The cottage was a real ‘home from home’. The beds were really comfortable, a lovely hot shower and everything provided. Just perfect.

A lovely quirky little cottage that has been tastefully decorated and has everything one could possibly need for a holiday.

By no means is this a criticism as we loved our stay but just for the cleaning company, there was half a piece of bread left in the toaster, the wire rack in the oven still had food on it and some cobwebs between the beams downstairs.

The cottage was beautiful, very comfortable for a family of 5 and a dog. Great location, a short walk into Swanage Town with a great pub(lovely food) and a shop nearby.

Lovely cottage, in a close to central location. The inside was clean and in good condition. Parking could found nearby. Lots of amenities in the cottage

WiFi password did not work. My partner had to do some work on her laptop but was unable to connect. This was the same with both our phones.

The location of the property was perfect and all local sites and amenities were within easy walking distance. The property itself was so well equipped, cosy and comfortable... we loved our stay there.

The only negative was our inability to park outside or nearby Little Hyde. We found parking but it was several minutes walk away.

On street parking outside the house was very difficult, it's a very busy street at weekends. The front door is very low, both my wife and I badly banged our heads on leaving the house on separate occasions. I would recommend adding some padding internally to the threshold, as anyone taller than 5'9" is at risk of banging their head.

We had a lovely stay at Little Hyde Cottage. The place is so cosy & welcoming, it was perfect for our rainy weekend break! Stephen was a great host and very helpful when we had a couple queries. We would love to stay again. 🙂

Such a beautiful cottage. Cosy, well stocked and a stones throw from the seafront. Perfect bolt hole for a family of 4 plus a dog!

Only slight/tiny negative is no guaranteed parking outside but you can find a spot close by.

We were not happy with the fact we gave our time to arrive at 3pm and the cottage hadn't been cleaned from when the last people had left, we arrived at 3.15 and took our luggage in and then had to take it all out again and go away and wait until the cleaners came to clean

The cottage its is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, all furnishings and bedding were of a very high quality. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you could need for a short stay. We loved the location being a little up the town as it made for a lovely stroll down to the seafront. The host was excellent at responding to any questions we had. The information booklet was detailed and easy to follow. We will definitely be returning to little hyde cottage and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.

If I was to be extremely picky then I would say that instead of the 2 chairs and small unit in the front room, it would have been nice to have another small 2 seater sofa just for extra comfort but as I say, this is being extremely picky and not even sure it would be possible. It really is a beautiful little cottage.
