Bath bottom when having a shower

The view is beautiful and the location is great if you want to be close to the beaches but also the city centre.

The room although clean and comfortable could do with some renovation as the kitchen cupboards were a bit old. It would be a good idea to have a mirror too.

The view from the apartment is absolutely stunning! Being able to open the curtains at the push of a button and see that every morning was a dream! The location is fantastic. You are only a short (and very pretty) walk away from the marina, where there are plenty of restaurants/places to get a drink to choose from. The walk to Limassol old town is also short and there are some gorgeous bars/restaurants there too. All the little touches, like extra bits in the bathroom (cotton wool pads, cotton buds, shampoo, body wash, etc) and kitchen (tea bags, coffee, etc) are a great touch. The host, Alex's, communication was great. Being able to message to ask any further questions was good and responses were quick.

The apartment felt a little run down compared to photos shown on booking.com. The bathroom is very dark. Once you close the shower curtain, you are in complete darkness (probably not helped by the dark choice of shower curtain). Above the shower, there is exposed, cracked concrete and the ceiling in the shower is the same. The bathroom feels a little unfinished. One of the beds has a very hard mattress, the other is very soft. For the majority of our stay, we ended up sharing one of the beds as the other mattress was absolutely solid. Neither mattress was comfortable, but the softer one was slightly better. For us, sharing wasn't a problem, but for others, this may not be appropriate. The location of the apartment is great, but being next to a busy road, there was quite a lot of noise from cars/motorbikes racing down the road at night. The windows are quite draughty and don't block out a lot of the noise at all.
