I'm usually a big supporter of small business owners and would never give a bad rating if we saw an effort behind. This time I need to make an exception as we were really disappointed:( I wouldn't recommend this house to my friends and would suggest to the owners to pay more attention to several details that would make a big difference: Please make sure your guests are welcomed in a bit nicer way - maybe in person, or at least leave a note with a bottle of water, or perhaps some nespresso capsules (I have never seen an accommodation with Nespresso machine and 0 capsules as welcome package). Would be a nice gesture. Please make sure next time the dishes and cupboards are cleaned after the last guests. They may have cleaned it for you, but perhaps not in a standard you would like to have for the next guests. Please also make sure you have bed sheets for the blankets. The nights may be cold, like we had, and we needed to sleep with blankets without the top sheet :( so inapropriate. Please make sure the lights do work in every room, which was not the case for us. Please make sure you inform your guests ahead that people are coming to the property, like the gardener, who surprised us early in the morning. The small terrace in front of one of the bedrooms was totally dirty, rather did not open those terrace doors (which were broken, so if we would use them, not sure they would make it) The main terrace was also dirty, like it wasn't washed since winter months. But the most bothersome of all were the cockroaches we found in the living room area.
