Everything was great! Wish there was blackout curtains in master bedroom. As soon as the sun started to come up I woke up. To much sunlight in the bedroom. Everything was great, clean and the best part is the deck and beach.

Perfect oceanfront location. A little disappointed that all the pools were not open. Definitely will stay here again.

subject dated, living room furniture shows sign of wear, needs professional cleaning at minimum. overall condition of the unit was fair, nothing spectacular. overdue for an overhaul. not what i expected at all. i was ashamed that i invited my guest to come visit with us, as it was not the best impression of the properties at the Dunes.

Awesome location and sunrise ocean views! Loved hearing the sound of the waves so close. Enjoyed having access to the condo amenities as well. Condo was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for the four days there. The service with iTrip was seamless. I will definitely use them again!

We were very pleased with our accommodations at Kure Beach. Unit was beautifully renovated and furnished. The property owners were responsive to any needs/questions. And the view! Oh my it’s the closest to the ocean we have ever stayed and the master bedroom is oceanfront so we were lulled to sleep every night by the sounds of the ocean. The king mattress was comfortable, (new pillows would be helpful) the bathrooms were a good size and nicely appointed with everything you need. The kitchen was well stocked and even had some spices that other renters had left as well as coffee filters. :) The complex was very quiet. The outdoor pool was nice too. We enjoyed our stay so much we’re talking about going back again next year!

My husband and I had been looking for a place to stay on the beach that had easy access for our 2 little girls. One is 3, the other 1. So we wanted it to be super easy to enjoy the beach, but also have a great view for when we needed to head back for naps. This place was perfect for all of those things! It checked all the boxes. We loved how big the deck was for a family of 4. Would definitely stay here again. Kure beach is beautiful.

We really enjoyed being right on the beach - waking up each morning to the sound and sight of waves. The condo was stocked with everything we needed and was very comfortable. Some of the extras like games and beach chairs were very much appreciated.

We loved staying at this property. It was so easy to enjoy the beach from the comfort of the condo because of the large windows, spacious balcony, and high/comfortable outside chairs, not to mention being able to hear the ocean from the bedroom and living room. It couldn’t have been more convenient to get to the beach, use the outdoor hose/shower, get into the property, and park. The beach outside of the unit appeared to be less crowded than by the Kure Beach pier. There were plenty of restaurants/grocery stores within a 15 minute drive. Being so close to the aquarium was a plus. The kitchen had more than adequate dishes, cookware, utensils, etc. We didn’t have any need to communicate with the management company during our stay, but check in was easy. We would stay here again.

Literally steps from the beach and a very nice condo with everything you need! It has a huge balcony which is great to relax on if you need a break from the beach or like us had to come up for babies’ naptime. It’s in a quiet community with great amenities, but not far from the hustle and bustle of Carolina Beach. We did run into a few cleanliness issues at the condo, which the property manager was apologetic about and said they would take care of. I also recommended they replace the pillows in the bedroom which are pathetically thin Walmart pillows, and no pillow cases were provided for the extra pillows in the closet. The beach itself is extremely narrow and eroding away, which is obviously not the fault of the property but just something to be aware of if you’re used to wide beaches like Hilton Head. For us, having a small beach actually worked out great because we were traveling with an infant so it was an easy walk back and forth from the condo to the beach. We came for the 4th of July and it actually wasn’t too crowded! The ocean is pretty rough and not great for kids, but there are multiple pools in the community. The property manager was very easy to communicate which, but I did think it was sketchy that they said they’d give us an Amazon gift card in exchange for a good review. Just something to keep in mind while reading the other reviews :)

We loved our vacation time at Sand Castle. It was well maintained, immaculate and exactly as advertised. We would return in a heartbeat.

My family and I (2 adults, 1 child under 10) were looking to stay at the beach this year so we could go to the water when we wanted without hassle. This property is incredibly close to the waves with easy beach access. The pool was also very close and well maintained. We only went to the indoor pool once during the stay, but it was a great option to have if the weather didn’t cooperate. The property was clean, and the furniture was comfortable. There was plenty of space at the beach in front of the house, and it was a very quiet environment overall. We had a wonderful vacation and would recommend the property to others.

Loved this rental, felt like home away from home. Beautiful view of the ocean and very comfy condo. My kids loved it and we can’t wait to return for our next stay in Kure Beach.

Our stay was really great! The condo was steps to the beach, drinking our coffee on the porch right on the ocean was amazing! The beach was so quiet and relaxing! The condo was clean and there were plenty of amenities. Parking was great and all of the tenants were so quiet and friendly. We had a short drive to restaurants and the store. We enjoyed watching the sunset from Fort Fischer recreation park. Great stay!!

This was the perfect spot for our family. It was a safe, friendly place to enjoy lots of sand & waves. Waking up to morning sunrises from the master bed and balcony was breathtaking. No need for a sound machine when you can hear the waves all night! The master bed was very comfortable too. The condo was accurately advertised and pictured. We rented a few bikes to enjoy from a local company that delivered. The association indoor pool and hot tub was a bonus. The pool temp was perfect. If you’re looking for a relaxing family vacation spot, this is it!

This was an overdue girlfriend's week get away. The location was perfect, directly on the beach, quiet, peaceful yet close enough to area attractions and restaurants. The condo was perfect. Clean, exactly as it was described. We couldn't have gotten any closer to the beach. Check-in and out was simple and easy. We're already picking dates for next year !!!

Rental was nice. Some parts of property needs updating. Older property so problems with rust on outside of building. Problems with pests outside.

My wife and I spent a great week (Labor Day Week) in this property at Kure Beach. The property was clean, had all the needed amenities, had a great view of the ocean from both the master bedroom and family area, and very short easy access to the beach. It was nice to sit out on the ocean-facing deck and watch the waves roll in. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable, the shower had enough pressure and hot water. Those are my checkboxes and this property checked them all off. On thing that stood out to me was the great communication from the property manger. I texted them with several questions and they always answered promptly and helpfully with recommendations and advice. I know it's their job, but they seemed genuinely concerned that our stay was a good one. I would stay here again and recommend it to others without hesitation. I also recommend Lake Park Steakhouse which is nearby. We had a standout meal there. And if you plan on going to Kate's Pancake house on a Saturday morning, you should expect crowds, or maybe pick a different day :>)

Overall my family and I had a great 4 days at the beach here. Overall the apartment is generally nice but you can tell it may need some work soon The kitchen has most of what you need but no chef knife and a small cutting board. When cooking for a family you need those things. The appliance worked well enough. The floor boards are gorgeous but are starting to come apart in a few places. The pillows were flat and very uncomfortable. The rug in the kitchen looked kind of dingy. There are no blackout curtains in the master bedroom and the smaller room get a lot of light in the evening despite the shutters, so its hard to stay asleep in the morning or fall asleep early. That said the house was very clean and being right on the beach was amazing. For such an expensive apartment, I expected more. We did have a fun time though.

This lovely beach escape is well-appointed with all the right touches. Literally steps from the sand with a breathtaking view of the ocean, I was able to relax and enjoy my while feeling right at home. I had a few questions for the owners along the way, and appreciated the prompt, friendly communication. I'll definitely be back!

It doesn’t get more beachfront than this! Really enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. (I would recommend bringing extra black out curtains if you are a sensitive sleeper. The bedrooms only have thin curtains that let in a fair amount of light.)
