David was very responsive to our text messages. The condo is very cute and met our needs. Parking could be a little better (very small space), but we managed to park our mid-size SUV just fine. Overall, we had a great stay.

It is exactly as advertised. No hidden surprises. Not a luxury apartment, but it was clean, close to campus, nice view from the balcony, and in a safe area.

We stayed here because our teens had a state competition on the UT campus. It was so close to the event, we didn't have to wake up at a terrible hour. The parking was too tight for our large vehicle but they told us that might be the case in the listing. So we came prepared to pay for parking across the street. We enjoyed our stay. Enough space for a small family or couple traveling.

We stayed for a campus tour and location was great to walk to U of Tennessee as well as downtown. Off street parking next door was perfect. The building is definitely on the older side. So maybe shabby chic is best description. Owner was very responsive to our questions and requests. There was also ample items like soap, paper towels and other supplies for a few nights.

We had an overall good experience. The place is really cute and in a great location. Unfortunately, I would not rent from him again. I'm not confident in the cleaning service he uses. Upon arrival I rushed straight to the restroom only to find that someone had already taken a #2 in the toilet. I contacted the owner, and offered to send a picture stating it makes me nervous about other items being cleaned like the sheets. To which he replied he wanted the picture because he's used her for 4 years and she "spent a lot of time there this morning". after initially offering to send her back over to clean, he stated he would deal with it after we checked out. That was extremely disappointing. I found this distasteful and purchased sheets from Kohls. Along with the feces in the toilet, there was dirt on the bottom of the bathtub, dirty pillow cases on the floor, and cob webs on the fake plants. I can't imagine anyone "spending a lot of time" cleaning a small apartment and it remain so unclean. I'm not recommending you don't stay here per se, but I would bring sheets and any cleaning supplies you'd need if you are a germ-aphobe or OCD about cleanliness. Otherwise, the place would have been perfect.

This is a great location if you do not want to drive to visit the downtown area but want away from the busy parts. The biggest challenge for us was bedding. We had four people originally and while we were sad one friend couldn’t come, it worked out because we were unsure how to get all four of us comfortably sleeping (there is a couch and fold out so if you have more than two, you will definitely fit, but depending on your party members’ needs/sleeping preferences, it may not be ideal). Overall, we were pleased as we were able to easily visit downtown without having to drive and the view was beautiful. I really appreciated the detailed check in/out communication that allowed us to come and go with ease.

Picture on VRBO are really good, property is old. Could use some TLC The bed is tough! As an owner of rental Property beds are the most important things for guest next to location. Loved that it was down by the river and walkable! Had to go out and buy coffee filters. After parking and thinking we were good. Couch/pillows need a cleaning smells like diary heads.. We would stay again tho if concerns were addressed.

The property is in a great location. Easy access to I75 and I40. The apartment is small but cozy. Parking was very convenient. The building and apartment are in need of maintenance. Understand this is an old building. The apartment itself has some plumbing maintenance issues. As far as cleanliness, the surfaces were clean. However, the floors were not. My socks were dirty and full of dog hair, and we do not have a dog. We feel it was overpriced for what we got.

Great location,close to lots of Knoxville iconic attractions.Beautiful views,right on the river,with wonderful places to walk and enjoy the surroundings.Kitchen very well appointed,clean,and inviting to use.Apartment had cherry,vintage ambiance.Our stay was very enjoyable,and we would definitely stay here again.

Great location for exploring a new city for us. Close walk to the SuSphere and Market Square. Apartment very clean, and had amenities for our 2 night stay---everything we needed. David was responsive to pre-arrival questions, available by text as needed! Even with traffic nearby, no inconvenience at all! Felt safe and loved the outdoor patio. Saw snowflakes this morning! Happy Winter! Be Safe! Great accommodation! Would definitely visit again!!!

A perfect location to walk to restaurants and shops.

We loved our stay!!! It was a quiet building with the perfect location. You can walk to pretty much anywhere or Uber. It’s a beautiful city and the views from the balcony were just amazing! It was clean and had everything we needed! We will definitely be back! Thank you!!

From the outset, the host was proactive, super-responsive, and helpful. Quaint, historic apartment in the best location I’ve seen in Knoxville - tailgating practically in the backyard. Crawling distance from downtown and Market Square. A couple steps down to Neyland, then the easiest walk you can imagine to the stadium, Calhoun’s, and the Vol Navy. The sunrise over the river was icing on the cake.

Knoxville is very hilly, luckily this apartment was pretty close to everything so it made the walking bearable. River walk and views were excellent.

Lovely 2 nights, 3 days in Knoxville in a noted historic building with a great view of Tennessee river! Convenient to restaurants, shops, beautiful homes and churches. Rental offered all the comforts of home while being on the road. Parking convenient as well! Check in was flawless! Mary M

We stayed here for the weekend while visiting our daughter and attending a football game. The location was a perfect middle ground between downtown and UT campus. The condo had everything we needed. We would stay here again.

Perfect location! Right near the river!!

We loved the location; able to walk to Market Square despite hubby possibly suffering from long-covid, and also explored Smoky Mtns, Gatlinburg, & Pigeon Forge since the drive was <2 hrs away (want to say about an hour away but cant remember for sure). Building is quiet. Was able to wash clothes (<$2 each machine). Host was very responsive when I texted to double-check something in the instructions. Would def stay here again.

Character. Loved the ceiling tile in bedroom. Mattress and pillows needed to be replaced. The air units were noisy, not like white noise. Location was great. Loved the outside seating on deck. Very relaxing. Would stay again with bedding upgrades

Where to start? We both loved this place. Just follow the provided directions about how to find the place and enter, you'll have no problem. Other people complained of noise, it's not noisy here. You'll have an occasional loud truck, that's it. The view is wonderful, the apartment is amazing. The age and history of the building is what makes this rental so unique. Modern touches inside a very old building. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and we will again. I just hope for longer next time. This apt is convenient to most everything, easy to find, easy to get in and out of. Perfect place to stay if you're visiting the convention center, as it's an extremely short walk to it. 10/10 for this place!!

This place was so unique and offered a very relaxing weekend for my husband and I. While it was near several busy roads, it did not feel like we were in the middle of the city. We loved being able to watch the sunrise over the river from the bedroom and enjoy a relaxing evening on the back deck. Everything was very clean and had all of our cooking needs. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to the Knoxville area.

My husband spent weekend for our anniversary. The apartment was cozy with nice view of the river from the bedroom. Kitchen was well stocked. The location was great. Many things in walking distance, such as Market Square. Also, near free trolley stop if you do not want to walk.

Very nice clean place to stay within minutes of great food and venues. It was so nice after a concert to walk maybe 10 min and be back in your place. Very charming - we would stay here again.

We used this VRBO as our home base as we explored Knoxville and the surrounding area. The property was perfect! The age of the building gave the apartment tons of character. The location is awesome- we parked the car and we’re able to safely walk everywhere. The pictures and description are very accurate. The apartment was clean and check in/out was very easy. Communication with the owner was very simple also. 5 stars and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Charming older building. Great kitchen! Nice tub. The bed way too soft for me. Loved the stay.
