Quite easy to find, keys were in the door, all equipment, fittings and household goods are of good quality. Great location if you want the beach and sea.

Can someone please get the approach roads sorted out, getting there is like riding the dodgem cars.

Beautiful old cottage which has been in Graham's family for centuries and has been really taken care of. Not far from the beach at all. We were lucky enough to see a sea-lion. Not far from Pevensey and a short drive to Eastbourne. Nice garden to relax in. Graham's daughters also friendly and helpful. Comfortable, homely, nice place. Would return again. Stairs narrow and steep adds to quaintness. Relaxing and peaceful.

Stairs very narrow and steep that lead up to bedrooms, can't be helped it is an old cottage. No dishwasher. Not evident how to work oven. Had to phone Graham who put his daughter on the phone. She was very helpful and in the end with her aid, we found the cooker's manual. On 3rd day, the water turned stone cold so we had to phone Graham to ask him to come round and look at why there was no hot water. It turns out the previous occupants in the cottage had inadvertently turned off the valve so there was only enough hot water in the tank for 3 days. Couldn't use the bathroom that morning till owner had been and gone.
