Exterior areas filthy with debris & cobwebs. Interior clean but grungy. Shower basin plugged. Vacated early.

Accurately described as kind of a fishing camp, the kitchen and living area was a great place for our group of 10 guys having a college reunion. The grounds and lake were wonderful. Beds and baths are ok for a group of men and/or kids. The two additional casitas were great to have as additional sleeping options. Nothing fancy but priced reasonably and was good for our group. This was our 2nd visit, and we would return again.

Older house which we did not mind at all. Main house has lots of beds in it. Beautiful yard and view. Nice boat dock. Mattresses on beds in Casitas are pretty uncomfortable. Otherwise nice place. Was clean except for a few spider webs found. We enjoyed our time there.

The cabins were perfect for our group. Clean, great location and easy access in and out. Highly recommend these cabins.

Beware when and if booking this property. The pictures depict the interior as crisply clean, and it most definitely is not. The pictures (I'm guessing) were taken right after the property was painted. The actual condition of the interior is grimy dirt on doors and window sills and shows neglect of even simple upkeep. I cleaned some of the doors myself which were just disgusting. Numerous light bulbs are burned out and need replacement. Some light fixtures are just a single bare bulb. Mini blinds are torn and broken. Other blinds lack the handle to open or close them. Both aluminum screen doors are filthy and flimsy and do not close behind you. That's annoying when you're trying to keep out flies and mosquitoes. Most of the mattresses are terribly uncomfortable...like you're sleeping on the box springs rather than a mattress. I added a cushion of 4 beach towels that I brought to the mattress I was sleeping on in an effort to make it more comfortable. They didn't help. Finally, I stripped the sheets off the bed to use on a futon instead. The bare mattress I stripped was dirty, stained, and torn. None of the mattresses have mattress covers either. The one king bed has a foam mattress with a permanent dip in it. Neither bathroom in the cabins have hot water plumbed to the sink....cold water only. The hot water pipe is not even there; it's been removed and capped. Neither refrigerator in the cabins is frost free and both are in bad need of being defrosted. The exterior of one of those refrigerators has large and numerous rust spots and missing paint. In addition, my family and I spent a good hour when we arrived cleaning exterior chairs and tables that were covered in a dry, sticky, black sap from the trees. If you look through the pictures, you will notice a hot tub on the property. There was no information about it in the property amenities, so I called to ask a couple of questions. I was told the hot tub had been removed. So, I passed that info on to my family. Upon arrival, the hot tub was indeed there...nice surprise, but not everyone had appropriate attire based on the incorrect info that it had been removed. Also, I requested an earlier check in than 4 PM day of arrival and that request was immediately denied. However, on the morning of our check in day, I received a text that an earlier check in was available at mid morning. At that point, it was too late for any of us to adjust our travel plans to take advantage of that. To say my family and I were disappointed in the condition and cleanliness of this property is an understatement. Overall, I'd say Motel 6 is much better. Be forewarned.

We loved that the house was big enough to accommodate up to 21 people. It had ever We needed to make this trip so enjoyable. Mostly the view was just amazing! We will definitely be back again!
