We had an A&M Veterinary student extern at our clinic. This was a perfect location from the clinic. Looked very cozy! Would rent again.

Place was clean and comfy. Location was super close to town but still felt secluded.

The cabin was well equipped, and comfortable and had several nice little touches throughout from makeup wipes to wood in the outdoor chimenea. The location is an easy 5 min drive into (Wimberly) with lots of shops and dining options. Also near a full size grocery store. Great location!

This is the third time we have used the properties. It’s close to everything, but extremely quiet area. I highly recommend this cozy quiet place.

Easy place to find. It is in a convenient location. The house was comfortable and fully stocked with needed items like towels, utensils, plate, cups, dishes, pans etc

Scum behind the shampoo – rinse – body wash containers against the bathroom wall. I realized that floor in the entire cabin was dirty. White bathrooms towels, washcloths and hand towels were stingy – with a musky smell.Kitchen towels (rags) had a very strong cigarette and musky smell. (Bad odor). The bed comforter felt overloaded with dust mites. The decorative pillows have no place to put them. Neither bedroom have a luggage rack (our luggage had to be placed on the floor. There were no USB plugs available anywhere inside the cabin.

The vacation rental was perfect for us.It was very clean. We loved the back yard to sit by the fire It was close to somberly to shop and eat dinner

The first time it was perfect. No complaints. This time I saw signs of wear and the need for deep cleaning. Particularly the windows and the ac mini splits. I had trouble getting them to blow cool air, so we were uncomfortable. The harsh LED lightbulbs do not create warmth and IMO should be replaced with a warmer color that seems more like home. Otherwise still a very nice property. We will be back. Thanks!

Loved how close to town. Loved the quietness and the wildlife!

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. We visited family in Canyon Lake and attended a wedding in Dripping Springs, so it was perfectly centrally located for our needs, and a plus to be able to wander around the shops in Wimberley. My only complaint would be that the lighting was a little dim - we would have liked a few more lights in the place - specifically another lamp on the left side of the bed in the master as well as higher wattage bulbs in the kitchen and living area. Other than that though, this is a perfect place for 2 to 4 people, and we loved it!! However, if your group of 4 likes to sit outside, bring additional camp chairs as there are only two chairs in the front and two in the back (unless you don't mind moving them about).

This is the second time we’ve been to this property and for a reason. It’s the perfect size for our family (2 adults and 2 kids- 5 and 2). Kitchen is stocked with the essentials, property is just large enough for the kids to roam around, it feels private even though it’s close to the other cabins (fences block off sight lines), and it’s very close to town. We had the best time!

Would have liked to know details about river access.

This cozy rental was great! The beds were comfy, living room was lovely, and the small touches were great. Also very clean. Only drawback was it was close to the road and there was some busy road noise, but nothing that kept us up or from enjoying our stay!

Pretty cabin in a fairly quiet area. We enjoyed our stay. It is near downtown Wimberly, and within short driving distances to other towns that we visited. Most everything needed for the stay was provided/available. Very minor details that kept me from 5 star rating-kitchen sink needs a stopper, more dish cloths needed, cobwebs noticed which needed cleaned and 2 footprints left on a bed where it appeared someone had stepped up to the wall a/c unit.

The PERFECT getaway for my husband and I! We were looking for a peaceful weekend experiencing hill country and the cabin did not disappoint. Nothing excessive but had everything we needed and (almost) everything we wanted - just missing wine glasses to enjoy a bottle of wine we brought back from a vineyard tasting. Watched deer in the morning on the back patio with our coffee, and snuggled on the perfectly sized couch enjoying movies by night. Location location location! Minutes from Wimberley, Gruene, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Driftwood and more! Host made the entire process so smooth and was quick to respond with our few questions leading up to trip. We will be back!

Went on a quick weekend in Wimberley with my 9 year old and 16 year old. The Mountain Laurel was just perfect as our home base. Everything was clean, there was plenty of room, house was stocked with everything we could need, it was quiet, beautiful, only 3 min to the square and the property management was very helpful. Loved our stay and hope to visit again!

Great cabin! Very clean and close to town. We saw deer, a gray fox and a raccoon fin the back porch. We Loved listening to the dove coo. Beautiful place with a great location. I will definitely stay there again.

Lovely little retreat for a family getaway.

We enjoyed our four night stay in this cute, clean, and convenient cabin—just right for a couple or family with a child or two. The location is just minutes from the Wimberley Square. We would do it again!

Super clean, comfy and really close to Wimberley (but not too close for the weekend traffic to affect us). We loved the cabin and would stay there again!

It’s the perfect size for a family with two young children. It was beautiful property, had all the amenities we needed, and was an amazing family vacation. We’ll be back in the Fall!
