Martin and Frances very gracious hosts, any problems were resolved quickly. Their back yard was lovely for us to sit out to enjoy the views. Their property is quiet, comfortable and useable. Easy to get downtown quickly, Vernon has a lovely downtown centre, the Midtown Bistro was a great eating venue.

Great hosts made us fell at home. Great chickens and eggs! The downsides are the bedrooms. No closet, old worn out mattresses and beddings which were advertised as new beddings. TV set is on its last days.

This place is qlways clean, quiet, and private. Kitchen is well sticked with basics as well as a dozen fresh eggs in the fridge when we arrive. This was our third time here and we will stay again!

Martin and Francis are wonderful hosts. Respected our wish for privacy but were available to answer a few questions we had. They even stepped up to help us out with another rental property when it looked like we may need accommodation due to the wildfire situation.

We had a wonderful time, Martin and Francis were so welcoming and accommodating. We really appreciated their tips on beautiful spots to visit during our week in Vernon. They are such kind people and we loved our time at this vrbo. Lots of open grass for family soccer games and a great spot for the 4 of us to sit and enjoy the gorgeous yard and surrounding area for morning coffee ect. The kitchen is so well stocked, really comfy beds, the layout of the suite has so much natural light and great views. This was a perfect base for our summer vacation, Thank you 🙂

Great experience. The place has amazing natural light and plenty of space for our family of 4 (my wife, myself, and 2 kids 13 and 10). Close to anything you need in town and maybe 20 min max to Silverstar. Martin and Frances were excellent hosts, very considerate and responsive. I would stay there again and recommend as a home base for a ski trip.

We spent most of time Skiing at Silver Star during our winter holiday. We loved staying at Martin & Frances house. It was super cosy and clean, has heaps of space for ski and snowboard gear to store, short driving distance to mountain, village, shop, swimming pool, lake etc. Great house and location! Also we enjoyed cooking sausages on the fire pit outside in the snow. Martin & Frances were super friendly and kind. Highly recommended!

The kitchen is large and well stocked. You could cook or bake anything you wished. The place was very clean and cared for. Enjoyed our stay Manager very accommodating.

We had a great time for our family vacation in Martin and Frances' suite. The accommodation was clean, spacious, well equipped. We really appreciated the amount of natural light and the bid windows out onto the backyard . Really enjoyed my morning coffee sitting in the backyard, enjoying the sunshine. Great hosts, we had a lovely time visiting. We would definitely enjoy staying here again.

First, the house is fabuluous.Spacious bedrooms and large living room and well equipped kitchen. Air conditioning quiet in bedrooms and big fans in living room are very helpful on hot summer days.Second, the house is cozy, comfortable and very clean. Location is good enough, 4 min drive to major stores like superstore and walmart plus others To sum up, our next stay in Vernon will be definitely here

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful vrbo. The sky lights and vaulted ceiling were lovely, the home is as beautiful as the pictures show. We enjoyed sitting around the island with the comfy stools. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils you would ever need and more. We had a wonderful stay! The property was even more beautiful than expected! We wanted to book for another stay but they were already booked full. This was honestly the best VRBO I have ever stayed in.

The suite was excellent — clean, comfortable, bright, and very well stocked. Martin and Frances were attentive and friendly. It was a perfect home base during our stay in the Okanagan, one that we’ve already recommended to others.

Location was close to town and property was gorgeous. Views from large windows gave a peaceful setting for our girlfriends get together. Very well equipped place and hosts were excellent.

For our group, this location was great - minutes into Vernon. The home was quaint, clean, quiet - and comfortable. We were very happy there!

Great stuff will stay again

Martin and Frances were born to be VRBO hosts! Kind and generous people who have truly considered what both short and long term guests are looking for in a vacation rental. Our vacation in the Skylight Suite was an extended one for 3 months of the ski season and we loved every minute of it. The flat is perfectly located for those looking to spend time at Silver Star/Sovereign Lakes as we were. It is about 1.5kms from every shop you could possibly need and just 20 minutes from the base gondola on one road (without stop signs or traffic lights!). The house itself is light-filled and in spite of all the wonderful windows it is private and there is no need to pull down the shades. The beds are comfortable with great bedding and there is a plentiful supply of towels and extra sheets for those who stay longer term. The space is open and with soaring ceilings and (16?) skylights, it is generous. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and dining. Because we were there for the winter we had no opportunity to use the yard but there is a bistro table/chairs, two Adirondacks, and an umbrella for those sunny happy hours in the back of the house which is quiet and private. Children would have a yard to play ball or Frisbee in that is completely safe and far from traffic and other homes. We made good use of the BBQ all winter which we are used to at home and which many places seem to unfortunately store away when the snow flies. Our winter was the best one ever and we truly could not have found other accommodation that suited us as well as this one did. Thank you both so much for your hospitality Frances and Martin, we will be sure to let you know if we will be in Vernon again in the future. We arrived as enthusiastic strangers and left as grateful friends.

Unfortunately it was too cold to do much outside, but we really enjoyed our time indoors with the activities we brought to do. :) Martin was super friendly and helpful, and the fresh eggs were a lovely touch.
