The condo itself needs some serious updating. Very outdated, cracks in the floor, bedding is not as pictured in the listing, bed is not super comfortable (could use a foam pad or something). Could use a repaint on the interior and the exterior door. That being said- the unit was clean and the balcony is the showstopper. Very spacious and we enjoyed spending time out there, as well as in the pool and hot tub. The location is also great- walking distance to Alys and Rosemary.

This was escalated to a management level according to Mckinzie but we have yet to hear back in over a week about why we were not notified in any way about a contractor entering our room without permission. Also Benchmark did not only did not notify us of a contractor entering the space but they did not send a new code so we could be secure in the room. Roaches enter the space daily under the front door or through the holes in the wall of utility closet. Owner knows of this issue but does not make it a priority to fix the door sweep or holes in the utility room walls. The mattress in the space is 18 years old and the owner refuses to upgrade or add a topper after several reviews stating how uncomfortable the mattress is. The owners response was."comfort is a personal preference". Plan on bringing bug/roach spray and using it daily. Also plan on buying a queen mattress topper so you have a good nights rest so you can enjoy being active in the area. I have reached out to both Benchmark and the owner through Benchmark about these issues but nothing changes but they collect their fee and owner collects his rent. I would not suggest renting any space that uses Benchmark as the management company or a property that is owned by Garrett Realty.

Benchmark property management allowed contractor to have our room code without our knowledge. I spoke with Mckinzie with Benchmark and this escalated this to a management level but we have yet to hear back from them in over a week. Owner knows the mattress is 18 years old and chooses not to upgrade or add a topper stating,"comfort is personal preference" even though many reviews state the bed is uncomfortable. Reviewer Comments: The Good - Love the 30A Beach area has so much to do and love the location of this rental. First time in this rental but not in this building. Paint on walls is crisp and cabinets are new but peeling vinyl coverings on most of the door tops. The Travertine floors are terrific touch to this space. The lanai is the best feature of this space with a wide view of the landscape and ocean backdrop. Comfort measures such as HVAC worked great and no problems with doors function. The door entry lock system worked great with no issues. Storage was ample with lots of drawers and closet space to store your items. Bathroom was clean and supplied with toiletry items. The Keurig Coffee maker was a nice touch as well. The counter top is nice granite and the appliances are newer not showing age. The microwave works but a larger one would be better for heating larger items. The lanai furniture was seasoned but still comfortable and a nice touch. The Bad - Some of the disappointing items I found that the box spring mattress set is 18 years old which I investigated after my wife and I woke up with body aches from a lumpy bed. I found live cockroaches roaming kitchen and bathroom areas on several nights. We had no food in the room only ate out. The bathroom fixture has a wiring issue as one side lights up when "on" and the other side lights up when switch is turned "off". The dimmer switch for the hanging light does not dim. The lights in the entry way are miss matched. The hot tub is heated but does not circulate so bugs, debris, other body fluids etc does not get pumped through the system/strainer so who knows how clean the water is your sitting in. The toilet paper provided is the cheapest they could provide and would recommend bringing your own as they only provide one roll anyway. I emailed Benchmark but did not hear back from them on these issues. However Benchmark did communicate well with check in/check out procedures prior to and after stay.

30A area has lot to offer. Nice views from the patio with good comfort controls. Paint on walls were crisp and a nice. color. Travertine flooring is a nice touch. Storage was great with plenty of hanging and drawer compartments. Door entry lock was easy to use. A large refrigerator along with other appliances such as a Kureg was on site. Bathroom was well equipped and supplied with clean towels.

Since there are no hotels in the area except for one high end one, this one room condo met the needs for a short business trip. Was nice that the unit was within walking distance of the main shopping and restaurant area

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time! Wish we could have stayed longer, hope to come back soon! The balcony was the best in the whole building, top floor, huge, private and a view of the whole beach!

1. Our major complaint is that our access to the BEACH SHUTTLE was literally cut off. A fence was erected in front of our shuttle stops. There was a gate with a PIN pad but we were not given the access code. We spent quite a bit of time in the rental office trying to remedy this problem. Although the ladies in the office were very kind and hospitable, they were unable to give us a solution to accessing the shuttle stops. What we were told was that we had to walk between the fence and buildings of neighboring properties, through the landscaping (bushes, trees, plants, etc.) in order to reach our shuttle stops. With beach bags, chairs, umbrellas, etc., this is unacceptable!

2. Also, beware that the BEACH SPACE allotted for these Seacrest Beach rentals is very limited and crowded. This is because local homeowners have claimed (legally) the beach from the high tide line to their house and will not allow tourists to walk on the sand except near the water’s edge.

3. In addition, the BED was uncomfortable and slid around the floor very easily.

I knew that for the price the condo would be just a small simple place but we were very shocked to see how old and outdated the place was. I didn’t think that the main Rosemary strip of accommodations would have anything so basic with the furniture being less than par. Location was amazing and the view was great. Hopefully upgrades are in their future soon!

Your property is disgusting! It’s a Crappy inn that was spray painted white to match the richy section down the road. No garbage bags, used toilet paper, the pool needs a net since the pool boy sucks. I would have totally cleaned it for you bums! The easement access to the beach was hilarious. You can’t even roll a cooler because the over privileged rich idiots who have lost there humanity created all these stupid rules. Oh....so sorry the sound of my cooler hurt your stupid ear holes. No worries you’ve all got a MASSIVE cat 5 hurricane on the way. Wait until you hear that noise. The actual beach had WAY to many humanoids on it. The sidewalks are WAY to small for the amount of creatures on it. My wife broke her leg on a rickety bike that we rented because a nimwhit opened their door on her while she was riding past them. The driver obviously proceeded to drive off because humanity sux. Your place is worth $100 dollars tops for the whole week. Thanks

It was a nice place, but needed lots of freshening up. The furniture was a little dingy. Pillows were not very good quality. Towels and bed linens were good. View and location were best thing about this rental.
