We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chuck and Jennifer’s place. The listing was exactly what we were looking for with ease of entry, communication, check in and all aspects of the listing were as described. Close to pier and the beach was nice and quiet. We would certainly go back. The one gripe I have is…..(which is NOT a complaint just an observation) Construction at the property is ongoing, didn’t seem to be very thought out or much preparedness with whoever the conctractor is. Tools were left laying out overnight, bags of grout were just laying around, overall they just seemed messy and disorganized… with many different small projects going on at once. I’m sure they are trying to get everything done before the season starts, so this wouldn’t stop me from renting Waters Edge again.

Water’s Edge has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It’s spacious, clean, has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings and a spectacular view of the ocean from the master bedroom, the living room and the balcony. You are steps from the beach with a private walkway. Having a washer and dryer in the unit and linens provided is an appreciated convenience. The hosts have thought of every detail and are very friendly and easy to communicate with. We have rented this unit twice and highly recommend it.

The hosts are great and stayed in contact the entire time. The view from the 3rd floor was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. We particularly liked the indoor pool and hot tub, which was why we chose this VRBO. It certainly helped to entertain the 9 and 10 year olds. The off season price was great. Lovely condo, and great location. Restaurants nearby, and the building has a heated pool and hot tub. The walk down to the beach is short and the views from the balcony are great.

It was a beautiful condo. Loved the colors in the kitchen. The view was absolutely gorgeous. The sunrise was indescribable. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The worst part was having to leave and it was pouring the rain. Thank you for allowing us to stay. It was memorable.

We had a great stay here. The unit itself was very clean and exactly as described. Plenty of beach chairs and stuff for the kids to bring to the beach. Kitchen was stocked with more than enough utensils and equipment. Even had a crock pot. There was plenty of spices already there as well as some coffee and small creamer cups. Communication with owners was easy and received quick replies. There are 2 parking passes provided for you. The door code for entry was a little confusing at first, but got the hang of it after the first day. The building itself could be a little cleaner, and some attention to the indoor pool area is needed. Overall a great stay. Will stay there again. Book with confidence.

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was very spacious and accommodating for our family of 5 adults. The ocean front view from the floor to ceiling windows in the living room and primary suite were absolutely beautiful! The condo had so many helpful items: Coffee filters, hand soap, paper products, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. The owners were super responsive and easy to get in touch with for any of our questions or needs. The condo community was awesome! Such a nice and friendly group of people. Lots of "Hello's", "Thank-you's", and someone always held the elevator and doors for us when our hands were full. The pool was crystal clear and never over crowded. The parking across the street was not a problem for us and there was always plenty of available spaces. We will definitely stay there again.

Overall we were pretty impressed with the accommodations. Everything was as advertised and i would definitely rent again. Thank god for the awesome kitchen because the dinning out selections were not the greatest.

We loved staying at this property! The owners have thought of so many details that ease your stay and were extremely responsive when I had questions like type of coffee maker (they have both a Keurig and a traditional). They even had an ironing board and iron which I never expected to use, but ended up needing. The furniture is comfy and suited our group well! Our children loved the sand toys and loved having both the beach and indoor and outdoor pools to choose from. We stayed on the boardwalk last year, but didn’t miss it this year. We went down to the Boardwalk on the last evening and found parking easily, despite it being fireworks and live music night. We also made it down to Kure Beach to check out the pier, for market day, and for the Storytime with the Princesses. The only suggestion I would have another guest also mentioned. Our toddler figured out how to open the front door from the inside in less than 1 afternoon. It would be great it there were an indoor latch that could be fastened at night to prevent them from getting outside with adults realizing it.

No complaints, property was just as described, perfect spot to get to the beach easily and we all enjoyed indoor pool and hot tub at night and on rainy days, walking distance to plenty of food spots and bars for adults. Would definitely stay again as all 6 of us were comfy and happy here! Thanks so much!!!

We had an awesome time. The condo was just like pictures. When we walked in and saw the view of the beach we all awed over it. We had kids and adults with our group, and we all enjoyed ourselves. There was plenty of things to do around the area for all of us. My favorite time was watching the sun come up with a cup of coffee. Hated to leave.

This 3rd floor unit has all the conveniences of home! Spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable, well-stocked, and the best part is the spectacular OCEAN VIEW from both the master bedroom and the living room. You are steps from the beach, but with the beautiful expansive balcony overlooking the ocean you don’t even need to get sandy feet ;) The owners are friendly and very responsive. We love Carolina Beach and staying at Water’s Edge. We’ve already booked our return trip! Thank you Chuck and Jennifer.

The property opens out right onto beach access, parking across the street is convenient. Restaurants and grocery are a very short drive away.

Our family of five loved our stay! The condo was beautifully decorated and well maintained. The owners provided all the comforts of home and had many supplies on hand that we didn’t expect. There were kitchen and cleaning supplies, tp, soap, and the like that were much appreciated. I also appreciated that linens were included in the rental cost. Carolina Beach offers so many dining choices, but we cooked most meals in after long days on the beach. Everything in the kitchen worked great and we had enough ice for the week without having to buy it. Primary shower was wonderful and the king size bed was very comfortable. We traveled with a toddler, preteen and teen. The bedroom set up was perfect and we never heard any of our neighbors during our stay. Kids loved having two pools to choose from. We would happily stay here again and I would recommend this rental! Some things to know, parking is across the street and there is a lane for loading in front of the building. Luggage carts are provided but check in and check out times are busy. There are only 2 handicap parking spaces close to the building entrance, more in the lot across the street. However, getting to the crosswalk with a walker or wheelchair would be a challenge. The only thing we missed was a baby gate to keep the toddler contained.

We loved staying at this property. It has a great view! Owners checked in during the week to make sure we were doing good and if we had any questions. The apartment is stocked with anything you need for cooking. Having laundry in the unit helped us to go home with everything clean. Made for easy unpacking. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time. Great location and we loved the view of the beach and ocean! Loved your high top table and chairs on the patio! Also it rained a couple days and the indoor pool was great for my 3 granddaughters. Fun time!

My husband, 5 year old and I really enjoyed our time here. A convenient walk to the beach and my kid loved having the pools. Several restaurants and ice cream were within walking distance. There aren't sidewalks, but there is room to walk on grass and there is a bike lane. The tiki bar was easily accessible with a short walk on the beach (get there early for dinner). The sunrise is absolutely gorgeous. My husband is not an early riser, but he even got up every morning to see it. We would definitely come back.

The unit was very clean with a great ocean view. The parking and access to the beach were convenient. There were many options for eating out, but the fully stocked kitchen also allowed us to easily lunch in and cook in if preferred. The unit was nicely decorated without being overdone, and the layout for 4 adults was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

The place was very nice. The owners were very helpful. The ocean view was amazing. We enjoyed watching the pelicans and the waves from the balcony. We will be back.

Nice to sit on patio or in living room and look right out at the beach as well as to walk to beach. Had plenty of kitchen supplies, dishes, pots and pans, spices, etc. which was great. But there were almost too many things. Lots of stuff in most cabinets and drawers, had to move stuff to higher shelves to have room for our groceries. It wasn’t the owner’s fault but the “cleaners” hadn’t done a very good job of cleaning. I found garbage under one of the beds, dust on many surfaces, beach chairs were sandy (we rinsed them off before returning them to patio), silverware tray needed a good cleaning out (which I did plus rewashing silverware and many dishes). We had been led to believe that construction project in the building would not be noisy and that beach reconstruction was complete. But neither of these turned out to be true. Owner may have been mislead by building management. Outdoor pool was closed which we were disappointed about. Indoor pool excessively chlorinated which kept us out of it. There was a drawer missing from the refrigerator when we arrived. None of us noticed it sitting on top of the cabinets. Owners said “top of crisper drawer” was missing after we left. We never saw a top on the crisper drawer, it was just obvious that a drawer was missing. Despite all this, my husband and I had a wonderful week at the beach with our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. Although we had fun this was not a good neighborhood for walking as there were no sidewalks. Yes, we loved walking on the beach but there was no safe place to push a baby stroller.
