My sisters and I take our mom on a trip every year. Tweetsie Ghost Train was our plan this year. Kick App View was our perfect home away from home. Wonderful home with lovely furnishings and an outstanding view. By far our best girls trip ever!!!

Our group of friends really enjoyed staying at Kick App. We enjoyed the deck, view, and hot tub. The kitchen was great and well stocked. Bed linens and towels were good quality. There was nothing missing and we would highly recommend. Location was good too.

House was perfect for our group of eight. Everyone had plenty of room. The location was great we were close to everything we wanted to do. The upstairs deck has a wonderful view Grandfather Mountain

This is probably the best place we have ever stayed. It was impeccably clean and had everything and anything we needed including numerous start up supplies (TP, paper towels, soap, trash bags, dishwashing tablets, etc.). We felt like we were in someone's home, not just a rental. I loved the books on the shelves and tables, all the decor, and the pictures. Our king bed was incredibly comfortable. On the nightstand there was even a little cube that had USB plugs and regular plugs that came in very handy. There were two scrap books that contained information regarding check out, local rules, and tons of pamphlets with things to do and see in the area. We had a blast playing ping pong and foosball. We also played some of the other games that were there. The labels for all the light switches were extremely helpful. The attention to detail regarding what vacationers would need was outstanding. Our first night we went out on the balcony about 3:30 am to watch the Perseid meteor shower; it was perfect viewing up in high country!

Amazing quiet house with beautiful view. Stayed for 4 nights and rarely left the property. Bed was really comfortable, tvs in every room with lots of streaming options, kitchen was best stocked of any I have ever stayed in. We cooked most meals rather than go out! Drive up and driveway is pretty steep angle so if we return in colder months we definitely would need 4WD. It’s clear the owners of this home love it and we did too. I have stayed in several rentals and something is always broken, missing, or needs a lightbulb or batteries. Not here - every detail was accurate and these owners have thought of everything The fresh air, Grandfather mountain in the distance and a million stars at night was just what we needed to recharge.

This is a clean well equipped rental with beautiful views in a quiet neighborhood. It had everything needed plus a well stocked kitchen. It’s in a great location not too far from all of the area attractions. My husband, kids, and I stayed in the 3 bedrooms on the main floor and my mother-in-law had her own area downstairs with her own living space and kitchenette. It’s a great floor plan for extended family.

We had a great stay in this beautiful home. There is plenty of space and it is in a great location with an amazing view over the mountains! We will definitely be back!

This is one of the best rental experiences I've ever had. Anything and everything you need is stocked. The property is spotless, and could easily fit two small families. The hot tub was large and clean. Even though it is right off a road, it felt very secluded and had a great view. I would love to return in the future!

My girls weekend away was absolutely fabulous, and this cabin was the perfect place!

We stayed at this fabulous home to attend a wedding. There was plenty of room for all eight of us! The views were breathtaking, and the home was so comfortable and relaxing. We will definitely stay here again!

Kick App View did not disappoint in any way. Age 20 to 80, we all had a great time. Used VRBO for 15 years or so, and this was the best equipped of all. We will be back. Don't miss Six Pence Pub in Blowing Rock.

Centralized location for hiking

This is a wonderful property that has great views and a fully stocked kitchen! Close to lots of restaurants, activities, and a winery! We will be back!

Kick App View was a perfect location for our family to explore the area. Plenty of activities for our active family all within 45 minutes; mountain coaster, ropes course, hikes, breweries, rafting, kayaking…etc. We even took a day trip to Asheville which was only an hour and a half away. Great cabin to relax and spread out in while being close to all the action. Highly recommend.

This was one of the nicest places we've rented in the mountains. 4 bedrooms with a working hot tub downstairs. One can tell the owners and management have done the little things that make a visit 5+. The kitchen is nicely stocked with all the needs for cooking and backing, something important to out group. The management company is very responsive and pleasant. The view of Grandfather Mountain is spectacular. I highly recommend this place and Carolina Cabin Rentals . . .

Great house with good view of Grandfather Mountain

We had such a wonderful, restful 5 nights here. The amenities were excellent, and the cabin was well stocked. We settled in quickly and easily and enjoyed our stay with a gorgeous view of Grandfather. We will be staying again. This felt as close to home as any place we’ve rented.

My family enjoyed our stay at Kick App View. The view is amazing! The house was nicely decorated. We spent time relaxing together and enjoyed the games provided by the owner. Definitely recommend this property.

The cabin itself was beautiful and location was great for our ski trip. Unfortunately the management company was the worst I've dealt with. They looked like they didn't even clean the property and LEFT A BAG OF DIRTY DIAPERS HANING IN ONE OF THE BEDROOMS and the dishwasher full of dirty dishes. Learned later that this may have been because the dishwasher either didn't work or they provided the wrong soap. They provided very little supplies in terms of soap, paper products, trash bags etc., if anything at all. Also despite saying they would provide, there were not towels for all the guests/bedroom's. While many of these individual issues are somewhat common renting, they seemed to hit every single one, leading to an overall experience worse than just about every other rental we've used. We heard similar stories from friends also renting from Carolina Cabin Rentals this season. Unless they make some changes to their practices, we will not be renting at one of their cabins again.

View was fabulous. We had snow and was beautiful sitting inside and watching it coming down. Picture perfect. Loved having two separate masters. Perfect for 2 couples vacationing together.

The house was great. We were 2 families of 3. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs. Each floor has a couch and loveseat, tv, gas fireplace, fridge, drink wear, burners to cook. There seems to be a few feet in between the floors which buffers a lot of noise. It was perfect for us. The only thing we didn’t like was that there is only 1 towel and wash cloth per person. There is a washer and dryer so we did a load every day in order to have clean towels and washcloths.

One of the most beautiful rentals we’ve stayed at! The location was perfect and close to everywhere we wanted to go. The view was INCREDIBLE. The kids loved the ping pong table, foosball table, mini cornhole and all the games. We loved sitting on the porch and relaxing and the kids really enjoyed filling up the gratitude jar. The property was immaculately clean and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. We loved the downstairs area and it felt very warm and cozy. All the little touches really made it feel special, from the blankets on the porch to the chilled glasses in the freezer. Would love to stay again! Definitely recommend to anyone…the pictures don’t do it justice!

The house worked well for us…. Having two living areas allowed for separation… those breaks from too much family. The ping pong table and fooze ball game were great. Plenty of kitchen equipment. We never used hot tub, but I am sure it would be nice. I greatly appreciated the many hooks to hang things. Beds were comfy and water pressure in baths good.
