We loved the cabin, easy enough access and so close to the rock climbing and river fun that keeps us coming back to Arkansas.

This property is secluded (as advertised) but close to everything we wanted to do.

We loved the absolute peacefulness of the area. The seclusion of the wooded area was wonderful.

Grateful for the peace and quiet, the moon and stars, and the beauty of the area...thank you for the break and the wonderful cabin!

Lovely cabin and well appointed with everything we needed. The only small downside was the 1.8 mile drive up to the cabin on a dirt road that is better suited for a truck than a minivan! We made it just fine but it was a doozy of a driveway!

This is our third time to stay at Leatherwood. The layout is a little funky but rooms are roomy, beds are comfy, kitchen is well stocked, and it’s nice to have washer/ dryer (bring your own detergent). We Love the fire pit and lots of wood is provided. But lots of poison ivy near fire pit so beware. It’s very dark and great stargazing. We will be back! Thank you for sharing your home and thanks for allowing us to bring our pup!

Great place to stay if you truly want away from the city and just want to enjoy nature.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is conveniently located to trailheads and river activities and very secluded in a beautiful woods. The house is quaint and had everything we needed, including a firepit outside for cooler evenings and a great gas grill on one of the decks. The owner Pam is very kind and quick to respond to messages. The listing says there are two bedrooms upstairs, but it doesn't make it clear that these are separated only by a curtain. We made it work, but some families may prefer a little more privacy.

We brought Thanksgiving dinner and celebrated in front of the beautiful scenery of the bay windows.

Great secluded property.

Very nice house. Just needed some deep cleaning. Oven filter was smoking it was so dirty. It was kinda cold the first night, so we put on the heat, furnace filter also very dirty. We also had some mice problems. They ran from the washer/dryer to the heating vents. Got into our marshmallows and chocolate . Patio table needs to be replaced. But overall a nice place in a very good area. Just needs a deep cleaning

Neat house! We were looking for a location that was close to Ponca so we could hike trails in the surrounding area. This was the perfect location for us! It’s very quiet and secluded... great for a break from the hustle and bustle of our city life. We were glad we drove the truck because the driveway up to the house is a bit rough and also steep at the last portion. Still very passable in a car, but I think it was probably easier in our truck. We took our own food and cooked our own meals. The kitchen is well equipped. The house is well stocked with everything else you need. Beautiful wooded location. It was such a delight to view all of Pamela’s art on the walls too! If we go back to the Ponca area, we will definitely try to stay here!

Clean and unique! Close to everything but far enough away that you feel remote and relaxed!

Had a restful stay here. So happy to have found this place. You really do need a car or suv with a high profile. The way up is a bit rocky. Everything was very nice and comfortable.

This may be my new favorite place to stay close to Jasper. Secluded is definitely the best word to describe it and it was great. We had plenty of space to spread out and my granddaughters enjoyed it very much. It is the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen. We plan to go back!!

Off the highway and still close to everything nature can give. Will stay if available for future trips.
