Such a cute cottage in the middle of everything. Cozy and just like home. Can't wait to go back!

My husband and I spent Thanksgiving in this charming little cottage. It is less than a block off the main square of Ellijay and we enjoyed being so close to the charming little town we love so much! The house was neat, clean and well equipped for our stay. We cooked a full Thanksgiving meal and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook such a large meal. The decor was warm and inviting. The beds were some of the most comfortable we've slept in while vacationing. We enjoyed sunny afternoons on the porch with our pups. This is on our top 5 list of places to stay in Ellijay and we look forward to staying here again!

Met expectations

I booked this property as an alternative to a hotel for a business colleague and myself. It had everything we needed that a hotel could provide, and more, but at a fraction of the cost of two hotel rooms. We each had a bedroom and an ensuite bathroom and being in the town centre area all our other requirements were met. We had a very late arrival (early hours of the morning after a tiresome journey and the lights were on to welcome us as we arrived. Excellent quality property, shame we weren’t tourists.

Rest and Recover…

We were happy with our accommodations, within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The home was nice and clean. Only issues were no back porch light for nights taking out my little dogs for potty. Also the rug was so slippery I rolled it up and put it out of the way. We took the train in Blue Ridge on Saturday and unfortunately my gf fell and busted her lip and front teeth so we ended up leaving 3 days early. ☹️ happily she is okay.

Well, our stay was pleasant even though we didn’t get to stay where we had originally booked. The place we booked had a maintenance emergency, but the property manager arranged for us to stay elsewhere and it turned out to be charming and very comfortable.

Great property, exactly what we were looking for. Visiting daughter & grandkids in area. Great location, within short walking distance to downtown Ellijay with many great places to eat & shop. Only changes I would suggest 1) need ceiling fans in bedrooms, with doors closed gets a bit stuffy. 2) House sleeps four but only two chairs on front porch. We spent a fair amount of time on porch in morning and evening. Had to carry two chairs from kitchen for other two guests. Will probably stay again in the future!

We have stayed at the property previously. We will stay there again! The location is excellent. Description of the property on VRBO is accurate. Everybody in the town is friendly. Don’t miss the Saturday Farmers Market.

From registering, renting, the arrival, and the entire stay was easy, relaxing, and a joy. Even though it was a quick trip to Ellijay for my husband’s Uncle’s funeral it was still an enjoyable trip. This quaint little cabin made us comfortable and able to rest when not with family. We will definitely look to book it again!

This property was great. The house is absolutely beautiful. Our only complaint is that there are no lights outside except on the front porch. Coming in at dark with no street lights or lights in the backyard made parking and taking our puppies out very difficult. Other than that our stay was perfect!!!

Close to all areas for a day trip.

We really enjoyed staying here. Especially liked being in town with easy access to restaurants. Very convenient.

We had a delightful stay. We had an emergency and had to cut the trip shorter than what we had planned. That’s life. We hope to return in the future. Enjoyed Ellijay and the cabin was gorgeous!

The best part of my stay was location. Blocks away from all that historic downtown Ellijay has to offer.

This is the second time that we stayed at this property and we plan to stay there the next time.

Great houe in a great location

Charming remodeled older home in a great location in downtown Elijay in easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Very clean with a well-appointed kitchen. Loved the decor. Will definately stay there again.

My friend and I recently went for a girls trip celebration. The first night/morning, we had to make a trip to the ER because my friend had an allergic reaction to the bed throw pillows and had trouble breathing and was wheezing very badly. Thankfully, they were able to treat her right away at the ER. I too woke up very congested with I believe the same allergic reaction to the bed throw pillows in my room. Neither one of us felt bad in the living room or kitchen area. We did not get home from the ER until around 6AM on 12/18 and then went to bed which interrupted our original plans for the day. After some shopping in downtown Ellijay, we returned to the rental and realized we were locked out because the lock battery was dead. The property manager staff quickly went into action to help. About an hour later, we were able to get into the rental and began trying to find a ride to a winery to celebrate my friend's birthday. After an hour and a half of trying to find a ride and giving out our address to companies who backed out of the trip, I ended up just driving the both of us there to grab a glass of wine before the winery closed down. The trip definitely did not go as planned. You can't beat the location, but I will not be booking again. For those booking and going wine tasting - be sure to plan ahead for transportation!

Over all nice place and was happy with the location

The house was immaculate with a very well stocked kitchen. The linens were nice quality. The furniture in the during area was not comfortable. Great location to walk to shops and restaurants in Ellijay

Loved the in-town bungalow. Well stocked kitchen, super clean and comfy beds. Great place for our 9year old “puppy”. Quiet neighbors, walkable to “downtown” Ellijay, and a perfect location to stage as we supported our daughter through her last few days of thru-hiking the AT southbound. Couldn’ have asked for a better stay! Thanks. Highly recommend it.

Property was easily accessible, well maintained and very clean. It was just the girls this trip, and we loved that there were no narrow up-hill back-roads to navigate getting to the property. What it lacked in view (and that wasn't bad either) it made up for in convenience. We loved that we could walk to the downtown area, and walk right back if we forgot something or were ready for a rest. We spent an entire day in the downtown area and could have spent another day there but our trip was on 2-days. Day 2 was Blue Ridge and it only was only a 20 minute to drive away. We kept commenting to each other about how friendly the shop owners and residents were. Everyone was so genuinely nice and happy for us to be there, it was very refreshing not to feel like a tourist. If I had to tweak anything, I'd say a more comfortable living room couch.....but it didn't prevent us from having a great trip! Will definitely use this property again, for us the house, the location, the town and the people were perfect!!

We loved our stay at the downtown bungalow in Ellijay. The house was exactly as pictured in the listing. Very clean. And so close to Ellijay. We were able to walk to get coffee every morning and walked to dinner every night. Hope to return soon!

The Downtown Bungalow was perfect for us and our dog Sarge. Comfortable and able to walk to shopping and restaurants in downtown. The back yard and wide open spaces around were easily accessible for walking our dog. Weather was perfect and an added bonus of the Saturday Farmers Market right down the sidewalk.

Property was excellent, sat on the porch in the sun with morning coffee, walked around the town area, drove out to large shopping and dining areas. Also to orchards and winery's . Met some of the neighbors, and visited with them. Great site and greate time.

Really enjoyed our stay in this sweet , easy walk to town, bungalow. Everything we needed. Would definitely come back.

Lovely place walking distance to downtown. Only surprise we had was kuerig coffee maker instead of regular maker. But Ingles had a solution. Other than that was perfect for us.

The house was adorable, very clean! The lovely little town is just a few steps out the front door. Very pleased with the stay. We will definitely be booking this lovely home next year for our annual visit.

We had a wonderful time while visiting Ellijay. House was close to all the shops. Front porch was a great location to watch the July 4th fireworks. Hope to stay here again!

Exactly the way it looks in the pictures. Location was great! House was beautiful. Quiet street. Only issue was downtown shuts down so early. We were there for a 4 day softball tournament and by the time we got back we couldn’t go out to eat or explore the town.

Beautiful property! Perfect location within walking distance to a true quintessential little town with great shopping and amazing food!! The people here are so nice and helpful as well!!We highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed!
