We were really happy to have booked this apartment - it was fully equipped, super clean and located in a quiet area. It's just a 10 min walk from the marketplatz, a 5 minute walk from the Saltmines & local supermarket.

The apartment was really cozy and warm with a lovely Mountain View. Within 5 minute walking distance from the center and next to the Funicular to the salt mines.

Nice cozy room, full equipments at the kitchen, very quiet.

Stairs is narrow, and i slipped over. Need a caution.

This is a lovely apartment (we stayed in unit B - upstairs and only accessible by stairs) in a quiet area on the south side of town. It was great to eat a few meals in on the small but well placed balcony with superb views of the mountains to the west. The apartment is a 20-minute walk from the boat station (not a problem for us) but the reward is a quiet space on the edge of the town with easy access to some hiking trails and only a short distance to restaurants and a grocery store. I only wish we would have booked it for longer than 2 days.

Access to the main bedroom is through the smaller bedroom (not a problem for us) and Apartment B is up a flight of 15 stairs.

cozy apartment, it is Europe so no ac, but windows open over night stayed pretty chill! Walking distance to beach, skywalk entrance, even the town. parking on site!

We met the host by chance when we were going out for a walk, she was very friendly! The place is great, the beds are very comfortable and the balcony is so cozy, a great choice for sure!

You need to walk a bit (15 min) to the city center, also to get the boat, depending on the weather it could be unpleasant. However, a great place to stay!

This was a wonderful place in a fantastic location! It had beautiful views of the mountainside, great access to the lake and old town, a huge, fully-equipped kitchen with plenty of room for meals, and it was very quiet and clean. When we arrived it was very easy to get the key from the lock box. Maria had emailed me beforehand with the directions to getting the key and she followed-up by email after we arrived to ensure that we had gotten in ok and that all was well. (She was also kind enough to have prepared some welcoming drinks for us in the refrigerator.) Parking was a nice surprise as well. It was simple and convenient. I can't imagine many other properties offering easy parking in the town. We highly recommend this property. If we are lucky enough to return to Hallstatt in the future, we'll try to stay here again. Clean, have all you need for your stay

Mattress feels cheap, not very comfortable. Bed is short for ones > 180 cm

The location was great. A short walk to everything! Facilities provided were good and everything was clean. Parking outside the Apartments an added bonus. The apartment has the most beautiful surrounding views!

There was nothing we didn't like.

No internet when we arrived; told the repair person was to arrive soon-- he never showed-up; I needed to do some work for my business but was unable to do such since the internet was unavailable.

Maria was very clear with check-in instructions, and she was prompt to answer our queries. Apartment is in an excellent location, very clean, and has all amenities one would require for a short stay. I will definitely recommend Marie's Apartments to anyone visiting Hallstatt.

Very nice apartment close to the center of Hallstatt. Parking in front of the house very appriciated!! Great place to stay with small kids. Nice equipement and very helpful owner.

We had already enough information before the arrival. All tourist information/brochure is prepared in the apartment but the host is living downstairs and help us anyway. The complete kitchen ware even some seasonings and coffee. Just a few minutes to the beautiful lake. We should have stayed one day more!
