Everything we look for in a vacation home, it was perfect.

We had a great stay. Place is very clean. Other than a hiccup with a boiler pilot light, the stay was very pleasant. First time on Spider Lake. Very nice lake.

Wonderful place and hosts. Always got back to us if we had questions at a timely manner. Will be back for sure!!

Everything was great and as listed.

The Boat house deck is the place to be. Perfect spot for the sunset or just sitting around looking at the lake. We brought our boat to fish, wake board, and tube. The lake has specific hours for it but those rules I think keep the lake quiet relatively. It seems the loons like the rules too. You hear them consistently throughout the day. There are more loons on this lake than I have seen around the area.

Comfy, clean cabin on a pristine northern WI lake. Great place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. Scott and Kelly were helpful up to and through our stay.

Super clean, comfortable cabin on beautiful forested lot. Spider Lake is wonderful for pontoon cruising and cabin ogling. We didn’t have any luck fishing but it’s too early to expect that. All three bedrooms have comfortable beds, we did not end up using any of the finished space in the basement, but it would be good overflow space for guests or kids. The fridge was completely empty, which we really appreciate, and there are minimal spice/oil supplies etc so just bring what you need. (Tons of cooking and bake ware on hand) All of our questions were answered quickly and this VRBO has the least amount of checkout tasks of any stay we’ve had. Enjoy!

We enjoyed 3 very nice fall days up at Spider Lake. The cabin is very well appointed and has a great view of the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the deck by the water and going for walks around the lake. Scott and Kelley are excellent hosts and promptly responded to our questions. We look forward to our next visit.

Our stay at Windsong was amazing!! From the moment we unlocked the door to the last turn of the knob as we left the property it was exactly as described and much nicer in person than the pictures depicted. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with all the amenities of home. The views from the windows of the house were amazing and the boathouse deck was spectacular. The deck chairs were surprisingly comfortable and by far our favorite spot for our morning coffee and our evening nightcaps to watch the sunsets. The water is so clear we saw deep reflections of the stars in it. We are definitely planning a return visit.

Great cabin on a great lake! Family time boating, swimming, fishing and relaxing at the best rental in then Northwoods! Garmisch USA near Cable and Lost Land Lake Lodge offer German and traditional Northwoods food with scenic views. The cabin has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

This was our second stay at this wonderful cabin. The thoughtful touches (grill ready to go, wood for the fireplace and fire pit, kayaks and canoe) were much appreciated. Spider Lake is the perfect size for half day paddle adventures. The roads nearby are smooth blacktop and low traffic for family bike riding. Thank you for a week of great memories.

We LOVED our time at Windsong! From the moment we drove up hearing loons calling on the lake, every moment was beautiful! The cabin is comfortably appointed with furniture and decor, and everything you need in the kitchen for meals. The patio and decks provide beautiful relaxation with amazing views and frequent loon calling and fish jumping. The lake is serene and gorgeous wooded shoreline, so clear and clean for swimming and recreation, and we enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding (brought our own) with the loons and otters. Close to great hiking and mountain biking trails, and road biking along rural roads around the lake area (saw more bikes and walkers than cars). Scott and Kelley were so helpful throughout the entire experience, above and beyond other VRBO hosts we've had. Highly recommend!

Rented Scott & Kelley’s place for the second year in a row, this time joined by our daughter and her husband (and dog). Everything worked great; the boathouse deck with its fire pit was the highlight. The lake is beautiful for swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing… A most enjoyable week.

My family loved this property. It has so much to offer from beautiful setting, wonderfully maintained home, lake activities, great deck with views and fire pit. Lots to do on a rainy day, ping pong, darts and a multitude of games. Will rent again.

We were able to merge ourselves with the woods and lake.

A classic Northwoods cabin. Great decorations go right along with the log cabin. The deck overlooking the lake is fantastic Cleanliness of the house was spotless and our hosts answered all of our questions and took care of all of our needs. We use the wood-burning fireplace every evening and the hosts even left us a special surprise – makings for s’mores.
