- Beautiful and Spacious: The villa is beautifully designed and spacious, with plenty of room for two families. The different outdoor spaces were particularly delightful, offering various spots to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. - Immaculate Pool and Gardens: The outdoor area is pristine, with a well-maintained pool and lush gardens that were a joy to spend time in. - Great Location: The location is ideal, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to local attractions and beaches. Zoi, one of the staff members, provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants, and each one was spot-on. - Efficient Air Conditioning: The air conditioning system was highly effective, cooling the villa quickly and efficiently, which was a relief during the warm Corfu days. - Lovely Staff: The staff at Filia Stone Villa were wonderful—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help.

While our stay was fantastic, there are a few areas where the experience could be improved: - Cleaning Service: The cleaner did a good job overall, but they only came every twice during our 7 day stay and didn't always clean everything, such as leaving some dishes unwashed. More frequent and thorough cleaning would have been appreciated, particularly to empty the bins. - Supplies: We noticed that there weren't enough dishwasher tablets, and there were no spare bin bags provided. Additionally, there were no condiments like salt, pepper, or olive oil available, which would have been useful. Also, having a dishwasher downstairs would be a great addition, especially for larger groups. - Recycling: There were no recycling facilities, which was a bit disappointing. Providing a system for recycling would be a welcome improvement.

Had prior conversations with Zoi via WhatsApp, she was extremely helpful. Check in time was at 4pm and we had arrived earlier, she gave us recommendations of where we could go in the mean time. She met us at the property and gave us a tour of the place. The Villa was amazing, 3 floors with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 2 kitchens. Everything was clean and tidy and we had an amazing time. There was AC in every room which was nice as it was so hot and the pool outside was amazing. There is also a BBQ which we took advantage of. The town of Gouvia at the bottom is nice, some good bars and restaurant and the marina was nice also to visit. There is a supermarket at the bottom of the hill also for any supplies needed and a lidl about a 10min drive away.

The villa is located on a tight right turn however both on google maps and waze it does take you directly there. The road itself after taking the right turn was hard as its very broken down so had to be extremely careful and slow and finally the WiFi was not good as it did drop randomly almost every time.

its much more remote than we realised and you need a car. also there was a wasps nest at the outdoor eating table which we complained about several times but it was impossible to outside which was very frustrating.

Just excellent. Fantastic gated quality home. High quality design and fittings. Full of character despite being brand new. Garden is immaculate and maintained every few days. Zoi, the agent was thoughtful and very responsive. Labrini, who was available to clean every day for 3 hours 🙂 was absolutely charming, and sensitive to more sleepy family members! Loved the food terraces and balconies. Air on was very efficient. Convenient for travel to Aqualand, the airport and easy and westerly beaches. Pool was perfect for a family of 6. We just felt thoroughly spoilt!

Very little to say here. It’s a touch far to walk into Gouvia - doable, but you wouldn’t want to do it regularly. The house next door is yet to be finished, but there was no work whilst we visited, so it all still made for a quiet experience. Quite a lot of cats/kittens around - cute, but keep an eye on the BBQ area when you are using it, or you might lose some food. You’ll need to watch any open doors - we had a couple of occasions when a cat slipped inside. But cats are everywhere in Corfu, and the positive features vastly outweigh a bit of “shooing”.
