Our family enjoyed our stay at Karen’s cottage! The space was perfect for the four of us - cozy, clean, and welcoming. We were in town for the eclipse, and the outdoor space and fire pit were a perfect place for us to hang out and watch it! The cottage had everything we needed, and it’s close to many places to shop, eat, and play. Karen was an excellent host! If we’re back in the area, we would definitely stay here again!

Owner very responsive to questions about the property. Great location near the lake and close to Southern Tier Brewery and Peak and Peak. The unit had pretty much everything we needed. The only drawbacks the one and only TV in the living room is very small. It appears a previous renter ripped the cable connection out of the TV. The only option was to use the apps like Netflix. The Internet score from our children was A+ for speed. The instructions to open and lock the entrance keypad were incorrect. To open simply type in the four digit code provided. There is no need to hit the check button in the lower right corner. To lock the keypad simply hit the button with a lock on it. It took us several minutes to figure it out. The other things to point out was the unit smelled musty, the bathroom sink dripped the whole time, the furnace is very very loud when running. The bed in the master room is very small. The listing is for a queen I would say it's more of a double. The last suggestion for the owner is to provide additional bedding for the couch in the living room.

Quiet, peaceful cottage with a simple, appealing feel! Close to Southern Tier, groceries, and restaurants. Well equipped and host was responsive! Perfect getaway!

Property is in a good location, good size and has convenient fenced in yard. The floors were very clean but it did have cob webs and smelled a little musty. It is however very close to the lake so we expected some of the smell and a couple spiders. If you have toddlers it may not be the best place just because the doors are easily opened and the stairs are steep, but we bought a baby gate and just kept and eye on the doors. Communication was great and the house is set up well. Furniture is comfortable and neighbor hood is quiet.

The house was very clean. Loved the fence in yard for the dogs.
