We enjoyed our stay very much. We vacationed with our two adult children, one who just graduated from college, so it may be one of the last vacations with just the 4 of us. The accommodations were nice, for just having been opened from the hurricane a couple of years ago. There were some wall patches that still weren't painted yet, but overall, the condo was lovely. The views were amazing from the screened in porch and we spent every morning out there eating breakfast. The location is just a walk away from Times Square and very close to all of the activities we wanted to take advantage of. The condo. could use a refresh of decor but with the hurricane just a couple of years ago, I figured that it may still be a work in progress. None of that hampered our time there and we would highly recommend the condo. to others. We had the best time making fabulous memories. Lots of beach time!

Some plumbing issues but were addressed fairly quickly. Pool was not available until basically end of our stay. Condo and building property clean. Lot of vacant properties in the area but making progress.

The Good: Location, views, access to beach, lanai , and parking. The Not So Good: Elevators (one broken entire trip), TV…. Still have nOt figured it out. Horrible or no instructions, General condition is just “average”. Doors dont work well, rust on some appliances. Minor stuff but needs attention. Would I rent again ? …… Despite “not so goods” above…. YES.

The condo is right on the beach, with easy walk to the beach. The area is still recovering from Hurricane Ian with construction all around. This complex is also still under partial restoration but our unit was clean and worked great for our family. The pool was still under construction and there is ability to pay to use the resort next door but we just enjoyed the beach. Great communication from the rental company.

Condo had excellent ocean view as described and we loved it. But kitchen doesn’t have even 4 regular size mugs. Pots / pans / glasses need to be updated. Not much cost, but will enhance your guest’s experience.

This is one of the best condos I have ever rented. The Pink Shell is right next door and the beach is beautiful and not crowded this far away from the pier. I would definitely recommend it! Btw: The trolley picks up nearby to take to the pier.

The pink shell sets umbrellas up and chairs on the beach every day for their guess we had 25 dollar umbrellas in our hotel room that the wind kept blowing away and we finally found out the last day that we could pay $30 a day for somebody to put a nice umbrella up if I were you folks I would try to fix that problem that was our only issue otherwise it was a fantastic day thank you again

This property was perfect for what we needed. 4 adults and 2 children. We had plenty of room and the condo was clean and well stocked. The beach was NOT good. Water was very murky and dirty, lots of seaweed on the beach. Maybe the beach was yucky because it’s the rainy season, but I was expecting pristine, white sand beaches like other beaches I have visited in Florida, but that wasn’t the case at Fort Myers Beach. However, the condo was great!

Beachfront Condo was very clean and nicely appointed. The location was within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. Trolley stop is located in front of hotel next door.

The property was much nicer than we expected. Very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Would definitely recommend to others.

Enjoyed our comfortable condo, the location, its view, excellent restaurants and of course, the beautiful beaches. The only disappointment about the condo was the small, very cold, over crowded pool. (For pool lovers like me, this could be a deal breaker next time.)

The pool was a disappointment. Not big enough for the amount of people. Hard to find chairs there at times. Also some drain problems that management fixed in one bathroom. We used drano on master bath. Baths could be cleaner. Mold in master bath. Squeaky bed! It was comfortable, but squeaked with movement.

First off, the layout of the condo is great. We liked the sunlight with lots of windows and the balcony was useful. We were disappointed with several things however: The unit was very dirty. The floors were sand covered and slick open entry. The windows were really dirty. The cabinets were dirty to where we washed everything prior to use. The cabinet above the dishwasher was broken because one of the plastic clips fell out causing a glass to break. (The cabinets were very low quality for sure) The couch is worn out There is no HD channels on the TV. The beds squeak terribly when rolling over or moving. I have never seen a washer/dryer combo where you can only use one at a time and not both. The dryer vent basket was broken but we were able to use it. Hall bath has an extremely slow draining sink. There were not enough towels and wash cloths for 4 people. I know that’s a lot of complaints but wanted to take the time to communicate our experience. Amenities in a vacation rental should be as nice as a quality home and not a motel 6. Sent from my iPhone

We loved the location and beach front; however, the pictures were very deceiving in making the condo looked much larger than it actually is. Also, the unit only had cool and off, and we got cold. This was especially a concern since we had a baby and older woman with heart issues. Others in the condo said that they had heat in their unit. Also, the dryer lint filter was falling apart and was a fire hazard. We did not feel comfortable using the dryer unless we were present. We did find a potato chip under the end table, and the master shower door seemed to be off track. The batteries in the small remote in the living room were corroded. We tried to clean it up and put in new batteries, but couldn’t get it to work. We felt that this condo was overpriced, and we will definitely shop around before we visit this beautiful area again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Fort Myers. It was our first time and we are already talking about returning. We did enjoy using this condo. It has both a front and back balcony. We used both and only the end units on the northern end of the building have this feature. Having 2 bathrooms was great and we felt like we had plenty of space. We were delighted to discover that during peak season there is a free tram into the main area of restaurants. Our 5 year old is not much of a walker and he loved the tram. It made going out for ice cream or dinner super easy and quick! Some of the other reviews mention the mildew and I understand this can be an issue. We found that once we opened the plantation shutters there was mildew on the windows. I suspect the cleaning staff is short staffed and under time constraints and didn't realize this. A quick call to the management company took care of this. They were very responsive. Also mentioned was the amount of silverware/plates. There were place settings for 8 so if your group has more than 4 people you will be running the dishwasher more. There were 3 of us and it was a nonissue The main reason I gave an overall rating of 4 was the furniture. If it were possible to give 4 1/2 I would have. The beds are okay, not great and they squeak. So if you roll over in bed (particularly the king bed) the person in the next room can hear the squeak. Since I still spend about 8 hours a night in bed this matters. Also you really sink into the couch so it doesn't give you much support (and we are average size people). On the plus side, the color palette of floors/walls is soothing. We frequent Myrtle Beach, SC and some of the condos have very loud, overwhelming colors. These were subdued and pleasant.

We’ve been coming down to Ft Myers Beach for 40 yrs as we own a time share in April a couple buildings down from the Pink Shell. We decided to come in Jan since our college age kids were off from school. This condo did not disappoint. Perfect location and plenty of space. The evening sunsets were beautiful and walking distance to the Square. Much more affordable through VRBO than booking through the Pink Shell. The pool amenities weren’t the same but we knew that going in and the pool we used was just perfect for what we needed. We’d definitely stay here again.

The location of the property is perfect if you want to stay away from the town hustle but enjoy a .7 mile walk on the beach to relax. The pool area is nice and the attached cooking area worked wonderful, and things were clean. The room was as advertised with the only real problem being the beds and how bad they squeak, For such a small investment you would certainly think this would be on the top of the list for repairs.

We enjoyed the property and the beach proximity. Anything we needed was provided. The maintenance company responded quickly (there was no parking pass on the fridge when we arrived). Our only complaint was the noise from the neighboring resort. Just not to our taste, and distracted from the peaceful views.

Management company was better than vrbo

Out condo was beautiful but the best part was it was very clean. You could smell how freshit was as soon as you opened the door. We love the north end of the island, so we had our bikes delivered right to the condo and then rode to time square every day. We didn't even need to rent a car because the bikes even took us to the grocery store a couple of miles away. Our balcony views were great! The kitchen had everything we needed even though we never cooked. I would definitely recommend this condo and hopefully the next time we return to Ft. Myers Beach, we will be able to book this condo. If I am being honest, one minor flaw was the mattresses in the spare bedroom were not the most comfortable. Also, we had trouble with the elevators getting stuck several times. Other than that our stay was wonderful.

Our first visit to Ft Myers Beach and what a great choice for accommodations! Beautiful condo, great view, very very clean. The communication was great. We had every question answered. Highly recommend!

The view from the balcony is breathtaking. I took it all in every morning with a cup of coffee and enjoyed the sound of the waves. The condo was immaculate! We walked in to the Certificate of Disinfection and could smell just how recently it had been cleaned. The location of the condo is fabulous! We walked to Times Square in under 20mins - Once along the road and another time along the beach. The kitchen had all the amenities needed and more. The only small suggestion would be the addition of a liner in the 2nd bathroom shower to prevent water from dripping onto the floor. I can’t say enough good things about our stay and the condo. Thank you and we hope to be back soon!

Great Location, would like to see an umbrella with the two chairs that are available, would also liked to have had dishwashing tablets for dishwasher. Was perfect spot on the beach, pool areas and restrooms were super clean. Short walk to town square. Would come back to this condo if returning to Fort Myers. I give this a 4.5. Had a great vacation!!

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location and clean place. I will say the ad is misleading. Says it has a pool but they show the really nice pool next door in the photo. The pool you actually can use is small. It was disappointing when we thought there was a big pool

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is excellent and convenient to so much the area has to offer. The unit was clean and comfortable; the view—spectacular! We’d definitely stay here again.

A solid 4.5 star property, leaning towards 5 stars. The views are spectacular and really unique—you see the Gulf from a patio in the living room and the bay from a balcony in the master bedroom. The property is better than it looks in the pictures. It was very clean, no sign of mold/mildew as some previous reviews mentioned (I had contacted the manager specifically on that before booking).. It’s located right on the beach, in the northern end of Ft Myers Beach, away from the crowds, but you can walk (15-20 min) to the center of the action. Why minus 0.5 star?—the appliances are old but all in working condition. Those old appliances (I guess from the 80’s-90’s) are likely more reliable than some new ones. We had 3 home meals a day and the fridge was large enough for 5 people. Silverware and dishes are sparse—need to be washed after each meal. Also, we found too few! trash bags, paper towels, and bathroom tissue rolls. The W/D is fine but you can use either the washer or dryer at a time, and the dryer makes an alarming loud noise (an alien invasion?) when it’s done. The manager should fix: (1) a metal panel coming off the bottom of the inside of the sliding door in the shower in the master bathroom, (2) a wooden panel on the right side of the door to the master bedroom. There is a hotel next to the property and it’s mostly ok but: on a couple of occasions (early afternoon and just before 10 pm on a weekend) they played a very! loud music (might be a concern for those with small kids); they rent jet skis right off the beach and some of the careless riders get very close to the beach (though it’s against the rules); because of the jet skis and other plentiful power boats you get a dose of oil and gas in the water. For those tourists who come from NE and/or care about masks, you can rarely (almost never) see masks on the streets, in the elevators, or in small stores. Staff in hotels, large grocery stores, Uber wear masks. Finally, if you plan a trip from the island, budget an additional 5-15 minutes to cross the bridge (we stayed April 10-19 so traffic was busy but not super heavy). If you plan to use Uber/Lyft, it’s totally doable but plan ahead to wait for 20-40 minutes especially if you get a family car (tip: schedule a ride 5 min from now and the next available car will be routed to you).

We have stayed in this building before, so we were familiar with its location and layout. Renting thru VRBO made it very easy. We had a great time.

This place gets high marks in serveral key areas but upkeep is badly needed and should discount the premium price charged. Heavy Mold was growing around the shower, dirty and cracked light switches, ripped/unhemmed curtains, and mildew in decorative pictures. 2nd floor unit and corner waterfront was nice. Shame it isn’t kept in accordance to its location. Will go back if remodeled.
