Another fabulous stay

Overall great little place full of old charm thought it would be cold but the place was cozy. After torrential rain in the days before yard was a bit wet underfoot for the dog but otherwise good yard for any dog to run around. Host communicated well with any issue raised prior to visit. Thanks again 🙏

Great location, house was clean and exactly as described. Front deck was perfect to watch the world go by. Our 9 year old choc lab loved it as well, even getting lots of cuddles from the neighbours.

This is a fantastic property! Lovely feel, nicely decorated and updated. Just the right blend of old school beach house, modern comfort and thoughtful touches. As a family with teenagers holidaying over an overcast new year, we appreciated the huge sheltered deck with hammock, lounge and big dining table, all with a view of the ocean. The big couch inside fitted us all as we made good use of the dvd collection.
The kitchen is very well kitted out, there was nothing we looked for that we didn't find. Very nice quality and even the knives were sharp!
Thanks for a great stay, we look forward to coming back again.

This lovely house is situated 3 min walk to a patrolled beach. On arrival it was so clean and tidy. I will recommend this property to family and friends, a real gem. The sea breeze in the afternoon sitting out the front is magnificent. A 2min drive (or courtesy bus) to the club for dinner, stroll to the shops for a morning coffee. We loved every minutes of our holiday, thank you.

We loved our stay at The Haven. It was perfectly located near the beach at not far from from the Culburra shops. We loved the great coffee shop walking distance from the house. The house was fabulous, comfortable, very clean, well equipped and pooch friendly. Our favourite part was the beautiful front balcainy where we spent many an hour relaxing. David was a brilliant host, responsive and helpful. We can’t wait for our next visit!

We had a relaxing week at the Haven with our beach-loving spaniel. It’s an older-style beach house with some upgraded kitchen facilities but a fairly “original” bathroom. The front-porch recreation area is very comfortable, if a bit exposed, the enclosed backyard is ideal for a dog, and the location near two beaches and a kayak-friendly lake is excellent.

We were welcomed with a very clean, tidy, aesthetically decorated cottage 2 mins walk to the dog friendly beach. Also within walking distance to the beautiful calm lake and coffee shop with great burgers. The owners of the property were prompt with communication, helpful and very accommodating. We had a wonderful, relaxing and easy holiday.

Great Australian Holiday
We live our stay here. Firstly the house was in an excellent location. It was walking distances to both beaches and the take away store. This allowed happy parents on the bigger waves with very happy kids on the smaller waves and then able to ride their bikes to the shop and playground. My 8year old spent everyday in the hammock and I read as the sun went down on the couch on the porch. It was lovely for the slightly cooler afternoons to sleep with the sun still there.
The house is lovely and takes you back to your own holidays growing up where the properties were real beach houses. That is the charm here. Also very comfy beds.
We wished we had longer as we didn’t even get our fishing lines wet!!

Great little cottage
We really enjoyed our stay here, property was well presented and perfect for the kids- they especially enjoyed the trampoline and the short stroll to the beach and cafe. The front deck was a nice spot for an afternoon drink. Would recommend.

Charming Beach House
Ideal place to escape for a few days. Our little family of 3, along with our adored pooch, enjoyed beach walks (dog friendly) and relaxing on the deck. (First up gets the hammock!). The beach is just a short walk away, coffee shop close by and a large garden for the dog and all the amenities you need. Bliss.

We had a lovely time at this property. We thoroughly enjoyed the closeness of the dog-friendly beach and the great coffee place just up the road. The beds were comfy and the house really well equipped. Just wish we could have stayed longer!!

Beachside Bliss!
We had such a lovely stay in this cute and cosy cottage! Everything we needed was provided for and the extra little special touches for our pooch were greatly appreciated. Love that it was so close to the beach and relaxing and eating together on the verandah was a treat!

Perfect
I stayed here for my wedding weekend with my bridesmaids and it was just perfect, close to our venue, the beach and everything in the house was so beautiful and we had all our prep photos here and it was perfect for getting ready and plenty of room for the makeup artist and hairdresser. Originally we had another date but had to postpone our wedding and the house but it was already taken so the owner went out of his way to ask his other guests if he could move them forward for us and they said yes! It worked out great and I’m so thankful for that! It was absolutely perfect and I didn’t want to leave, felt like home.. thank you so much!

a Christmas to remember
Thank you David for providing such a wonderful place to stay over the Christmas break. It was absolutely perfect for our group of 4 including our fur-baby. Absolutely loved the short walk to the beach, lazy days on the front deck, and how quiet and peaceful the area was. Our 5 year old daughter particularly loved the trampoline in the backyard and the enclosed space (plus dog door) is perfect for pets. We're already planning our next stay later this year. We had a wonderful Christmas here.

Good weekend break!
The property was accurately described and very comfortable and close to the beach, kids park and coffee shop. 5 mins drive to the supermarket and village. It is a quiet relaxing place to unwind for a weekend or a week. It is kid-friendly and dog-friendly which is what made it very suitable for us. Thank you David.

The house inside is tiny. 3 large adults (or 2 adults and 2 small children) is the most that can comfortably stay here. The house is old and well used. It has an old style layout. The kitchen is well appointed but old style. Plenty of heating and very cosy in the cold. Everything works. If you were to make an improvement you would upgrade the bathroom.

Pleasant basic but on the small side. Very comfortable beds. Only possible to eat on exterior deck. Easy access to beaches. Owner was extremely cooperative when very bad weather necessitated a change of booking dates.

Charming old house
I like all the details and care of the owners for this property. The kitchen was perfectly equipped, the living room nice and cozy and the bedroom had very comfortable bed. I liked the blankets left for our dogs to put them on sofas, thank you!
