Awesome stay in a beautiful home surrounded by lush grounds! We throughly enjoyed it! The only constructive feedback was that the oven didn’t work well and the water pressure in the kitchen wasn’t great. But minor feedback with all things considered.

Absolutely amazing. The property completely lived up to the pictures. I spent every morning snorkeling right off the backyard. Gorgeous sunrises, 15 minute drive the Cruz Bay. Plenty of amenities. Property manager was very helpful with any questions or concerns.

Amble space and privacy for 4 couples with plenty of room and amenities. Beautiful house with stunning pool and views. Only disappointment was we could have enjoyed kayaks on property had we known about the “recreation package” ahead of time

This beautiful home accommodated our party of 6 adults with ease. With 4 master suites, and lots of living spaces the group had plenty of options for together and separate time. The quality, comfort and location of the home was more than we could ask for. We so appreciated the assistance that Curtis gave us from day one pick-up to our last day drop-off at the ferry. We all had a wonderful time on St. John and at Beach Garden.

Everything with the house and rental experience was 5 star - the property was awesome; but it is St. John, so access to the water from the Villa wasn’t easy and probably couldn’t be accessed for people less fit than we happen to be. Regardless - very nice experience

This home exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t do it justice at all! Every room is beautiful - with space enough for our 3 adult couples to be together or have privacy. Curtis mad everything seamless and his response time was quick and so helpful!! We went to sleep at night to the sounds of the ocean and had morning coffee overlooking the beautiful bay. Book this property - it’s very special!

Great outdoor spaces and location. We enjoyed easy access to snorkeling in Chocolate Hole — saw many sea turtles and sting rays. Loved having coffee in the morning on the ocean front terraces. The interior of this home is in need of a refresh/repair from ongoing rental wear and tear. Fortunately we spent most time at the beach or outdoors.

Our stay at Beach Garden Villa was nice, but not exactly what we expected. First the positives: the house itself is lovely (stone work, tile, etc. really well done) and conveniently located to restaurants, shopping and beaches. We loved the many seating areas and our time spent on the back patio and the upper deck was comfortable with beautiful views. The view of Chocolate Hole provided a scenic and soothing venue. The Villa is laid out well and is beautifully built. There was more than enough space for three couples to unwind and relax. There were, however, some disappointments. For the cost, we expected a 5-star experience, but there were issues that left us feeling dissatisfied. The koi pond shown on the website in the front of the house does not exist. It is only dirt and weeds. When we questioned the property manager (who was extremely helpful and responsive during our stay) we were told it had not been there “for a long time.” Then why is it on the website? Our first view when we walked through the door was of a badly stained entry table – not exactly a great look. And there were other issues. The refrigerator needs to be replaced. Its hinges are rusted and not properly fastened, and the door squeaks every time it is opened. Water puddles on the lowest shelf. We discovered this after food on that shelf had become completely soaked. The ice maker was broken (the property manager brought us bags of ice and told us it would be fixed during our stay, but that did not happen). The espresso machine did not work. When we walked out to the lower back patio, we found an ashtray full of cigarette butts as well as several cigar butts. This property is listed as “no smoking,” which was important to us. Some bath towels and a bath mat were ripped. In one of the first floor bedrooms, there is an indoor and an outdoor shower. The outdoor shower produced only a trickle of water and was unusable (the outdoor shower in the second floor bathroom worked well). The curtains in at least one of the bedrooms had been turned backward (we noticed the tag was on the wrong side) because they are badly stained on the front side. The beautiful pool on the upper level has tiles missing , with patchwork repair. Repair of the pool tiles was simply incomplete. Some of these complaints may sound picky, but in aggregate, they added up to a less-than-ideal experience. The Villa is very nice, but is becoming a bit dated and could use a refresh.

Amazing house!

The Beach Garden Villa was the perfect place for celebrating my 60th birthday with friends. Its location on Chocolate Hole where the snorkeling is awesome was perfect for our group. We could access the water from the villa and rented the recreation package so that we had kayaks and SUPs along with snorkeling gear. There are many turtles in the bay and the snorkeling over on the south side at the mouth of the bay is terrific. The Villa was perfect with 4 identical master suites - although the one with the outdoor shower facing the water was exceptional. Lots of outdoor living spaces, a beautiful pool for cooling off and plenty of indoor seating as well which was great for the times that the no-see-ums came out. The kitchen was very well appointed, the Starfish Market was 5 minutes away and 10 minutes to many great dining options in Cruz Bay. We grilled fish several of the nights and it was nice to have linen knapkins and nice placemats on the table. Lovely fluffy white towels and crisp white sheets with plenty of pillows on the beds. The internet worked well so those of us that had to get some work done, could. Dior was terrific and very connected. She really helped us out when our car rental at the airport in St Thomas fell through and she hooked us up with Mr Pipers Jeep Rental on St John. Not an easy task on a Saturday. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Our group of 4 couples in their 60s thoroughly enjoyed our Beach Garden Villa vacation!! The access to the bay in front of our Villa was key to our enjoyment. We all used the kayaks and the SUPs—— we also enjoyed snorkeling the bay. The KEY to a safe entry over the rocks is to wear water shoes and stay low like a crab as you enter. The Villa is absolutely beautiful—-just as pictured! Curtis was extremely responsive! I give this rental my highest rating!!!

The property was beautiful, comfortable and clean with a great deal of room. The pool was wonderful and the hot tub was enjoyed by all.

I truly felt as if I was in my own jungle playground. Bananas growing in a tree, beautiful birds, dashing lizards and curious iguanas were excellent companions. Views were incredible and ocean sounds made the house a soulful retreat. Enough room for five of us to be in our own space or play cards at the day. The pool was inviting and just the right temperature for relaxing. Highly recommend this house for a getaway or family adventure.

This house was perfect for our family vacation! Everything we needed was there—kitchen was fantastic, paddle boards and kayaks at the beach, great space to relax. Communication with management and the property manager was excellent!

Beautiful house in an excellent location! Great place to snorkel although not that easy to get past the rocks! Pool was great and bedrooms very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing stay! The villa was clean, spacious and perfect for both entertaining and relaxing. The property manager was responsive to every request and the villa contained everything we needed from kitchen supplies to ample towels, sheets and blankets. We paid a small extra fee for paddle boards and kayaks, which were like new and great quality.

My husband and I, along with my son and his girlfriend spent a week at Beach Garden Villa late January 2021. It was a blissful respite from the year of covid.The house was very comfortable, had everything we needed. Interesting eclectic artwork throughout, and a great location... secluded, with a beautiful view of the water, but only minutes from town. Very comfortable beds and furnishings. I'll miss hours spent lounging in the couch under the pergola on the rooftop terrace and the fantastic outdoor shower looking out to the sea.There is air conditioning, but we never used it as the villa was perfectly comfortable with giant screen doors opening to the bay throughout the house.The only caution I would note for future renters is that the access to the water in front of the villa can be bit tricky. It's quite rocky and except for when the water was completely calm, which it really only was two days of the week we were there, it was hard to get into the water without getting banged around on the rocks. However, we were only 10-15 minutes away from the gorgeous North shore beaches so that was not really an issue for us, plus there was the pool which is not heated, but was perfectly comfortable for swimming. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful property!! The property manager met us at the ferry and helped us to the home and showed us the entire property. He was at our beckoning call, which was reassuring. The home was clean and fresh and had tons of essentials. Easy access and just minutes to Cruz Bay. Highly recommend this VRBO.
