It is especially clean, perfectly accommodating, very comfortable for family gatherings, well-stocked, and conveniently located to Harrisonburg.
The owner takes great care and attention to detail making sure the renters have everything they need. The owner is also communicative and available if needed.
Highly recommend this property.

My siblings, cousins, and our children meet halfway between southwest VA and PA for an extended weekend “reunion” annually. This property met all of our needs and exceeded any expectations we may have had! The kitchen and dining area were spacious and accommodated our nightly family dinners with ease. The game room provided endless entertainment for both the kids and adults. SUPER CLEAN! Plenty of space indoor and out! Gazillions of games!! Great outdoor space with fire pit, picnic table & corn hole boards. I could go on forever with all the positives! I can’t think of any downsides to mention. Our host was attentive to detail, went the extra mile to welcome us, but was not overbearing and did not drop in like some owners do! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This property is where we will continue to meet for years to come! ❤️❤️❤️

We had a wonderful vacation at this home. The home was clean and spacious. It had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was fast and check-in was easy. The game room was a hit for our group. The property was peaceful and scenic.

This was our second time staying here for a race at the western slopes. It is fantastic location with a great set up for our families. This is a 5 minute drive to the western slopes for mountain biking and a 5 minute drive to the heart of Harrisonburg. We will be booking this again in the future. Mike had great communication and even shipped my daughter’s stuffed animal that we accidentally left.

Our Robotics Team stayed here for a weekend competition. Nothing could have been better, everything was perfect. The host had awesome communication from before, during and after our stay and everything was ready for our stay. We already know where we will be staying next year!

The house was extremely clean and provided for all our needs! The game room was a blast and provided for a lot of fun and laughter. Bedrooms were comfortable and provided privacy. Kitchen allowed us all to sit together to eat and play cards. The location was great! The owner was super responsive and helpful! We will be back!

Mark is very responsive and assisted with all our questions. He had the baby gate up and high chair ready for infant.
Overall, it is a great property. Our boys loved the arcade room as well as the swing and hammock. The location is perfect- so close to everything in Harrisonburg and only 15 mins from Massanutten. Nice setting for fire pits at night.

totally enjoyed our family vacation at the house ... location was great, communication was great, house was great ... I don't usually give 5 star ratings but this was a 5+ star rating!!! Mark was an awesome host ... communication was top notch ... the house was super clean! and, there were supplies for almost everything we needed. It is always pure joy to have your family stay at a VRBO that is meticulously and passionately cared for by its owner! This near-Massanutten retreat is beautifully maintained, ultra-clean, and contains any all amenities one could ever require while on vacation! My family loved this home, while using it as home base for travel to Massanutten. The owner cares! Communication is superb and we were welcomed warmly with a personal sign, setting the tone for a perfect 3 days! Forget those expensive condos at Massanutten — THIS the vacation home for your family while exploring the resort!

One of the best rental properties we've stayed at. There was enough room for the seven of us to not be on top of each other. The game room and fire pit area were great. We would definitely rent this property again for a family gathering.

We had a wonderful stay! Mark was quick to respond with any questions. We were in town for a race at the western slopes which was 5 minutes away. What is also great is that this property is also 5 minutes from town. The game room was fantastic for the older kids and including a baby gate and pack & play made our stay that much better. If you’re looking for a weekend at the western slopes and outside trails this is a great option.

Mark was an excellent host and communicator throughout our stay (& even afterwards when we left a few items behind).
The property was immaculately clean and the kitchen was incredibly well supplied…above and beyond the usual pots & pans (crock pot, air fryer, and more).
The game room was fabulously fun and the yard games (corn hole, basketball, football & more) were terrific.
The home is located amongst tranquil rolling hills, but still under 5 miles to major grocery stores, shopping and less than 10 minutes to downtown Harrisonburg.
Truly a gem of a property and a fabulous host!

We had the most amazing stay at this perfect house. We went to celebrate our daughter's birthday since she wasn't able to come home... brought the whole family from my 6 year old grandson to my 89 year old father! There was something for everyone and plenty of space.
The house itself was beautiful. It felt like you were in the middle of nowhere but only minutes for everything! Extremely clean and well cared for. The game room was an added bonus that the grandson's LOVED! I barely saw them the whole visit.
A great plus was the driveway since we had family coming at different times. We were able to have my elderly parents walk right in the back door and stay on the top level without any issue or dealing with stairs.
The house had everything we needed... well stocked kitchen and great amenities.
I want to go back again and again!

Our weekend getaway with 3 generations of family was amazing! This home has it all. Super clean, plenty of rooms, multiple spaces to gather and relax. Towels and linens included, fully stocked kitchen and many extras. We had so much fun in the game room and enjoyed the firepit and BBQ grill. Close to town, shops, restaurants, and JMU. Oh, and there is a view too! Thanks to our host Mark for maintaining this beautiful home and providing a stress free booking/rental experience. We hope to return again soon!!

From start to finish, booking this property went very well. We had special requests and this property was perfect. The owner was a blessing to work with. Great communication. Property was beyond what was expected. In the country but close to everything. The 90th birthday party was a tremendous Lessing for our Sad. Honestly don’t have words or room to say what this weekend meant and largely in part of the home you shared with us. Thank you!!!
