Second time stay and loved it once again!

This house is the perfect size and is in a great location. Plenty of parking, pool is perfect for afternoon relaxing and the beach is a 3 min walk. Shops-n-stores are all close by. Steve was a great host making sure everything was in place. He even checked in with us on our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. The weather was absolutely perfect and the beach was crystal clear.

This was a great house for our family of 4! (Kids ages 4 and 2) We loved the pool and the proximity to the beach was amazing. We especially appreciated that the house had beach toys, chairs, and a wagon. The house is near lots of restaurants and conveniently located. We had a great time!

Terrific! This place has it all… location, outdoor pool and deck, 90 sec walk to the beach! Our family of 6 loved the pool area. We spent more time there than at the beach! If you like ice cream, walk in either direction and you have a choice in under 5 minutes! All you really need to bring are your clothes. The hosts have thoughtfully provided everything you need for the beach or pool. Laundry on site was also a huge plus with 4 kids! Outdoor grill was actually clean, unlike other properties we’ve stayed at. The restaurants in the area get really busy, really early in the evening, so we utilized the grill several nights. This is by far the best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at! You can’t go wrong with this place!!

Loved our stay with three mermaids and a crab! The pool was especially loved! Great location and beach. Appreciate that boogie boards and pool floaties were provided by the owners.

We had a great stay. We used the heated pool throughout the stay. House was clean and owner was responsive. Beach access was right next door, along with the trolley stop. We were able to walk or trolley up and down the coast.

Location to activities, restaurants and beach were amazing. The kids loved the heated pool and we used it daily. Steve was a great host. We plan to come again next year!

Traveled as a group of 6 for a Mothers/Daughters trip. Wonderful time. Cozy cabin with plenty of room for all. Close to beach. Steve was very responsive to our questions. Would definitely recommend 3 Mermaids and a crab.

Excellent communication with property manager. House is exactly as described on website and in pictures. The neighborhood is both quiet but with great access to restaurants and nearby cities. Heated pool is wonderful and beach is just around the corner and beautiful and uncrowded. Great place for a relaxing vacation.

The property was amazing. My granddaughters spent every possble minute in the pool. Great beach 2min away. Lots of beach toys provided. Best family vacation yet!

We really enjoyed our time at 3 Mermaids and a Crab. The beach was so close, and the location is a short drive to just about anything you want to do. The pool is so wonderful to have when you want a break from the sand. The beds were comfortable, and it was just a really cozy place to stay.

Celebrated my birthday over Labor Day weekend with my family, It’s hard to find a location that can truly accommodate 6 adults and has parking! The house was perfect, very clean and Steve is outstanding to work with!

Our family had a great stay at 3 Mermaids and a Crab! The house had everything you needed and the short walk to the beach was amazing! The backayrd pool was a added bonus. If you love local coffee, there is a great coffee shop a mile down the road called Indian Shores Coffee! Amazing coffee and homemade treats. My Brother and SIL are Vegan and they even had breakfast items for them. This home is walkable to restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend staying here and will book again soon!

3 Mermaids & A Crab is in an awesome location! Steps from the entrance to an uncrowded beach and within minutes to some of our favorite restaurants. The house was well stocked with everything we needed (beach supplies, kitchen supplies, extra fan). We appreciated the excellent communication with Steve and would definitely stay here again.

This house was perfect for our family of four and we'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The distance to the beach access made taking everything we needed very easy. Water pressure in the showers was fantastic and having an outdoor shower helped keep sand inside to a minimum. We didn't use the pool as much as we thought we would as the decking gets super hot during the day and there is very little shade until evening, still, it was a nice option to have our own private pool. The kitchen could use an update, a few more pots and pans, and the master suite definitely needs a new mattress. There was an issue with an odor when we checked in and the property owner was more than gracious in trying to correct the issue. He was very attentive and checked in with us on multiple occasions. I'd say he was the best property owner we've encountered during our many VRBO stays.

3 Mermaids and a Crab is out go-to spot in Indian Shores! We have stayed 2 years in a row and our stay was even better this year. The location to the beach, restaurants and shops makes it easy to park once and walk everywhere during your stay! The addition of the outdoor shower this year was a nice surprise! Steve is always easy to reach and quickly solved a minor problem we had with the pool. I recommend this property all the time and there is no doubt we will stay again next year!

It was great to have a private pool with good seating around it. The beach is a short easy walk. Wagon, chairs, beach toys were nice surprises. Recently re-decorated, very nice. Beds comfy, TV's in every room - which the kids 3-6 loved. Paper products good. Cabinets with lots of spices etc. Grill uneven heat as flame spreaders wearing out. Lots of parking. We would stay there again.

Loved the pool, location, responsiveness, and beach supplies they left. Very nice place. All of its newly nicely renovated minus the kitchen which was still very functional. The bedding wasn’t the most comfortable which isn’t a huge deal but stood out.

Property was very clean. The outdoor space/pool was great. There were lots of pool/beach toys. The beach was about a 4 minute walk.

This property was so wonderful and such a perfect fit for our group. The pool was wonderful with plenty of seating. It was steps from the beach and the trolly stop. Steve was easy to communicate with and prompt in his replies. Would highly recommend this property and would love to stay at again.

We really enjoyed the house, the short walk to the beach and dips in the backyard pool. Because of a tall building right between the house and the sunset, it gets shady a little early but you can just walk a minute to the beach and be back in the rays of sun. Steve was very responsive and generous by letting us check in a little early! Definitely recommend.

Loved this place! Great for our family of 6. Super close to the beach , walkable places to get snacks/alcohol. The home was decorated on point, super cute! The pool was awesome too!

My sister and her family from PIttsburgh had planned a trip to visit us in Fort Myers prior to hurricane Ian. Since then, the hurricane destroyed our beach and we were struggling to find a place with a beach for us all to enjoy. Upon contacting Steve, he immediately responded and accommadated us. His place was perfect. There were 4 of us adults and my14 year old nephew. There was plenty of space for all of us with extra room to spare. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, there was everything we needed at the house plus more. We walked to the beach every day, which was an easy 4 minute walk without any busy roads to cross. The beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. We LOVED using the beach chairs that Steve provided. The private heated pool and deck was a pleasant bonus. We hung there every day after the beach. The location is convienent to restuarants and shopping. A few of our favorite places were; Sweet Sage - Breakfast, The Salt Rock Grill - DInner, John's Pass - Shopping. We would definately consider going back to 3 Mermaids and a Crab. Thank you Steve for being a fantastic host.

Steve was great from time of booking all the way thru our stay. Great place steps from the ocean. We didn’t realize how great having our own pool would be - it was! Very close to multiple places to grab food/ice cream and only a couple miles to plenty of others.

We loved our stay! The property location could not be better, literally a 1 min walk to the beach! The pool is such a nice perk. We saw a lot of hours right on the beach but no pool, I will take the short walk to have the pool for sure! The beach was quiet and lovely. The space is perfect for a larger family. We all had our own space but had the lovely common area to gather. The kids keep asking when we can go back to the beach house!
