We drove from East Texas to meet my brother from New Mexico and had a wonderful time. Even though it's a drought/low water time this year the water at the cabin was plenty deep and beautiful to enjoy swimming or fishing. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. We plan on trying to come back again.

This was perfect for our family getaway! The access to the beautiful Nueces river was perfect. We had a great view, got to grill outside and enjoy the evenings. Will definitely return next summer.

We love this property and return every year. We have the best family vacation. We cook out, fish, swim and enjoy the family time. The water is clear, cold and the A frame has private river access. This is our summer oasis and we will return year after year. Nathan, the caretaker, is very friendly and helpful. The owner is responsive and the property is just as advertised.

This was our second year staying at this property and continue to love it. The other homes on the property are more updated but the outside deck and patio is what makes me love this one. Will be back again for sure!

My kids and I really enjoyed this place! It was right on the river, had plenty of outdoor space for us to play, cookout, and make smores. The house itself was perfect.

Best vacation ever- so relaxing, great river access, quiet and private. The house was great, Nathan the property manager was super helpful!!

We had the perfect vacation! The Nueces River is just a few stairs away. We visited when it was at a perfect level to kayak. We put in upstream and paddled back to the house and also took a trip downstream from the house. There is a nice deep swimming hole right there no need to drive anywhere. Plenty of fish, birds, and other wildlife about to enjoy. In the mornings you can enjoy the sunrise over the river. Property is very well maintained, stocked, and exactly as pictured. Great fire ring with chairs to gather in the evening. Picnic tables, chairs, even a playground area available. Nathan the caretaker does a great job! He greeted us when we arrived and was available when we had questions. We enjoyed our stay and will definitly plan a return trip in the future!

Great cabin with excellent location on the river. Kenneth was very attentive to make sure that we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We will book again for next summer

The really special part of the cabin is the deep water access even during the severe drought Texas is experiencing. We had an excellent stay at the cabin.

Love the place but I do have a suggestion for the A-frame house it’s badly do for AC upgrades and suggest that you take the one out the kitchen and move it to the window left of the kitchen table so it doesn’t make the screen room so hot. Other than that. Place is freaking awesome

My family travels here every year and it never disappoints! This is our most favorite place and we enjoy every minute of our stay. The property is perfect and the host and caretaker are friendly and helpful.

Best river vacation spot we have ever stayed at. The house is amazing as well, very clean and comfortable. Water access was great and the river section is nice and deep. We will for sure be going back next year.

River was very good right in front of the cabin. and it was a nice view off porch area.

Location is good, with easy access to lots of swimming spots (between chalk bluff or camp wood). Peaceful and well kept grounds with lots of seating areas to enjoy. Prime spot with direct river access that seemed ok even with low flow due to drought. Would stay again.

Well maintained, clean, plenty of amenities and a variety of different things for kids to do! Already planning next year’s trip there!

Great place to visit and hang out, the water hole was wonderful for little kids and for adults and bigger kids to explore. We enjoyed how close the water is to the house and easy access for all day fun! We saw deer and lots of fish/catfish. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful spot perched above the Nueces River. The quick and easy access to the river pit us in touch with the beautiful blue hole teaming with fish life and some of the clearest and healthiest river we’ve ever seen! Enjoyed our time fishing, kayaking, swimming, and walking the river’s edge. Amenities were perfect to afford you all the time outdoors you could imagine. Thank you! We hope to be back!

This is our 3rd time staying at this property. I wouldn’t change a thing. The house is fully furnished with anything you would ever need on your vacation. Beautiful views and great swimming hole! Love it there.

The property is absolutely perfect. Quiet. Beautiful. Management is attentive, courteous, and very kind. I will definitely consider this place again the next time I need some time away for a quiet and peaceful retreat.

The house is even more beautiful than what you see in the pictures. The area by the river is fantastic, and gives an unique experience. I would especially recommend this place for families with kids. Our daughters had a blast in a little house in the yard. Very well equipped with floaters, games, books and more. The host was very kind and always checking everything was OK. Looking forward to go back!
