Amazing place with all comforts and great breakfast. They even have a small selection of lunch options. From here you can explore the lovely surroundings along the coast, but also Syrakus is easy to reach by car.

Wi-Fi internet does not exist, room are humid, mini bar empty, no restaurant, no bar ( as these open in June)

the hotel is newly renovated and beautifully decorated . the pool and the grounds are gorgeous . the views of the sea are lovely

the rooms were extremely humid . to the point that the bed sheets felt damp and the soap was slippery even before wetting it . we brought it up to the attention of the hotel receptionist the next day and she attributed to the weather . we were told all rooms are similar

What a nice place! The familiyowned Masseria is some 20 minutew away from Syracuse, in s cosy old house and garden with nice pool. The rooms are located in the former workers houses, they are very well equipped and clean. It‘s an ideal place to start trips to the surrounding area. The breakfast was outstanding, mostly self-made sweet and salty bakery. Very polite and helpful staff. We‘d love to come back!

We had to leave after only two days and would have loved to stay much longer!

Restaurant was closed 2/3 of our time there. They should have warned us of that. Staff seemed super confused and unprofessional. We had to check out early because they weren’t sure that staff could handle check out later. Low level of service generally.

Friendly staff Pool was nice

Location is a bit hard to find. Avoid driving at night. Breakfast varieties can be improved.

We enjoyed the special atmosphere, the fine breakfast, the charming environment, the big swimming pool and the nice staff.

The only thing I missed the wardrobe from the room.

The Masseria was absolutely lovely. A very sympathetic renovation but with all the mod coms you expect. The rooms are airy and attractive and very spacious. The grounds are immaculately maintained and beautiful landscaped. Together with the generously sized pool it is an oasis of calm in the hot weather. The staff were amazing. It us a young team with lots determination to make your stay as nice as possible. Everyone is extremely helpful, attentive, proactive, always remembering one’s personal preferences and names. Their recommendations for local restaurants and beaches were brilliant and we found lots of nice places to eat. We felt really welcome and looked after during our stay.

A bottle of water in the room fridge on arrival would have been nice.

The property is so beautiful and very well kept. The garden itself is georgeous! It has a lot of old olivetrees with flowers underneath. All the rooms are on the ground floor which is convenient while travelling with large suitcases like we did. Our room was pretty with a comfortable bed and it had properly working airconditioning. The staff was very friendly and hospitable and the breakfast was delicious! Special thanks to the lady whom prepared everything herself, we really enjoyed it. There are comfy beds and beach umbrellas near the pool, which we weren't sure there were when we booked our stay. Also the pool itself is very well maintained. Siracusa is only a 15 minute drive away which makes Masseria Testaferata an excellent base to explore the environment. To all staff, thanks again for everything! We will definitely be staying with you when we visit again.

Stunningly restored farm with beautiful modern rooms in a stunning location. The garden is lush and great to hangout with a glass of Sicilian vino. Loved the service and big breakfasts.
