All around great property and location.

This home was so beautifully decorated, and has everything you would need to enjoy all that BHI has to offer. Very close to Shoals Club, East Beach, and short drive to the Market. The beds are so comfortable, and our teenage son loved having his own place above the garage. The golf cart was so fun. I could not recommend staying here more. The owners were very agreeable and easy to communicate with. A tip I wouldn't have thought of for a beach vacation, bring bug spray, the mosquitos don't play. BHI is truly a hidden gem. You won't regret a week in this paradise.

My family and I love Keepers Landing and this house is the perfect location. The house itself fitted our needs well and we hope to return.

We enjoyed our stay at Catch 22! The location is great to walk out to the marsh and see a beautiful sunset, or bike through the forest, easily get to East beach, Shoals Club or the market. We didn’t want to leave. The beds are super comfortable too! Everything was as described. Loved it.

Another great time at Catch 22!! It will be hard to ever want to stay anywhere else we love this home so much! It fits our family perfectly. We love the quiet location close to our favorite beach access. The trail walk to the dock is a favorite activity for us and our two young kids. Sunsets on the neighborhood dock are beautiful. The house is always very clean and everything we need is provided. The NEW GOLF CART is amazing!! It is fast so it takes a little getting used to but we throughly enjoyed it. The only thing I would love to see updated in the future is the mattresses, it may just be personal preference but all five adults agreed they are much too soft. I am looking forward to our next visit!

We made it through Hurricane Ian while staying here. The home is certainly well constructed as we didn’t really hear much. It had everything we needed to enjoy home cooked meals. Robert and Annette are great to deal with as well. Thank you!

We’ve stayed all over the island the past 10 years, with this being the first in Keeper’s Landing. Overall this house was great. It’s super convenient to the shoals club, east beach, Mike’s. The most comfortable beds and pillows yet, as well as really nice furniture throughout. TVs we’re in each room and the crofter with access to all the streaming services you are used to. The bathrooms were updated nicely and the kitchen had everything we needed for the week. The bikes(4) were a great addition, we rode them often, but there is one that probably could use an update. Communication with the homeowner was never an issue. The marsh overlook boardwalk was the absolute winner on this location. It is literally right across the street. Sunrises and sunsets were enjoyed everyday of our stay, but I kept wondering why more people weren’t out there? It was the most magical part of my morning. Crabbing is also convenient from this area, however I couldn’t muster up enough courage to actually cook them. I think the only downside to this house was the fact there is no view. I like to be able to see a little more than the road or the neighbor’s house, but I DID know this going into my stay. This house checks all the boxes I’d want in a house except that. So if you’re looking for a view from the house itself, this house doesn’t have it. But it does have a screened porch which was nice when it down-poured on our last day. So that was pretty relaxing to listen to while we read on the outdoor couch. I should also add that the location is off of the main roads of the island where a lot of traffic tends to occur. Keepers landing was very quiet and secluded and my friends mentioned they would feel pretty comfortable with their younger kids playing outside. Our preteen girls took the bikes and grabbed lunch at Mike’s Bites and went to shop a few times at the conservancy… And we saw several kids playing in the rain and having a grand time!

We really enjoyed staying at Keepers Landing. I really like that the house was stocked with lots of extras. Such as having a golf cart, beach chairs, crabbing supplies, body boards or just having some tote bags available. I really can’t say enough good things and was really easy to get around. Really liked having easy access to the creek that was across the street to do crabbing. Little tip on crabbing we found was to go at low tide!

This property was absolutely perfect - as was BHI as a whole! There was nothing missing from the home at all! Home was immaculately clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable, kitchen is well stocked and we very much appreciated not having to bring our own beach towels, chairs, boogey board, skim board, etc. Location is perfect - so close to the beach and Shoals Club! We enjoyed the screened in porch and back deck very much. We all enjoyed fishing and crabbing at the marsh in the evening and seeing spectacular sunsets! The owners were super responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely be back to Catch 22!

We had a great stay at this house and property manager was very responsive with any questions/concerns we had. House was in good shape, had the essentials for house living, and the beds were comfortable. The cart is old and very hard to drive and stop; property manager said they’d have cart maintenance company look it over. If we go back to BHI, we’d certainly look to rent this one again!

Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Catch 22. Keepers Landing may be our new “favorite” location on the island. The house was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was good. Initially, we thought that my 85 yr old mother would stay in the crofter, but then decided the ground floor master in the main house would be easier for her to navigate. My husband and I can report that the crofter was just as comfortable as the main house. As previously mentioned, there are currently only 3 beach chairs. We planned accordingly and brought our own. We hope to return next year!

This was our second stay at Catch 22. This house will always be our first choice of accommodation on the island. The location is beautifully wooded, quiet, and directly across from a dock over stunning marshlands. The house is very clean, comfortable, bright, well maintained and well stocked. The owners are very friendly and responsive. You can’t go wrong with this rental!

We had a great vacation. The house was just as pictured and had everything we needed. We are a family of 5 with 3 daughters (16, 14 and 8). We got the Shoals temp. membership for another place to eat. Not sure that was worth the $500, but we did have a great meal at Aqua. This was our first trip to Bald Head. The island is beautiful, but lacking in places to eat. The prices of restaurants is very high just like you read. Every meal we had- lunch or dinner was around $200-$350. The market is great. They have tons of food and basics are just like a local grocery store. The house did have lots of condiments- ketchup, mustard etc. I suggest leaving that all behind and just packing meats. What you don't have can be purchased. My husband and 2 older girls went kayak fishing for a half day and had a great time. They came home with dinner and it was spectacular. Oh and we attending church on Sunday at the chapel. It was beautiful. Worth a trip even if you are not a church goer. Would rent the house again!

First time on Bald Head Island for myself and my family, great time for a November get-away. Kids (4 boys 6, 10, 11, 13) had 2 days off school. The house was exceptional, plenty of sleeping space, Wi-Fi tvs, stocked kitchen, etc. There is a fantastic marsh-walk dock across the street my son and I spent hours fishing on. The golf cart worked wonderfully. We had a great time at the lighthouse, on the beach, fishing, hiking in the maritime forest. Finally, thanks so much to the owners for the opportunity. Awesome all around.

22 Keeper’s Landing was perfect for our family of four (plus has an adorable guest house if needed for a larger family). Well-appointed, clean, comfortable, wonderful location. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets-and crabbing-from the long dock across the street. Temporary membership to nearby Shoals Club provided additional fun for our 12 year old twins-pool, volleyball, outdoor casual dining, and beautiful beach access. The best place we’ve stayed at in BHI and would love to stay here again!

It was very nice to have initial items like toilet paper, hand soap and hotel size shampoos. The kitchen has everything you need and we even grilled on the charcoal grill one night. Our family had the most amazing time at Catch 22 this past weekend! This was our first time to Bald Head Island, and we had no idea what to expect. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. My in-laws stayed in the crofter, my husband and I in the master suite, and my two sons in the bunk bed room. First of all, the beds were SO COMFORTABLE. Best sleep I have gotten in months. It's so quiet in Keepers Landing. Speaking of Keepers Landing, the location was perfect for us. We spent time crabbing out on in the marsh (caught 4 blue crabs and had them for dinner!), and we all loved swimming and walking at East Beach. My son would wake up early and go watch the sunrise at East Beach with me every morning. One of my favorite new memories :) I loved how Keepers landing is nestled back away from everything but just a quick jaunt on the bike or golf cart. The kitchen was very well-stocked. The TVs all had rokus, and the internet was fine. We made use of the excellent game and puzzle selection at the house, as well! The owners were very responsive during booking and during our stay - I had a million questions the first day or two, and they were very attentive and super quick to reply!

Catch 22 was the perfect place for our family of four to get away for a couple of nights. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and our kids loved the corn hole set. The location was ideal — we spent each evening catching fish off the dock and watching the sunset. Would definitely stay there again!

This house was perfect for three adults - we did a girls’ weekend. It’s very clean and well-appointed. Keeper’s Landing is a little far from some things, but being tucked in near the marsh was quiet and lovely. Owners were delightful and prompt in their communication. Enjoyed it very much!

Great experience and the house was perfect for our family of 4! Clean, clutter free, well stocked and the 6 passenger golf cart was great for carrying “all the things” to the beach (beach toys, fishing pole, cooler, etc). Next time, we will ask the grandparents to join us - the crofter would be ideal for them. We also really enjoyed the Shoals Club. We used the BHI Club on our last visit and actually prefer Shoals because of its golf cart parking with direct, private access to the beach. Robert and Anette were very responsive as well. We will stay here again!

We loved staying at Catch 22. This is our second time on the island. This location was ideal. It is nestled in the woods to cool off the house and allow you to spend more time outside while still being close to some of our favorite beaches. The size of the house was also great. We had 3 kids (12, 14 and 16) in the bunk room. My husband and I were in the primary suite. My father and his wife were in the crofter. All had plenty of space to relax and separate for quiet. My brother and his family stayed down the road. They would join us for dinner...plenty of room for all 13 of us for meals. Bob and Annette were very responsive. They also gave us a heads up that the island was very short-staffed. So, we were prepared with extra groceries, etc. Highly recommend. Hoping we make it back to Catch 22.
