This is not your average rental property. The space is palatial. You will feel like Scarlet O’Hara descending the grand staircase in the foyer. Most importantly the house has everything you need to be comfortable. We had local friends visit us there. There is plenty of room for a gathering inside and on the patio if desired. All the kitchen basics are at the ready, as are plenty of towels, and comfortable furniture. The check-in/out procedure was simple and direct, not overly fussy. The home is located very close to shopping and fantastic restaurants at every price point. Try the City Cafe right around the corner. We went downtown several times and found the commute to be reasonably easy. As a bonus, our little dog was permitted to come. He loved having plenty of room to frolic. The backyard is fenced but be aware a small dog could escape if he’s the sneaky sort. The owner is 100% hands-on. He answered my queries immediately and politely. In a moment of ridiculous oversight on my part, I left behind a suitcase of essentials. We were nearing home when the owner texted to let me know I left it and then volunteered to mail it to me. I’m profoundly grateful. My only regret is that I couldn’t take the ultilty room and upstairs dressing room home with me. Such nice features.

We were here and week and loved it. My kids said they thought it was a mansion :-). The experience was amazing and we would absolutely stay again. David was very easy to work with and accommodating.

We completely enjoyed our stay at David's house. Was well furnished and we felt right at home. We had never been to Louisiana and were keen on visiting and exploring. We used the house as our base to explore. We visited several plantations, LSU's campus as well as downtown Baton Rouge. Great location for this home to branch out and explore. This was the greatest place we have ever stayed at. Very comfortable, we could not have chosen a better place to stay if we would have drove down here from Iowa and handpicked a place. Great location and very safe neighborhood. You can't go wrong

David hosted us for almost a month while we waited to close on our house, and also through Hurricane Ida. He was easy to get in touch with, understanding and willing to help when needed. The space was more than enough to meet our needs and made us feel at home in Baton Rouge before we had a home. Convenient location, great backyard and plenty of space!!

Well furnished spacious home!

From the moment we entered, we immediately felt at home. Only thing missing was the pool. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The owner's retreat, upstairs, is VERRRRY spacious. Would love to return during the winter months to cozy up to the fireplace. Would I stay here again? DEFINITELY!! Never once did we have to worry about our safety as the neighborhood is quite lovely. Location is very convenient to shopping, retail, and lot's of restaurants,

This was a great property for my family, plenty of space for everyone to have their own bedroom plus an office where we were able to set up the Pack n Play. The location was perfect as we were visiting family who live in the same neighborhood. The property owner was very flexible when our flights were changed by the airline. When we arrived, the internet/cable was not working d/t a bad storm the night before. The owner was very responsive and immediately had it working after making a call to the service provider. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Baton Rouge!

Location and house amenities were everything we needed for our family vacation however the inside of this house was the dirtiest we have ever stayed in. It was evident within minutes of walking in the door at 10pm after a 14 hour drive this house had not been cleaned properly. Dust on ceiling fans, dirty carpets, food of the floors, and hair on floors/counters/everywhere throughout the entire house. This house needs a deep cleaning before recommending to stay here.

David help us always on time with our request. House is located near everything, pretty neighborhood, secure. We will stay again for sure!

Great place an Great guy

Unfortunately the house wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked it to be. The stairs were lined with carpet and very dirty. The downstairs bathroom toilet did not look clean. Just about every dish I went to use had old food still on the dishes so I had to clean them before every use. A lot of the light bulbs in the house were out and the heaters in the upstairs bathroom didn’t work (only attempted to use them because we stayed during the coldest week of the year). Not that anyone is to blame, but when we first arrived the door that contained a keypad to lock the door didn’t work and by the end of our stay there was a leak under the kitchen sink that leaked all onto the floor and continued to drip until we left. Overall the house was nice and in a great area, the only downside was that the house wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked it to be for the price I paid. The owner was very nice, responded quickly, and dealt with the keypad and sink leak appropriately.

We had a great time staying in this gorgeous large home. Home had all the amenities and was very comfortable. Excellent communication with owner and he was very accommodating. Will be back.

Large home with nice furnishings located in the East part of Baton Rouge.

We stayed here for temporary housing while relocating from another area. This place was great for our family. The house felt almost like home. We had everything we needed.

This home is absolutely breathtaking. Very spacious! The jacuzzi tub was delightful following a day of walking. Everyone great enjoyed the ice cream maker! We will definitely rent again when we are down that way! The owner was very quick to respond and always kind and helpful.

We had family from Florida, Texas, and Illinois all meet for Thanksgiving here. It is a large house with ample parking, a big kitchen, and was the perfect place to have everyone together. David's communication was top notch. We will be staying again next time we visit our daughter at LSU.

We enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our pre-Thanksgiving family dinner with our Baton Rouge family.

David was great, super communicative and easy going. House was as described and in good condition. Bring hangers for clothes if needed. Also the master bedrooms mattress is in bad shape, if you have a bad back stay down stairs. Everything else was perfect!

This is a super nice house. The entire second floor is the master suite with an incredible master bath and huge walk in closet. Really a beautiful home. We enjoyed our short stay and would definitely recommend this place. The price was great for the amount of house you get. Would be perfect for a big group or family get together.

David responded immediately to our questions and requests. It is a beautiful property. Our two grandchildren are 4 and 18 months, so the double staircase to the master bedroom was not perfect for us, but would be otherwise! Thank you David!
