The cabin was beautiful at some point but a lack of good management, upkeep, and care have taken are out of her glory days. Upon arrival we noticed the wine fridge downstairs did not work, wall controls for the indoor fire place not workin, out door fireplace not starting, and the second hot tub not working. We called in tickets for the fireplaces and hot tub. Guy told us how to manually turn on the interior fireplace, fixed the outdoor pilot, and said the second hot tub was workin (even thought when we got there it read 85 and drop 84). The next morning we woke up to the tub colder. We also found women’s lashes in our sheets. The are right about the towels. Motel 6 prob has better towels. They are paper towel thin, I’m a 6-2 man weighing 210. The towel wouldn’t even wrap around my waist. Also another bed kept breaking becuase of bad wooden slats. We called the hot tub in again and the bed. Guy came out and said he didn’t have the parts for the hot tub. Put some screws into the end to fix it. After highlighting these items, the only email I received was “sorry no one came out yesterday”. We come to BB 2-3 a year since 2018. We have stayed at numerous cabins. None of which has anyone been dissatisfied until this trip. Do yourself a favor, read the reviews, there’s are too many options out there to settle for what we experienced. With the right management and love this cabin can be what it should be.

Relaxing

We loved staying here. The only issue we had was there weren't enough towels, and no shampoo in the bathrooms. Otherwise it was a perfect place to reconnect and bond with family.

Nice cabin, loved the layout and floorplan and overall we had a great time but based on the rent charged we were disappointed and underwhelmed as it lacked some amenities we’ve enjoyed at other cabins in Broken Bow: Broken Keurig coffee maker. We had to buy one at Walmart to use the k-cups we brought with us. No hangers. Had to buy some at Walmart. No facial tissues. Cheap bath/shower towels were too small and thin (the hot tub beach towels were nicer, bigger and softer. No throw blankets for snuggling in sitting area/great room. No extra blankets for the beds. Beds had just a light weight bed spread. Cheap thin bed sheets and pillows. Pool table was worn out. Some of the bumper cushions were broken. The knobs/handles on the kitchen cabinets were sticky and gross. We had to wipe them down. Low water pressure in showers.

- #1 challenge is the wifi is very spotty and never worked consistently during our stay. - some of the basic items such as pot holders, big towels for bathrooms, etc. were not provided so best to add that criteria into the listing if not planned to change for general planning needs. Overall, the cabin itself is excellent for large gatherings and if the wifi connectively is improved upon, everything else was minor nits.

CONS: It's no fun to have to fix things on the property, before you can enjoy your SHORT stay. The main problems are in my title. The oven SMOKES and is not usable. We couldn't cook our food. Both Wi-Fi boxes were dead; It took us a day and SEVERAL calls to get it running. Sadly, we had ANTS on the counter / our food on day 1. Even with spray and an ant motel, they were there for 4 days. An upstairs TOILET is leaking down to the bathroom below it. Someone slipped on the urine on the floor. PROS: The bathrooms are gorgeous! :)

Only sleeps 24. Two of the TV’s didn’t work. Vice grips used to stop 2 bath barn doors. Cloth patio furniture was stained/dirty. The sink was cracked. 2 eyes on the grill inoperable. Both twin top trundle beds had weak and faulty slats. Both beds collapsed at a touch. Air mattress was broken. There were other minor problems. With all this, the cabin was spacious. Toiletries were provided. Outstanding air conditioning and the balconies were awesome.

The only bad thing is not enough time. Everything was perfect. Beautiful cabin with all of the extras.
