We recently stayed at the cabin for a yearly event in the area. It was exactly as described in the listing and then some! We enjoyed our evenings on the covered porch listening to the sounds of nature. We did have some bad weather one day but not to worry the back up generator at the property kicked in immediately and we didn’t skip a beat in the cabin. We come down yearly for an automotive event in Fontana and there is lots of room to turn around a car trailer and even covered parking! The road to get to the cabin is a narrow dirt road that’s only about 1 mile off of Rt28. The only little hiccup we had was when we were leaving, we were asked to take our garbage with us upon leaving the cabin and bring it to a local trash/recycle center. Being that it was a Sunday morning the center was not open so we got stuck with trash in our vehicle until we found a place to get rid of it. Other than that everything was great!

The property is pure mountain bliss. We had room for our car trailer and the barn is perfect for hanging out and wrenching. The cabin is a warm comfy home away from home with every thing you could possibly need available. This was our second time staying here, and we're excited to return!!

We often visit the area and we usually use vrbo. This cabin is one of the best we have stayed. Just absolutely beautiful. By far one of the best places and experiences yet. Thanks for letting us stay.

My family and I stayed here a few days. The property is very welcoming and has a lot of cool features. I brought my Porsche for the Rennsport rally and it made it up the gravel driveway without any issues. The barn was very cool. Thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay here. I have tried to think of anything that was not right on par, and the only thing I can think of that might matter to someone else was the distance to town. It isn't far, but it is still about a 30-minute drive due to the many curves and current road construction. However, this didn't bother us since we wanted privacy and seclusion. Just know in advance and enjoy the awesome views, especially around Stecoah Gap. The home was beautiful, immaculate, and very comfortable. While we did not cook much, if we had wanted to, every possibly needed kitchen tool was available. Yes, we would definitely stay here again!

This is a preliminary review because vehicle troubles have delayed my trip! But communicating with Michael has been excellent and I’ll be staying at the property in a few months.

Very nice, comfortable and clean cabin with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Perfect location for enjoying the twisty roads in NC. Loved the large patio. Great fire pit as well. This cabin had everything we needed and then some. We would stay at this cabin again when we return to the area. Host was very responsive to all our questions before we arrived and during our stay. I received responses to all questions within minutes of asking. Highly recommend!

House was great, loved it's rustic nature. Very well appointed, had everything we needed. Very much appreciated the large parking area and barn for keeping the truck/trailer/bikes out of the weather. Would definitely stay there again. We could spend a month in the area riding all of the awesome roads and never ride the same one twice.

We stayed with a group of friends at the end of Aug'23. Very peaceful, beautiful location and 30 min from tail of the dragon. House was spotless and decorated like a Resort. We were all comfortable and everythjng you need is provided. Owners very responsive, communication excellent making for worry-free stay. The only caution I would mention is the thick large gravel on the driveway, which was a bit tricky on bikes. We were all seasoned riders so we managed. Once it is packed down more it will probably be fine. All in all, A++ will stay again when we go back.

It was a great place to stay! The property was amazing and there was plenty of parking for a truck and trailer! Highly recommend staying here for a nice get away!

Property was perfect. Location was very quiet and we watched birds, deer and rabbits. Close to Fontana Dam and Tail of the Dragon. Huge barn to park. Cabin is well furnished with all you need. Loved it and hope to stay here again

We had a wonderful long weekend here with our 2 vizslas! Such an easy check in & check out process & a BEAUTIFUL property. We really enjoyed drinking coffee on the wrap around porch & just listening to the silence around us. Easy access to the Dragon & the Cherohala Skyway was a big plus to thoroughly enjoy the twisty mountain roads in our zippy mod-ed GTI! The home itself was perfect- definitely the best kitchen we’ve utilized at many VRBOs over the years. It rained a little during our stay, but there was plenty to do. We reignited a joy in doing jigsaw puzzles that were provided here. We would love to come back and stay again in the future! 10/10 would recommend!

We very much enjoyed staying at this cabin. Check in was a breeze. The cabin was clean and well stocked. It rained almost the whole time we stayed but there was plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 dogs to kick back and relax. The dogs especially loved the covered deck. We did a rock hunt set up by a previous guest but could only find 5 of the 7 rocks! My only issue was the bed in the Moose room was uncomfortable but that may have to do with my arthritis more than anything else. Check out was simple and didn’t require more than reasonably expected.

We loved this place! Everything was as advertised or even better. The home is beautiful, comfortable and immaculate. We will be back. Great value too!

This is our second time staying in this lovely cabin and the second time truly was the charm(again.) This cabin comes with everything a visitor to the beautiful mountains could want. We were thrilled with how quick the water heated up in both bathrooms, especially the one upstairs. In addition the water pressure was amazing. There is a fully stocked kitchen, and although we both agreed that if we were going to be doing any heavy duty cooking, we would want to bring our own pans (the ones in the cabin have been well loved) the ones that were there were perfect for our limited needs. I especially liked the full set of red dishes provided for use. We brought a box of fireplace logs to use in the wood burning fireplace. It was enjoyable to have a fire available. Do not worry if you are a fireplace novice. There are detailed instructions on how to use it available at check in and in the cabin itself. The beds were so soft and comfortable, and the bedding felt wonderful to collapse in after a long day of traveling around the area seeing the sights. Dane was super responsive to any questions we had. Not that there will be much need to check in as there are very detailed instructions throughout the cabin. This is definitely our go-to stop when we are in the Robbinsville area. We are never disappointed and you won't be either.

Everything said about this place in VRBO was correct. It is a very nice place and very clean. The only down fall is that there is nothing around the place. There is only Robbinsville and that’s not much to talk about. You have to drive a long way to be anywhere. But for bikers it’s in a perfect location. It is a very nice cabin, and we did have a great time there, but we were there to ride motorcycles not to shop.

The cabin is perfect for families or friends. It has ample room with all the essentials both indoors and out. Clean and located a short drive to food and recreation..yet remote enough to watch hummingbirds and listen to sounds of nature. Bonus that they allow pets..our 2 dogs live the porch.. This was a return visit for our family and will definitely plan to stay again next year.

Cabin with large, covered deck provided a nice place to relax a few days.

The cabin was clean and inviting. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning, having breakfast and watching the hummingbird. We were able to adjusting the temperature in the cabin for our comfort. Since we're over 65 (at least), we found getting up and down the stairs a challenge, which might be something that could be included in the description.

We chose this house because it was close to Fontana village for miatas at the gap. This home was awesome. It was very clean and well maintained. The large wrap around porch was a great place to enjoy your morning coffee and relaxing in the evening. We look forward to staying there again.

This place was amazing. The location was perfect for riding motorcycles in the Smoky Mountains. House is located just off the Moonshiner 28. The house was amazing. Clean, comfortable, and all the amenities you could ask for. The Barn was very nice and a great place to keep the bikes out of the rain. This place had many things to use and do on the property. Will definitely come back and stay again.

This beautiful home is more accurately described as a house than a cabin. It is clean, contemporary and well outfitted. It is sited in a beautiful wooded are with plenty of parking space and a covered barn. You can't go wrong here! We will be back.

This property is so beautiful and peaceful. We appreciated being able to add the additional bedroom downstairs to our stay, it made the perfect fit for multiple couples. Plenty of room to be comfortable, although we usually spent most of our time on the huge beautiful deck. Thank you for sharing this wonderful cabin...it made our trip more enjoyable.
