Only two short blocks to the beach, with access by the community center so it has bathrooms and showers to rinse off. Having the dock with kayaks and paddle board available was very convenient. We caught fish right off the dock at high tide. We could sit 10 at the table for dinner and 4 at the breakfast bar. Everyone had their own bedrooms and bathrooms so getting ready was never an issue. There is a very large family sitting room with plenty of space and comfortable sitting. We will return.

Love the location. Close to everything. Perfect beach access. Great house. All the bathrooms were a big bonus! The extra fridge was a great add.

Great family house

The property management company was very responsive leading up to and during the rental, which was wonderful. The home is plenty big for two families with small kids and a set of gran. And being short walk to the ocean was great. Biggest complaint is the road noise, which is simply because of where the home is. Being next to 2nd avenue and close to the middle of the island, there is a TON of road noise all the time. It was challenging to talk on the outside decks at different points because of it and our small children were woke up from loud trucks going by. Just know that what you gain in proximity to beach and restaurants you lose in peace and quiet. The house is fine but could use a thorough cleaning beyond the weekly switchover. The washing machine (front loader) has mold/mildew stains all over it and smells strongly. Was told they tried to clean it and would pass along feedback to owners. It’s clearly been this way for a while. The carpets are fairly old and show lots of wear, which could be a plus since you don’t have to worry ab messing them up. And just overall, the inside of cabinets and drawers need a deep clean (lots of crumbs etc), under certain furniture was lots of dust and dirt, and other minor things like fans being too squeaky to use and the dryer making a high pitch noise when running(with sign acknowledging it works but makes a noise). Not a bad stay but having stayed all over ocean isle, there are MUCH quieter and better kept homes available.

House seemed much bigger than it was because great layout. Lots of deck space and very well maintained property. Extremely convenient walk wherever you want to go. Host was very accommodating.

This property is conveniently located to beach access and the bridge to enter/exit the island. The outdoor area in the back of the house is secured by a fence. The home is suitable for adults with one large living room area. The kitchen is very well stocked but can use a deep cleaning inside the cabinets and drawers. The mattress in one king room is stained. The property owner was terrific to work with, very responsive and accommodating even during the Christmas holiday. We would definitely rent this place again.

The house is very lovely and very spacey. It has some aging on it but not too bad. The house is in a nice location, a short walk to the beach. My family enjoyed that we could watch the parade from the balcony, which was very nice. The beds are super firm. We had to search each room to figure out which remote went to which tv, which was no fun at all. I found dirty socks under the bed and there were feathers from the pillows on the carpet. So the cleaning could have been better but we cleaned when we got there like we would at any establishment. There were old stains on the comforters probably because they are aged. The house was equipped with everything you need to get started. Rob was great to communicate with. He responded to my texts fast. Everyone I talked to in the community was very friendly and helpful. Great customer service. This is a great place for a large family get-together. I would stay here again.

Renting a six-passenger golf cart was also a good idea as it was helpful transporting to the beach and touring the island. The only glitch was an error in the access code on move-in day but Rob quickly rectifide the issue. There was also some kind of problem with the washing machine at the end of the week but was reported to Rob and I have no doubt that too was taken care of promptly. This large gathering of our family was planned early last year and eagerly anticipated for 12 months. Lots of lasting memories were made. Many thanks to the owner of the property and to Rob who helped to make our stay a big success.

This house was perfect for spreading out comfortably with family. We loved the access to the dock, fenced yard and the fact that we were able to bring our dogs. Super close to public boat ramp and private airport, and groceries. We will be back.

The property was location was idle right off bridge, close to eateries, coffee shops and most importantly a stone's throw away from the beach. A great place to unwind and enjoy with friends and family.

We had a great time. The property was exactly as described and I great shape. We used the kayaks and paddle boards that were included almost every day. The location of this property to the public beach access is less than a 5 minute walk. Rob was great to deal with. He answered questions immediately and handled any concerns we had timely. We would definitely recommend this property.

I almost didn’t write a review because I didn’t want to let the secret out about how great this house is! Perfect location for walking to everywhere. Lots of deck space for lounging. It felt very comfortable and relaxed. We did a lot of fishing off the dock and took advantage of the different ice cream shops! Absolutely wonderful vacation and loved the house. Thank you!

Clean, well stocked, and convenient to beach, stores, entertainment, restaurants, etc. The couple of things that needed attention were minor and were handled. Only hiccup was the A/C control. A little confusing and somewhat unpredictable.

What a wonderful vacation!! Communication was fantastic and our overall experience was exactly what we needed and hoped for! We have 4 adult children (or nearly adult). The house was perfect for everyone! We never felt crowded or uncomfortable. The house is well equipped. The fenced in backyard made it easy for our four legged guests! Thank you for offering your home! Highly recommend!

It was a great experience from check in to check out! The house location couldn’t be better, and the porch was perfect to watch the 4th of July parade.
