Nice hotel on Main Street. perfect for visiting downtown Chapala. Clean and attractive. Breakfast was ample with choice from 8 entries. Great shower and bed. Public parking around the corner and staff helped us with our luggage. The car was hit by another driver in the parking lot and the hotel manager negotiated with them to pay for damages. Good restaurant nearby El Fogon. Beautiful back yard.

Room was small. Hard to find at night. Signage was small.

We stayed in the penthouse suite. Loved everything about this property. Clean & Convenient location. Friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast was good.

Penthouse suite has two private bedrooms which is great. But, would be nice to have two bathrooms.

I notified the owner that I wanted to check out early. The owner said give him 2 days which I did. He did not tell me I had go through booking.com. When I went to check out he said the that I had to sort it out with booking.com. Well I went to booking.com and found out that needed 2 days notice to cancel, which i did not have. I believe the owner knew this but did not tell me We got Ivan to book us a cab. He got a kick back from the cab. It costs us twice as much as the cab coming back. Did not trust the owner to get us a cab to the bus station after that. There couple of other issues too. The owner of this hotel is the reason people are scared to go to Mexico. This was my 10 visit to Chapala, will not stay here again.

The place is very nice, clean an excellent location

not really the property, but since the city is repairing the street, it quite uncomfortable and we did not enjoyed completely our stay.

Breakfast was nice. Great location.

Suite rooms towards street have zero noise insulation, it feels like the bed is on the sidewalk so loud is everything. (Room 1). No valet, no free parking (well except on the street under trees with hundreds of birds), no help with the luggage.

Needed a coffee machine in the room and tea kettle inside room to make late night and early morning; they had communal one but that’s not the American and European way ; need cater for our needs; Nice to have a pool! Inform client about construction at front ;

Close to the malecón and plaza.
