Cannot beat the location for the price!!!

Was a last minute booking and Joel was quick to get everything figured out for us.. enjoyed our stay and was close to the best Shelling..

Beautiful beach. Just a short 3 minute walk to the beach. Place was just what my wife and I needed for a little get away. Found lots of sea biscuits and shark teeth. Owner was very accommodating and was able to extend our stay a little. Thanks!

Very relaxing

Came for a weekend get away in October. Place was clean and quiet. Nice view from the back deck of the intercoastal water way. Quick walk to the beach. It was October so it was crowded at all.

The place was clean. Check in was the easiest I have experienced in over a decade. Owners were great. Well equipped in all aspects. One of the best vacations we have had.

It was just perfect for our family. 2 adults and 3 kids (16, 12, 4) It had a nice view of the canal out off of the back porch. A nice deck and floating pier. It was a perfect size to keep us all together but also give enough privacy for each of us. It was only a 3-4 minute walk to the beach which was pretty much wide open even on Saturday. It was also very clean on the inside. We will definitely be back.

Joel was very helpful. Unfortunately my 12yr old daughter and her friends are freaked out by palmetto bugs. I expected to see one or two but there multiple inside the place at night. She didn’t sleep hardly at all. The toilet is really close to the vanity and it was tough for me to get in there. Outside shower pipe busted which I get it happens but it was not operational. I can’t give it more than 3 stars.

We enjoyed our stay! Joel was so easy to work with and made checkin and checkout easy! We enjoyed playing cornhole and riding the bikes. Short walk to the beach. We will be back!

We had a short vacation for Spring Break and this house was perfect for my family. It was very clean, great location. The owners were super nice Would definitely stay here again.

Love the property! Only a little stroll to the beach. Clean and comfortable. No stairs, if you have anyone with mobility issues or small children, it would be perfect!!

I took my mom to Holden Beach for a late birthday getaway. She just turned 81. There were no stairs we had to climb and the chairs, couches and beds were very comfortable. Very close to the pier if you want to go to the beach or she’ll hunt. Joel was very friendly and helpful for any questions we had while we were there. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you Joel for a very nice and stress free booking!

We had a good time ! We walked to the beach everyday from the house it was a great location ! Quiet neighborhood, house has everything you need. Joel was a very nice host and made sure you knew he was available if you needed anything

Great little getaway location. Short walk to beach access. Enjoyed fishing and crabbing off the deck as well as easy launch for kayaks and paddleboards. Great little backyard and provided cornhole game was a plus! House was perfect for the family! Thank you!

Overall good place to stay at the beach, owner was very helpful and involved in entire rental. Kids upstairs were a little heavy footed, but hey, they were kids at the beach for a week, so it is what it is. If you are looking for luxury, go ahead and spend another 3k a week somewhere else if that’s your thing. If you’re looking for your average Carolina comfortable beach house, this is it. My only complaint is the bathroom is a little snug, that being said, I’m 6’ 4’ and the size of a small tractor😂

We rented this property for a family vacation and it was the perfect location. It was about a 5-10 minute walk from the beach. Joel is very friendly and easy to communicate with. He was quick to address any questions or concerns we had throughout our stay. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay at your beach house. It was very convenient, clean and had nice amenities. Check in/out very easy and the unit was nice and cool even on very hot days.

Great location - 1 block from beach; dock out back on canal - great for boats, 1 block from Intracoastal Waterway. The kitchen was well-stocked with necessities; comfy beds; wagon, bikes, floats for kids. We'll come back.

We loved having a short walk to the beach, as well as access to the intercoastal. The owner is very friendly and communicative, and has clearly spent a lot of effort adding perks to the house. It has bikes, porch swings, yard games, kayaks, and crab traps. We made use of most items and loved kayaking. It’s a good house for a small party - there’s one small bathroom for the downstairs unit, but we made it work fine with three adults and one child. The only things I found myself wanting were a few more kitchen items (a full set of measuring cups/spoons and smaller knives), and we had to be careful with our son to avoid the mosquitoes and fire ant hills (also just part of being by a canal at the beach - bring bug spray!). We only wish we’d had more time on vacation to show our kiddo how the crab traps work. The beach was beautiful in the evening and we found lots of great shells. We missed the baby sea turtles hatching by just a few days, but the Turtle Watch on the beach was very friendly!

Perfect little beach house. Peaceful. Kayak or crab trapping right in the backyard. Quiet neighborhood. Seconds away from the beach with bicycles available if you want to just cruise around the island. General store up the street and don't forget to grab some ice cream from Haley's! Joel provided plenty of communication upfront and was very responsive. I love this little island and the accommodations were perfect. Thank you!

The property manager was very thorough with instructions for checking in and out. Very kind as well. The only issue we faced was the cleanliness of the property. When we arrived, there was hair and sand on the comforter as well as a pile of it on the couch. After the storm came through we ended up having to leave early due to the amount of cockroaches that emerged in the house.

My husband and I rented the lower unit for a long weekend, we were in town for a wedding. The lender prefers to speak with each guest therefore you need to make sure you respond to his calls before your arrival. Most rentals just send a code through the listing but he gives it over the phone. I was a little uncomfortable with the privacy after the owner stated that people all up and down the coast had the code. I brought a backup door lock for our safety and I suggest anyone that stays in rentals get those. The space itself was a bit run down. The master bed had a broken support pole under the bed and was not attached to the headboard. The bathroom set up is very strange and the toilet is way too close to the sink, this could be a challenge for taller people. We also had a rough time sleeping because the upstairs renters had a young child who were running laps very early in the morning. Some positives to the property is he does offer some beach chairs, bikes and a wagon for guest use. There is a kitchen so you can cook at the unit but he did lack a few times like oven mitts and the kitchen was quite a mess with organization. The unit provided what we needed for the weekend but I would not choose to return to this unit.

I enjoyed the stay. Easy, relaxing, clean. Everything I was looking for.

Our weekend family getaway was a blast. The house was very clean and the location was perfect. Just a short walk to the beach or sitting out back looking at the boats! The kids loved bike riding on the dead end road, and the surrounding neighbors were all so friendly. We hope to return soon.

Second time staying at this place. Just like I remember the first time at Holden Beach. Very peaceful and relaxing. We are planning to stay upstairs and downstairs the next time around.
