We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. I greatly appreciate the attention to cleanliness. Accommodations were beyond adequate and the location was superb. The property manager was so attentive and helpful. We definitely look forward to coming back.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Mimi’s house. Every question we had was answered very quickly and we had the best time, even with several storms coming through. The only very minor things I would mention are not even negative. They’re just a “head’s up” type of information so future guests will be prepared: If you have an infant (or adult) that needs complete darkness to sleep, you’ll want to bring something to block out the light. It’s a very bright house with so many windows, which is actually wonderful. (Just not at bedtime if you have a very picky toddler-ha!). There are zero beach towels, which I believe the house description states, but I just want to mention it in case guests skim over that point. There are plenty of pool towels though! Also, this house backs up to the main road, which is mostly not a problem at all since it’s such a quaint town. I just know some people might like to be aware of such information. There are plenty of trees between the house and road to provide privacy though. So you really wouldn’t know the road was there except for the occasional truck or motorcycle. Renting a golf cart is a must, especially if you are bringing children. Overall, this was the best vacation home we have ever rented, and we have rented a beach house every year for many years! So clean, huge kitchen, great communication, fabulous location, games, magazines and books for rainy days. The hosts are eager to please. Love it!

Aresa was quick and responsive and the place was top notch. Very comfortable and one of those places you just know is a better quality stay that you want to stay. Enjoyed and look forward to another visit.

Mimi's house is a beautiful home. Plenty of room for the 11 of us that stayed there. The kids enjoyed the pool and the bunk room. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything that we needed during our stay. Some very nice touches were having extra beach towels and beach bags provided. We were also thankful for the abundance of bath towels. We rented a golf cart to get to the beach, but it is about a 7-10 minute walk if you go by foot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Mimi’s house! There was no detail overlooked on this property! The decor and amenities were some of the best I have seen in a rental property. We had 7 adults and 2 children and had plenty of space. The living room and kitchen were so spacious for spending time together! The house is a little off the beach so a golf cart rental was a must for our group! Aresa the property manager was very responsive, we had no issues but booking, checking in and out was a breeze! Absolutely would stay at this property again!

The pictures were very accurate description of house. It was very nice and was a great space for our family of 10. Beach access was adequate but could be a little difficult in the very busy times of summer.

The home was VERY clean and beautifully decorated with a beachy feel but not overdone - just right with a welcoming warm and comfy feeling. The pictures are accurate. Very spacious for our group of 10, 5 adults and 5 children. Having beach chairs already there was a plus. Whenever we had an issue, Aresa was VERY prompt in addressing them. Couldn't have asked for better communication. As said in some other review, wish it was closer to the beach. We shuttled with our cars because public parking for the beach is VERY limited. We would rent a golf cart if we stay there again. Then we wouldn't have so much sand in our cars. Note: In one of the descriptions it said there were some basic spices in the home. We couldn't find any (maybe because of Covid?) so we went out and bought them. If we had known, we could have brought those from home, but not a big deal. A lovely home!

Some noise issues - they were finishing a build next door. Ice maker broken. One shower built up while showering and drained really slowly, upstairs the air conditioning didn't seem to be distributed properly - 2 bedrooms cold, 2 bedrooms hot. No sound/blue tooth system for inside or out, This was NOT the Manager Aresa's fault. Was told they had no control over appliances and first service call was in August. As I said, Aresa was great and did everything she could to help ensure our family vacation was a good one. And it was. I'm a believer that issues just arise when renting. Expensive but worth it. Thank you Aresa for helping us all.

We enjoyed MiMis house and found property as advertised. Despite the air conditioning issue the first few days, all was well. The property manager was attentive to the issue until resolved. Our family was able to have privacy as well as spend time together. We enjoyed our trip.

I traveled to Destin with my husband 2 teenagers and some of their friends. The house was in a great location. It also had plenty of room inside for all of us. We rented a golf cart which got us to all the places we wanted to travel to. I would definitely stay here again.

The house was amazing! It was so clean and smelled fresh when we arrived. It had everything we needed. The property manager answered all my questions so quickly. The kids enjoyed the pool right outside the patio door! The pool door alarm was the best safety devise for kids and grown ups! The only thing I would changed, is to put the house right on the beach . haha!. It was about a 12 minute walk.

We all had a wonderful stay. The pool, while smaller than I thought, was the perfect adjunct to a beautiful house with great appointments. All in all, a fabulous week!

The house is fabulous! It is very roomy and has everything you need. The pool was a huge hit!! Restaurants are within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and the property manager was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this place!

This house is AMAZING! IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN!!! Location was perfect! Short walk to the beach, great restaurants close by and SO CLEAN!!!! It was the perfect set up for 2 families to stay. Aresa was FABULOUS throughout our booking and stay. She was so helpful and made the stay that much more enjoyable for us.

We only got to enjoy Mimi’s house for a few days, but we felt like home. Stocked with everything you can think of and more. Ps. The beds are all super comfy!

The house and location are spot on with the VRBO description. A short walk or drive to the beach - Lovely beach access as there are restrooms and ample parking. The home itself is absolutely a stunner -- Everything about this home is gorgeous, well maintained, comfortable, stocked well and so inviting. Aresa the property manager was awesome!! She answered any and all questions she truly cares about Mimi's Place and takes great pride in it. We didn't endure any issues except "learning" the AC control, but Aresa following up immediately and we were impressed. Every detail in this home was not overlooked; the pool was perfect and really cool at night with the lights!! The restaurants within walking distance were amazing! Blue Marble was my favorite, exceptional food and the staff were great. We look forward to another trip down to this beautiful beach home! Book NOW you will not be disappointed!

Stayed here 8/28-9/6 with family and friends. There were 9 of us and all slept comfortably and had a great time. The house is in a great location! Walking distance to several restaurants, bakery & even a bike/scooter rental place. Aresa was absolutely wonderful and so helpful with anything we needed. We look forward to visiting again in the future! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us we had a fantastic time!

We loved this home! It was the perfect size for our family of 9 with plenty of room left over. The proximity to the beach was ideal and the pool was perfect for a late afternoon swim. We can't wait to be back soon!
