Beautifully updated and attention to detail outstanding! Comfortable, clean and high quality amenities. Perfect location on the island. Only two issues: No guest pass was at security gate for Fripp Island access, and there was remodel construction activity on adjoining unit. Overall, we love the place and feel that the owner and property manager were responsive and welcoming. We’re looking forward to our next visit!

Only thing I would change is the glass door shower - add a floor mat for safety and hand bars

Lovely Beach Club Villa - my family and I stayed here for our children's fall break and loved it! Conveniently located, clean, and tastefully decorated. We were very happy with our stay here and would definitely consider booking with Carol again.

The property was great, nicely decorated, had everything you needed, my husband enjoyed fishing, which was right outside the screened in patio.

This is a terrific place to stay! Very comfortable and well equipped. Loved the games, extra pillows, and blankets! The screened in porch was a bonus with a wonderful view of the channel and marsh!

From the moment walked in I knew we were going to like the Majors Retreat. It was very welcoming, clean and a great layout. The views of the marsh from the screen porch were great, and listening to the birds in the morning while drinking coffee was so relaxing. The kitchen had every item you could need, the bathrooms were nice size and I liked the updated master bath. We were centrally located on the island,and renting a golf cart made it very easy to get around. Carol was an amazing host! Great communication and offered great suggestions for things to do on the island. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Fripp!!

Center of island, close to everything. Shopping was very good. Just enjoyed riding the golf cart, and viewing nature. The place was wonderful!!!

We absolutely loved our stay! Villa was extremely clean and absolutely beautiful. Pictures are just like as in person! Carol was so helpful and kind! Would hands down come back and stay here again. Literally in the heart of Fripp Island could honestly walk to beach, pool, store etc… Love the golf cart rides every night and seeing all the deer even all through the day. Thank you Carol for creating such an amazing vacation!

Can’t say enough good things. The host was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed ahead of time (and we booked just one week in advance). The home was super clean and dog friendly which was great for our pups. Location was great and we will definitely be returning in the future!

The condo was exactly as the pictures showed. We loved being on the end unit of the bottom floor. My husband and I enjoyed drinking a cup of coffee, sitting in the porch, talking to the deer as they walked right up to us! Our Boston Terrier loved talking to the deer too! Just a great place to relax and enjoy Fripp!

Centrally located and so nice! Came with linens, towels, beach towels, two chairs, WiFi, plates, utensils, washer and dryer, first floor level so it was super convenient to get set up and leave too! I would recommend bringing games or things to do if it rains.

This was our first time visiting Fripp and I chose this home based on other reviews. It was an awesome location right in the middle of everything, it was very clean, the renovations were lovely, and we had everything we needed. Our fur baby got to come too and she loved seeing the dear right off of our back porch. I would highly recommend this property to others.

Condo location perfect! We’ve stayed in a lot of places over the years at Fripp and this was one of the best yet! A+ all around. I’d definitely stay here again!

This was our 6th year being a Fripp. We have stayed at different properties each time. This one by far the cleanest and most well stocked place we have been at. You can’t beat the location. For a family of 5 or less don’t hesitate to book here. You will not regret it.

We had a great time for our first stay on Fripp island. The condo is exactly as described. It was clean, updated, and comfortable. Also, Great that we can bring our dog! The condo is centrally located to the pool areas and beach access across the street.

Majors Retreat was the perfect location on Fripp. Easy walk to the beach and pools, communal dock is where we caught our first fish, lots of alligator sightings, nicely decorated and happy with all the work they put into remodeling. We rented a golf cart which the owner assisted with recommendations for company’s and had so much fun cruising around all week, especially to the nature center and kids pool. We ate off the island in Port Royal one night at FishCamp on 11th street and it was delicious. We will definitely be back!

The inside is clean and pest free. Great for a small family. You could sometimes hear noises from other rooms but that is to be expected being in the same building. On the first floor so it is easy to let your dog out. Hostess was very organized and told us all the check in/check out processes clearly and succinctly. Hostess left us a welcome wine and seashell!

This host will not work fairly with you if a hurricane threatens your visit. We booked 8 nights. She refunded us only 1/3 of our total expense for just the ONE night we were able to stay due to hurricane Ian. She offered us this partial refund or we could rebook BUT only until February….it was September, it just gets colder in the Carolinas until spring. So we took a chance. Traveled all the way from Wisconsin with two small kids and two dogs. Spent one night and the governor of South Carolina recommended everyone get off the barrier islands. We had no choice but to leave. The unit is on the 1st floor. Fripp Island is only 3 feet above sea level. When Ian was making its descend on Florida and heading toward the Carolinas we messaged her several times asking for advice since she was on the island herself. No responses. My guess is she was busy relocating herself off the island. Her response 3 days later was “I’m sorry you cut your stay short”. She also recommended trip insurance…trip insurance DOES NOT COVER hurricanes in this area. Read the fine print. Even VRBO took action against her account: “We want to assure you that we have taken appropriate action on this advertiser’s account. Please note that due to privacy laws, we are not permitted to disclose any action taken regarding this situation.” VRBO was even encouraging refunds by waiving their host fees during the time of Ian. Many hosts gave full refunds. There are better hosts to work with!

Staying at the property was fantastic! The views were great and the home was clean and up-to-date. Communication with the host was also exceptional. Even though we had some issues due to the unexpected weather, Carol was quick to communicate with us and help us in resolving the issue. Would definitely book this place again!

Our first visit to Fripp. This condo was perfectly located to enjoy everything the island offfers. We rented a golf cart and so happy we did. Took advantage of the screened porch to enjoy coffee in the mornings and watch wildlife while the sun come up. We would rent here again, for sure!

The unit we rented was very nicely furnished and decorated! Was conveniently located and very close to the Beach Club (virtually across the street). But being winter, not much was open at the Beach Club. Fripp is very low key and laid back, unlike Myrtle or the Charleston area. A good area to just relax and unwind! Carol (owner) was very accommodating and easy to work with!

Couldn’t have asked for a better long weekend getaway! The place was clean, nice and had a great view!

This was a very clean and well stocked unit. It was everything that is was said to be. The communication was excellent with the owner and we had no issues during our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Downfall - tv in family room instructions for remotes confusing. Never did figure it out. Two big spots on master bedroom rug.

Wow, just WOW! This little villa was such a sweet place to stay. It was very peaceful, and relaxing. It was just what we needed. Being so close to the beach was a plus! Everything you needed this home had. Our to pups enjoyed relaxing on the back porch with us each evening and for morning coffee. You could even see the sunrise and sunset each day. Terrific and organized host. Super responsive (I canceled my dog coming last minute and she did a refund so quickly and easily, I was grateful.). The pics of the condo don't do it justice. It's lovely, clean and organized and has so many little things that make staying with a family easier (puzzles, board games, etc..). The location is in the middle of Fripp so it's easy to hop between the pools and to the nature center. Such a positive experience from beginning to end. Thanks!!!!

Perfect location for my kiddos and myself. Loved that we could bring our dog too! Great place and well stocked. They even left us a small gift and bottle of wine! Highly recommend!
