We stayed at this property two nights. It was a nice place close to Yellowstone, but out far enough that we felt very secluded. I believe it would be a great place for a longer stay as well. My only complaint was in the parking area, had divots that when it rained like we had puddles collected and made it difficult getting in and out of the car, but this was only a minor inconvenience and not enough to ruin a wonderful cabin adventure. I loved that we could see the lake from this property.

This place had just what we needed for our family. Clean, spacious enough, and close to the West Yellowstone Park entrance for convenience. We recommend!

This was overpriced for what you get. We have recent stays nearby in Driggs and St. Anthony that were much better for less money. This place was very outdated. Ceiling fans wobbled a ton of on over low, and you need fans on in the summer because no AC. Very little cookware. Bathroom was the only updated room. Popcorn ceilings.

This place was perfect for us! Saw bison all around property with their babies! Also, saw a fox frequently near the VRBO and elk and mule deer on the road into the development. The place was a great setup, clean, everything you need, including heat for chilly nites, and windows that open to provide great cross breezes for the fresh air. Also, supplied foam coolers and 2 non expired bear sprays, which we did not have to use. Thhis was our second time staying at this exact VRBO.

Good location-about 10 min drive to town, clean property, lots of bison in neighborhood, nice electric fireplace for chilly mornings, and nice having washer and dryer.

We were so impressed with the property. It is close to West Yellowstone and the park entrance, but tucked away about 5-10 minutes, so it is quiet and so peaceful. There were bison roaming our area and we loved watching them right in our back yard! There was also a fox with kits that my kids loved watching and photographing. West Yellowstone has all the conveniences you need for the park visit, like groceries/gas/etc. We won’t stay anywhere else with our next visit.

This was a quiet private neighborhood and the rental agent was very quick to respond. After a swift refund from the owner, VRBO withheld tax after a day’s rental was canceled and refunded. It was only through my time consuming efforts that the tax was refunded. The kitchen was one of the most poorly stocked kitchens I have ever stayed in. Everything in the kitchen aside from cups and plates was time worn and low quality. The time worn, poor quality bedding and towels need to be replaced. There was a stain on the (uncomfortable) mattress pad and the sheets had some kind of coating and smelled of fragrance, body oils, and I had to wash and dry the pillows and cases as they smelled of body oils from constant use. The laundry room was great. Missing light bulbs in carport. The coffee maker would not work but was quickly replaced the next day with a dirty old machine that had to be washed and cleaned before using. These are basic things that should be addressed. The rental was expensive for what you got. But with some easy upgrades it would be great.

We enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was well-equipped and towels, beds, etc were all in good shape. About five minutes from West Yellowstone. Everything was very nice and we’d definitely stay here again

Great place, good price with beautiful views, 15 mins from town

Great location, property very relaxing great stay.

It’s about 10 mins, if that, to the West Yellowstone entrance. We really enjoyed our stay here! The neighborhood is quiet and we even had a bison, we called “Billy,” that would walk around. We saw the fox twice; early one morning and evening. The house was so clean and so cozy! No a/c but it was not needed, even in July! We slept with the windows open at night and it was absolutely perfect! Marta makes sure you have everything you need! The road out to the house is a little rough but nothing that would make me not want to come back. We saw elk each night crossing the road so be careful! We loved everything about this place! Thank you, Marta, for sharing your home with us!

Awesome place to stay if you’re visiting Yellowstone.

The home was perfect! We stayed at 3 different locations in the Yellowstone vicinity and this home was our favorite! It had everything we needed. The fireplace was wonderful and we even had the ability to watch foxes in the backyard! We want to come back!!!

Check in process was easy. Once checked in we found the house to be older, but clean. The kitchen was well stocked. We found the furniture to be very uncomfortable! The couch appears to be old, the cushions are very worn, making them uncomfortable to sit on while watching TV. The club chairs were uncomfortable as well, pretty sure one of them has a broken spring. The mattresses were really firm. The location is as advertised, about 15 minutes from town. The property is located on a loose gravel road, as is the driveway. The bear proof trash dumpster is a couple blocks away, so you have to put trash in your vehicle to drop off. This only created a problem the morning we left, with a loaded car....it seems there could be a closer dumpster placed for the VRBO properties on this block. This neighborhood is very quiet, we enjoyed seeing the foxes play! Note- there is no A/C, ceiling fans were a big help. Overall this property is clean, but very dated appliances and furniture.

We stayed at the property for 3 nights while visiting Yellowstone. Everything was easy and perfect. We had no problem finding location, which is 15 min from the park. Inside the house was immaculately clean, had all to make our stay enjoyable. We definitely will recommend this place as an excellent spot for park visit.

Felt like home because it is a home. Quiet neighborhood, parking under cover. Comfortable furniture, beds, washer dryer was a big plus (motorcycle trip). Sat on the deck every night for fox sightings- twice. He didn’t seem to mind us, nor us him. I’ll always prefer VRBO’s over hotels. Much more relaxing, no hassle check in’s and NO elevators! It was about 10 miles to West Yellowstone, but a very easy drive. Plan ahead for needs, and relax at “home”. I would recommend Sandhill, and would stay again!!

The home was perfect for our family vacation to Yellowstone. The neighborhood is secluded and quiet. The house was very clean with everything we needed. We look forward to going back soon.

Nice place

We had the best time staying in West Yellowstone. This location is perfect for exploring YS. We would get up early, stay in the park all day, head to West Yellowstone for dinner and then only 10 minutes or so drive to this cute cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything needed for a great time.

Great rental for a family enjoying Yellowstone. It is close to the West entrance but quiet and great views. We saw a family of Bison on the road. The washer and dryer was a lifesaver and the home had everything we needed.

We thought the pictures do not do it justice. It’s a very comfortable apartment and spotlessly clean. Fully stocked kitchen and linens, the wood burning fireplace is a plus (but beware to get wood before you arrive, as it is not provided other than what may be left over from a previous guest). Bonus to have the Bison come through every morning and late afternoon, and the playful little fox that visits the neighbors and plays with their dogs was fun to watch too!

Wonderful home away from home. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Very quiet and restful after busy days spent exploring Yellowstone. Enjoyed seeing the bison wondering the neighborhood. Even saw a fox several times in the yard. I would highly recommend this property!

We couldn't have been happier. Great views of wildlife, clean, every amenity you could need! Washer/dryer, bear sprays provided and grill were our highlights. Beautiful colors at sunrise/ sunset. Very responsive host.
