"Skylands" House was perfect for me, my husband and our 6 teenage grandchildren. The kids all wanted to stay downstairs so we had empty bedrooms! The teenagers loved the pool table and ping pong and we all went swimming nearby. The house is well decorated and furnished and most comfortable. My communications with the owner was friendly, easy and most positive. We would love to return in a few years with more grands.

The property is beautiful and Vicki is a fantastic host!! Tons of communication with us. We had a great time.

This was an amazing location! The house had everything we needed. Lots of seating to accommodate the large family we brought. And the lake being right down the street was perfect for fishing with the whole group. The proximity to both the Highlands and Clayton was perfect for our holiday weekend adventures! Will definitely be back!

My family had a wonderful week at Vicki’s mountain home. On rainy days, we played ping pong, billiards, and enjoyed the wood burning fireplace! Vicki is delightful! She is responsive and engaging. We enjoyed our experience from start to finish!

Nice large home that accommodated 11 (5 adults, 6 kids) of us comfortably! Vicki was so prompt in her communications and proactively had sent all the information we needed well in advance of our stay. We loved the big deck out back and overall had a great stay!

Could not be happier with our choice to stay at this property. Vicki was fantastic! She even offered suggestions when she learned of things we were interested in doing while in the area. My husband lost a hearing aid, so she asked her cleaning person to be on the lookout. Happily, it was found there & being sent to us. The property itself was just as we expected and worked beautifully for our family of 10 plus 3 month old. It was clean & though we brought everything we thought we'd need, it was well stocked. Beds were comfortable as well. Doesn't matter how lovely a property is if you cannot rest well. Thank you for the use of your lovely home.

We had a great stay at Vickis home. She was such a great host and was so accommodating with our arrival and departure times. The cabin had everything we could have needed. The kitchen was completely stocked. There were plenty of cozy blankets for us to use. We loved the pool table and ping pong table for the kids to play when it was rainy. Such a beautiful view off the back patio. We would absolutely return if we’re ever back in this area again. Thank you for such a great experience all around!

What an incredible house in an amazing location! House was perfect for our family gathering. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, meals in the kitchen, pool and ping pong tournaments. Vicki was great, she gave us many recommendations from hiking to zip lining to the mountain coaster to dining and shopping in Highlands. Awesome experience, we can’t wait to go back.

Blessings Galore
We had a wonderful long weekend at this property. Everything was as stated in the listing. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the beautiful home playing games, watching movies and, spending time together in the open spaces. We enjoyed hiking, fishing, and we were even blessed to be able to build a snowman! Just fabulous!!! It was a pleasure working with Vicky.

Great experience
The house was very nice and very clean! Kitchen was pretty stocked up. The rooms were perfect for our family. Vicki - the owner was very responsive and answered all of my questions every time I called. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood and beautiful view! There is also a lot to do on the resort - Tennis courts, pickleball courts, playground for the children and good hiking trails! Great place!

Wonderful visit
We live in Atlanta, and this was the perfect property for my family's pre-Thanksgiving trip. Only a short drive away, but you feel like you are in a completely different place. The house is beautiful! There is so much to do at the house and around Dillard. We had a great time!

Perfect Anniversary Trip
My husband and I celebrated our 8th anniversary at this wonderful house. We loved the location. We ventured out to Highlands several times for shopping and dinner, had dinner in Clayton, and in Dillard, and went horseback riding at Dillard House Stables. We loved the little catch and release fishing pond behind the property and caught several fish. The place itself was very cozy and had everything we needed to cook and eat in. The pool and ping pong tables were and added bonus. Vicki was great to work with, always so responsive if we had a question and so helpful in recommending restaurants and grocery stores. Thank you for a trip we will always remember!

Wonderful weekend getaway!
We had such a great time staying at this house! It was the first vacation that we've had in a long time in which we returned home feeling truly rested and rejuvenated. The house is just as pictured and the neighborhood is quiet and serene. Our kids loved using the bedrooms downstairs where the pool table and ping pong tables are, and they could stay up as late as they wanted without bothering the adults upstairs. We all enjoyed the view from the porch and the wonderful wood-burning fireplace!

This was a great place to stay. It was spacious, well appointed and extremely comfortable. I loved that there was a master bedroom on each floor. That way we could separate by family and each family had their own private space. The hosts were kind and accessible. We can't wait to go back!

Sky Valley Mountain Haven
This 5/4 was a perfect choice for our family of 9, 6 adults and 3 children under 12. The game rooms with pool and ping pong tables were a real add for our family contest in the evenings. The experienced owners went above and beyond to meet our needs and respond to things that came up along the way. On a scale of 10 the owners and this property are a 12. We will definately be back. Sky Valley golf and ammenities were a plus.

Very clean, great communication with the owner, well appointed, and comfortable for a large group! Easy access to the surrounding outdoor activities, too. Rabun Bald hike is very close to this home. It’s not for the faint of heart, but the view is very worth the effort!

Something for Everyone
We were here to celebrate my husband’s birthday plus Father’s Day with kids and grands - the house is spacious with plenty of room offering play areas for those wanting a game of pool or ping pong plus areas to relax for those with less energy! Layout of the house works so well! Highly recommend this property as it’s spacious, well appointed, comfy beds and owners who are very helpful. We will come again!!

Superb Property
During our ten-night stay, our extended family of nine occupied each of the five bedrooms. While impressive photos are featured on VRBO, it failed to capture the scale of the property. It is more spacious than anticipated. We cooked daily and therefore relied heavily on the extremely well stocked kitchen. The back porch became a second living room as it offers impressive vistas, comfortable seating and serenity. The lower level was another expansive area with well utilized billiards and ping pong tables. Finally, the owners are superb. Vicki responded to my many questions in an extremely expedient manner, and her helpful suggestions made our stay exceptionally enjoyable. Looking forward to a second stay.
