The main building was beautifully decorated, very cosy and felt like a home away from home. The bathroom was very cool and the kitchen had all the appliances for cooking, as well as coffee/tea and some spices/sauces. The bed was comfy and the location was quiet, with great views from the kitchen window to wake up to. Would reccomend for a couple but not a family/friends trip.

The booking states clearly “2 bedrooms” and “Free breakfast” (our price was for 2 people but clearly for 2 bedrooms). We arrived and there was no milk, no bread and nothing to put together for a breakfast. Also, the 2nd bedroom was in a small wooden dwelling/shed outside of the main building (this was not communicated to us, and not advertised on the booking). There was a heater and it was done up nicely but on checking the bed - the sheets & pillow cases were dirty from insects that must’ve been hanging about. I slept inside the main building in the same bed as my work colleague. Lastly the gate was very difficult to open and close, but we are two smaller females so probably more an issue with our strength. I have communicated all of the above to the host and have no reply - Perhaps it was all of the above was an oversight as he was overseas during our stay, but I think better advertisement and communication would be amazing!

The decor was lovely, the fire was great, the place was always lovely and warm. Loved the outdoor bath and the ducks :)

Fantastic stay, we fell in love with this gem. It is quiet, clean, spacious and calming. The whole place made us feel at ease. Woody was great, easy to talk to and friendly. We would definitely come again! We left feeling recharged and relaxed.
