and the bath towels were big and fluffy. The log cabin was so tastefully decorated. This is truly a special place. Chrissy was easy to contact and responsive. I just wish it was closer to Oregon. :)

I love staying at this cabin. In fact, it's the only place on the island I would even consider staying in. I tell all my friends to stay there, too. It's a wonderful place all by itself, which is enough, but I also like how easy it is to get from the cabin to anywhere on the island. The only downside is that there always comes the day when I have to get on the ferry and go home.

Pete's Place was very welcoming, comfortable, clean, and all aspects showed great attention to details. In addition, the setting could not have been more beautiful and inviting! It was a perfect getaway for two people!

This was my fourth visit to Pete's Place, and this time I even allowed my husband to come with me. He remarked that he had never seen a better appointed accomodation. Chrissy thinks of everything! My husband even accompanied on a short hike across the street from the cabin (I had already done a longer hike earlier in the day). That was a true miracle!

You will never want to leave. Only problem is that the cabin is a bit isolated. Best VRBO ever!

We arrived on Friday the 3rd and left on Tuesday the 7th. We were so pleased with the location of the cabin. We enjoyed the quiet wooded area. The cabin amenities were on point. We look forward to spending more time at the cabin. Regards The Drews.

This comfortable cabin is surrounded by trees in a very peaceful location. We enjoyed birds and trails in the nearby forest and many scenic beaches and parks on the island.

What a fantastic cabin! The decorations are awesome and the views are unbelievable. Nestled in the deep woods of Langley on Whitby Island, WA, this piece of heaven is surrounded by tall pines and the woods are inhabitated by various birds and creatures. Just minutes from the artistic sea side town and it's delightful attractions, shopping and dining experiences. I had a truly wonderful stay.

I love this place. This was my second stay, and I still relish the comfort and tranquility of the cabin. It has the balance of feeling like it's away from the hustle and bustle, yet just minutes from downtown Langley. Chrissy is a gracious and responsive host. I can't wait to return!
