We stayed here for a quick little get away with some friends. The overall experience was good. Everything was as shown in the listing. The only complaints I have is that there isn’t much in the way of pots/pans AND the shower/bathroom on the main level is really dated. The shower knobs were functional but falling off. I still would book this place again in a heartbeat despite those issues.

Can’t recommend this place more! From the well stocked kitchen to the great beach access to the cleanliness, it was everything it should have been AND MORE! Tropical storm Ophelia hit the night we got there, so we stayed inside for a whole day- they had lots of toys stowed in the closet, and lots of coloring books and crayons and games for our 4 kids! No one got bored!! Kelley was quick to respond to any messages I sent, and I have no doubt if we had problems she would have addressed them immediately. They had great selection of sand toys and kids stuff and chairs umbrella boogie boards etc for the beach, SO nice that we didn’t have to bring that stuff along or go buy it. Playpen was super nice and handy. Having linens provided was SO NICE! The beach access was so perfect and an easy walk back and forth! We have so many good memories and we REALLY hope to stay here again in the years to come!!!

We had a great time, plenty of space for our group of 10 to spread out. Location was perfect for easy access to beaches. We walked on to the beach some days, the house is just steps to the dunes and went to the off road beaches other days just a few minutes drive. Only minor hiccup is the listing said 3 bathrooms but it is only 2 with an nice outdoor shower. We made it work and the extra outdoor shower made it manageable to get 10 people cleaned up after the beach.

We had the best time. The host messaged me with updates (community alerts) when needed. The location was great for beach access and within a short walk. My kids loved staying here. Host communication was clear, friendly and simple.

Wow! I don't what I can say, but Wow! The home is amazing, perfect, everything you'd want in a home away from home. I can't imagine needing anything more than what was already provided. Indoor play toys, games, under the house chalkboard, hot outside shower, 2 living rooms for the kids to watch a movie while we sat and destressed in the other living room, comfy beds, the house, location, and all the accommodations added to our memory making event. The host was super. The home is so clean, very comfortable and up to date. Enjoying morning coffee on the new deck was great too! We are in hopes of booking and coming again. Thank you for everything.

The house is lovely and spacious, the pictures don't do it justice. The best part is the location, a beautiful short walk to a private beach, and the best market in the tri-town area. If you are really into cooking you might want to bring your own pans. The owner was very responsive to an HVAC issue which was resolved in less than a day. I would love to return to this house again.

Great place for a family especially with small kids. So close to the beach, quiet street, and easy access to essentials with a dollar general and waves market 2 minutes away. Neighbors were extremely friendly. New privacy fence around the hot tub was also a nice touch. Our kids felt very at home with toys and games in the closet. Owners were very easy to contact with any questions. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet family beach trip outside of the busy, noisy (bar populated) areas of the outer banks.

We really enjoyed our time at the Nor'easter! We loved all the room we had to spread out, the cleanliness, the hot tub and the amazing location! This is definitely our place to unwind and relax! We are excited for our trip next year to OBX because we know where we want to stay, at the Nor'easter!!!

Great place to stay! My family and I enjoyed our time here. It is very clean and accommodating. Our host communicated wonderfully and made sure we had what we needed. The walking distance to the beach was convenient since my kids were constantly on the go! Would highly recommend!

Great place to stay. Very clean and organized definitely would recommend. Very nice front deck to gather outside. Great location i’m in the middle of everything. Only problem was the lock box at check-in. 10 out of 10 will definitely be rebooking for my family soon

My family & I had a wonderful vacation and stay in Salvo. The cottage was clean & had all of the necessities & amentities needed. We loved the outdoor shower & enjoyed the hot tub and large porch as well. My 2 year old loved all of the toys & beach toys that were provided. Book it & head to ramp 25 to drive on the beach. 😊 We also loved the walkway down to the beach. Such a nice spot.

This property was absolutely amazing. We stayed for 3 nights and it was such a beautiful property. Absolutely spotless and so accommodating. You can feel the love that built this home! The walk to the beach is beautiful! We would definitely stay here again!!

Bring your boards, breaks all week long right down the path

We had a lovely experience at the Nor'easter. The house was clean and well supplied with kitchen utensils, sheets, towels, beach gear, and more. The layout of the house worked great for our two-family get together, with each group having their own "wing" and spacious, shared living and dining areas with plenty of seating. We especially enjoying hanging out on the porch in the late afternoon when it was perfectly shady. The location of the house, on a quite street, just steps away from access to a beautiful, uncrowded beach and a short drive to a public beach on the sound was perfect. A minor issue with a kitchen appliance was resolved quickly with excellent communication from Kelley. We hope to return!

The place and location were perfect for time away to unplug and just enjoy the beach. Kelley was very responsive, and we were very comfortable.

My family and I just checked out from our first trip to OBX! The home fit our 12 comfortably with an additional air mattress that we brought. Location was awesome! The walking path to the beach was easy and beautiful. Our host responded to all our questions quickly and had many great suggestions for the area!! If your looking for a great location in beautiful OBX this won't disappoint!

The house was perfect for us- 4 adults & 4 teenagers. We enjoyed the hot tub at night. The beach is close. We used the beach cart in the shed which made hiking over the sand dune to the beach with all of our stuff easier. I loved the large dinning table. We enjoyed a family style seafood boil together. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and appliances were nice. I liked the location. It’s in the middle and not too far from anything. I feel we got to see a lot of OBX. We went to the fishing pier in Avon, jet skis and arcade in Salvo, putt putt in Nags Head, and Turfs Up in Kill Devil. Unfortunately, we even had to utilize the urgent care for 7 stitches to a foot cut from a rock during one of our excursions. But they were very professional and courteous and got us back on our way quickly. The ocean was rough but we found some great sea shells. We had a great time & a memorable vacation.

The house was spacious and clean, adequately stocked kitchen. Three adults had the upstairs (with bathroom and private balcony) and the family of five (with young kids) had a spacious living area to themselves. Very comfortable for everyone. Loved being just a few houses away from the path over the dunes to the beach. Quiet street. It was a bit of a drive to get to restaurants and points of interest, but the small deli/grocery store on the corner made great sandwiches. Would rent again.
