It was room only which suits me as I'm not tied to times. Nice bathroom across a very small landing. A large light airy room with large fridge. Good size television. Comfortable bed. Plenty of drawer space and hanging space.

I found my stay in the house quite unpleasant

The house is placed in the middle of nowhere, which is around 30min by foot from the nearest station, and 30min by foot from the nearest town center and 1hcirca by train from Brighton. I find myself really uncomfortable by crossing really drunk people during the night in the neighborhood, the poor presence of street lights, and the total absence of other people around let me feel really uncomfortable. Surly not a safe place for a girl or a person traveling alone. There are no facilities all around the house, no shops, no pubs or cafè, nothing at all, if you are traveling by yourself and you have no car this is not the right place to be. The entrance of the room is not independent, and so you have to enter the house and move up to the third floor crossing the landlord bedroom floor. I found the room to be really smelly. The strong smell of feet was stuck on the parquet floor. In general, the overall hygiene of the room and of the toilet was relatively poor.

Clean, comfortable and very quite. 2 min walk to sea. Shops very close too. Exactly what I needed. Host very helpful and friendly.
