House and location are very nice. Have a pretty garden and big parking space. Near the Hawaii National Park. It's our best choice in our journey.

Were surprised by the rain water system and low water flow but not a big deal as that is par for the area. The cottage offers a unique experience with its’ charm and location. The TV system requires some app experience which we found challenging. We were happy with our stay and glad we chose the property given the close location to the national park hikes.

For the price, bathroom could be upgraded and shower curtain replaced. Stove also needs replacing as it’s uneven.

Can't say enough good things about our stay. We didn't need keys, we were provided with a key code. The house is a vintage cottage with so much character. It is a perfect Hawaiian cottage. We had ample room for our family of 4. The hosts had everything clearly labeled and we had everything we needed in the way of linens and supplies. The kitchen is fully supplied with dishes, utensils, etc. - we took advantage and went food shopping and prepared most of our own meals. The hosts have a great big book on the coffee table with information about local attractions, restaurants, and services which was very helpful.

A beautiful and aesthetically pleasing spot as well as comfortable. The cottage captures the essence of Volcano. Beautiful garden. We have returned many times and feel that the cottage is our home away from home in Volcano.

Pictures on booking.com could be more informative/encouraging, because it's a super charming house with a lot of friendly spirit and with just about everything you need. At nights it can get a bit chilly, but in the house you have a handful of options to warm the place up. I wish we had more time to spend here. Fantastic stay!
