This was our second stay at the Carlton and the third time we have stayed with Talia and Gabi. And, as usual, everything was perfect. From the happy birthday goodies to a quick text to walk us through the television, my husband and I felt welcomed and pampered! The property is clean and comfortable! If you are going to Mt. Dora, stay with them! You will not be disappointed!

Our stay at the Carlton was perfect. The unit was clean, spacious and well laid out. The washer and dryer came in handy. The locationof the Carlton was a short walk to the downtown historic area of Mount Dora. Talia was very quick to respond to my emails. I highly recommend staying at the Carlton.

Have been to Mount Dora before & wanted to stay close to town & in a nice place. The Carlton is all of that and more, it is a short 5 minute walk to the center of town and it is a 5 star place to stay. You are close enough to enjoy the town and all it has to offer and you are just far enough away to get the quietness that you are needing. We will definitely be back in the the fall!!!

The Franklin is a perfectly appointed home located within walking distance to all that Mount Dora has to offer. This is our second time staying at one of Talia’s rentals and we have had nothing but good experiences. The setup with the bedroom downstairs and it’s own wet bar and the pull out sofa upstairs with its own half bath was the ideal accommodation for our party. We look forward to returning!

What a perfect property for a visit to Mt. Dora! So close to everything, adorable neighborhood, and host Talia to help with whatever you need! Clean, so clean, well-decorated (I took notes for our next remodel!), amenities galore. Wine on arrival, soaps, shampoo, fluffy towels, extra pillows, comfortable sofa and chair, Keurig coffeemaker (with K cups!). The hard-bound book with all the important info is a nice touch because it’s easy to find and pretty, too! All in all, a really relaxing stay, but too short, so we will be back!

We stayed two years ago in the adjacent property, the delightful Ingram . This visit we equally enjoyed the quality of Carlton, and especially its western exposure—a bit more private and more sunshine. We’d move into this lovely yellow house if we could!

We love these properties - all of them that are part of the Someplace Special in Mount Dora group. The perfect location, the perfect comfort level, the perfect cleanliness, the perfect decor, the wonderful treats, and the absolutely perfect hostess, Talia. We live close by but always feel like we have a great time there and come home refreshed after a relaxing, beautiful stay. A getaway without all of the other hassles related to long distance travel. Thank you for another perfect local stay!

I've been to Mount Dora many times before. Stayed at different locations each time. This is by far the nicest VRBO out of all of them. The property is clean inside and out. Most places in this area are usually very dated inside. The Carlton is a beautifully and tastefully remodeled home. Loved staying here. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again. They also have a property directly next door which I'm sure is just as nice.

My husband and I had a wonderful time and thought that the house was clean and had everything we needed. Very quiet neighborhood and is walking distance to some of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. We will definitely be staying here again. Great house and great town.

We were ready for a quick get-away and chose Mount Dora. The property was so lovely and true to the description. We loved the location, close to everything and enjoyed the charming town and surrounding area.
The check in/ check out process was easy and Talia, our host, followed up with us to see if we needed anything or if she could be of any assistance. Great experience and would absolutely recommend this Mount Dora rental!

It truly is somethng special...
Beautiful fully appointed and clean condo with all the comforts of home. A very short walk to the center of town. Nice and safe neighborhood with a bonus that we could bring our small dog. We really appreciated the extra half bath and washer and dryer. Talia was very responsive and helpful during our stay. We would definitely stay there again!

Excellence and beyond!
Absolutely exceptional condo; superb in cleanliness, decor, comfort and amenities. Host is easy to contact and responds quickly. Amenities include extras that cover everything. We celebrated a wonderful anniversary and were welcomed with a lovely charcuterie treat from our host. Very walkable to downtown. Delighted & would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you again, Talia for making our visit so memorable.

Christmas Perfect
This place is adorable! Upon arrival we were greeted with a yummy Charcuterie box. This place is so well designed and charming. Just a lovely short walk to the center of town. I will definably be returning.

I have visited Mount Dora every year for 20 years and this was my best experience. The condo was extremely clean, comfortable and I’m the best location. We loved it!!!

We had a very relaxing short get away
We loved the cute cottage and so beautifuly decorated and high end finishes. Loved the side patio with the high patio chairs. Was able to watch some great movies. Enjoyed being able to walk to Restaurants. Loved it!!

Completely updated, very clean unit with all the comforts from home. The location is excellent with bars and restaurants all within walking distance. If you are looking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the big city this is the place for you. Definitely will be back.

Mt Dora Weekend Getaway
Had a fantastic weekend checking out Mt Dora! The location was perfect ... just a quick walk to all the shops, bars, restaurants & lake. The actual rental was just as advertised ... very updated & clean & very comfortable! The bed was probably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in of any rental ... seriously!

Great location and just beautiful
The house is just perfect in all aspects, the bed was very comfortable, great bathroom and shower, the kitchen is small but with all the necessities. Everything very clean and walking to downtown was just 3 blocks The details inside are great. Loved being able to bring our dog,. Wished there was better cell phone or at least a strong WiFi signal .. but the TV in the room did not loose network connection.. so it was all good :)
