I liked the location, view from room, cozy feel, liked the porch sitting at night, the open floors down stairs were nice, guests were friendly, kitchen open all night,
rooms were not soundproof,overpriced for what you got

This place is magical! I had no idea when I booked how gorgeous it would be! Our room, The Cardinal, was beautifully decorated, super cozy and offered an amazing view! The weeping willow tree and swing out front were icing on the cake!! We will most definitely be back!
The breakfast was ok. I expected a little more from a bed and breakfast than you get at a chain hotel. Otherwise, everything was wonderful!

The breakfast was a very good continental breakfast. The location was excellent; within walking distance of downtown Hot Springs.
I really liked how comfortable and historic the lodge felt. I felt very comfortable in all common areas of the lodge, including the dining room, library, sitting room, gardens and communal fire pit by the hostel. Everything was exceptionally clean and well cared for, which I appreciated.

Old and noisy AC for such a small room, plus somebody played piano at 8.30 am on Sunday, better to play at 8.30pm

Such a lovely place. All the little details made our stay truly special. Very friendly staff. We had a fanatic stay and will stay there again.

Cozy mountain inn near the AT in the middle of the Smokies. Quiet, walking distance to main street in Hot Springs.

I loved the atmosphere. It was very peaceful and well taken care of which is exactly what I was looking for during my bday weekend.The staff was great and constantly checking to Mae sure everything was good . I also loved the views and outdoor spaces available to relax

The Laughing Heart is in a beautiful location! Our room was spacious, we were well taken care of… the Laughing Heart is a great place to relax,reflect and unwind!

Great location right next to the trailhead. Lovely atmosphere.
Might be very noisy on busy nights as the walls a paper thin.

This is more for the owners than us, but the sign of Laughing Heart is literally falling apart (at the entrance) and that is sad welcoming indeed to such a sweet place.
